Very impressed with your attention to detail to ensure your clothes are comfortable and fit your body as you want. I have subscribed!
Thank you so much 😊
Watched all your videos today. Would love to watch you in an "edited sew along" with one of your new fabrics. You could teach us some of your tricks and even frustrations in sewing.... Really enjoy watching you.....
@@barbaralee3918 thank you, and thank you for the suggestion. I've thought about doing a sew-along but I realized I'm an insanely chaotic sewer and often go rogue 😆. But I will definitely take this into consideration and try to get an episode up.
Everything you make and alter looks so professional! I definitely skip some of the careful steps you take when I try to just "quick fix" something... it definitely pays off. Maybe someday I, too, will carefully address some of my alteration pile...
@@karisap haha thank you, and hey whatever works for you
Your bias tape addition to the striped pants absolutely made them sing! Also the fabric itself with that little bit of metallic thread is just edgy enough without being over the top. WRT to alterations, I definitely have to psych myself up because, although I enjoy the construction, I thoroughly dislike the deconstruction. (I will admit that I was a bit shocked by the number of items in your alteration bins. 😲) I'm glad you were able to salvage so many items. Thanks again for sharing your thought process, Megan.
@@skyhowie54 thank you, I completely agree WRT the addition of the bias tape. In regards to my bins...yes I hold on to everything I think has potential... I'm aware I have a problem 😆🤷... I'm working on it...
I made this pattern some years ago and hated it. It was huge and I just tossed it. Your changes make me reconsider. You also make me look alterations and styling differently: it's not cast in stone. I especially love that linen bias tape. Thanks.
@@lesliechristian8907 yeah the pattern is HUGE!!! I'm surprised I was able to save them, but a little fiddling and downgrading in size went a loooong way. So sorry you had to scrap them☹️
I have Vogue 8499 too, but have never made it. I love Marcy tilton‘s patterns. It’s great to find something with a little different silhouette, and I find that my eye grows into liking the unusual style. I love what you did with your alteration. I have a huge pile of doom and you have inspired me to tackle some of the pieces.
Oh my goodness the algorithm delivered you to my suggestions this morning and I have subscribed and really enjoyed this video! I love the changes that you made and the pants at the end? The linen ones… With the chambray and the bias tape! Oh my goodness it isso so good!
@@therewillbecatswithgwenhwyfar thank you so much for subscribing:) and thanks, yeah I'm pretty in love with them
I hate making alterations. I call my pile trash.
😆
