Вставка
- Опубліковано 4 вер 2016
- In this video I show off my U.S. Type Set Collection. All of these coins came from deals I made at garage sales, estate sales, private purchases and more. I never bought coins off eBay or anything like that. I hope you enjoy!

The 1872 2 cent piece you have, is the big key date to the 2 cents and has only 65,000 minted, so that 2 cent could be worth several hundred dollars even in good condition
It looks like the liberty head nickel he has is a 1912-S as well, that's pretty valuable too.
Nice to see young people enthusiastic about coin collecting
I need to get me a type collection folder/album. Great coins you got there, too!
Very nice collection! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for sharing your collection. Would love to get a high grade capped bust one of these days.
Watch your show, enjoy spending time with your shows, as well as other similar. I may have a coin that may for that type book set. 1794au one cent. I may look for a trade. If interested. Again thanks for keeping me company with your show
I love the reverse of the capped bust dime, my favorite
by the way is the commemorative in the last page a commemorative large dollar?
Excellent updates! Very impressive that you were able to accumulate all of these type coins in the manner that you did. I couldn't help but fall in love with my type set, so I didn't bother checking out that vid because I'm too far gone to turn back now :) Thanks for sharing with us, and I'm rooting for you to one day complete this one without "cheating" by using eBay...
Thanks! I'll take you all along for the journey!
Very nice...set...Congrats!😊
Awesome collection.
Nice set, those albums go for good money.
Very nice!
I can't believe that this video has so many views when videos from silversearcher only have 10000!
Coming along quite nicely. really like the trade dollar and bust half.
I'm trying to fill a type set with only metal detected coins. It is going to take a while......
That would be awesome!
What a nice presentation with your type set me myself is trying to put together a type set with the capped Bust half dollars from 1807 thrue 1836 in AU53
Bruh I've been watching you for like three years big fan
Thanks man! Much appreciated!
Nice start on a type set.
Thanks!
Nice collection! You could probably use some acetone to take off the pvc damage(green patina) on your Barber half.
Thanks! I'll look into that
any update on this? I have mine completed except for the gold page, which isnt included anymore but I have added to mine. I plan on doing a video soon, this is my favorite set in the collection
Very interesting doing book. Do have a number of the coins already. ❤️😊
Love to do this type set.
Go for it! It's so much fun!
I wish I could find one of these type set albums. They are as rare as some of your coins.
I hear that. Check eBay periodically
Dansco finally stocked on albums so they are like 20 dollars now
Where’d you get that coin type folder from? that’s exactly what I’m looking for for my coin types
Edit: Nvm found it on amazon
Chief Silver Stacker what did you search to find it
@@lulzz3005 i found it by searching "us coin type set" on Amazon but it was 94$ so I didn't by it
Dansco 7070 is what the album is called
@@ratprince1258 You can get it for 60$ on Ebay
The US type set is a daunting task. I personally would skip all coins that I can't get in VF or better at a sane price which pretty much means skipping all those early copper coins.
Where do you buy the book
Great set been working on mine, what is up with the bad audio in the middle of the video.
Thanks. I shot outside for better lighting and the wind got to it.
On the littleton coin company’s type sets because I was just wondering if it’s worth buying both the 19th century if I only a few coins in that era and the 20th century because you have more coins in that era
It's tough to say. I definitely prefer the Dansco albums, but they are really tough to find. I'd say if you can afford both of the Littletons go for it, but otherwise start with one
hey bud i got a concave penny in change the other day and it looks like a mint error, one side is zinc kinda no copper in the center and the rim is zinc on both sides... let me know what you think
Shoot me a pic at thesilverpicker@gmail.com
You should do another update
I definitely will!
is that 1912 v nickel an s mint?
It looks like a d to me
Do you make a lot of money flipping garage sale buys?
Sure do
Hey have you gotten any 3-cent nickel pieces since 2016? I'd be happy to donate a spare!
Hey! I wish I had seen this earlier! I actually got one already. Thanks for your generous offer, though! I'll be posting a new update in a couple weeks. if you see anything I'm missing and you still are feeling generous though, I do have a PO Box 😬😬😬
What is the greatest coin you have, Silverpicker?
I think it's probably my $20 gold piece
can I have your still cent, liberty head and a half dollar please.
second
the clad quarter is 1962, silver, not clad
It's 1968
