I see how you're bring careful when opening the 2X2s so that the staples don't scratch the coin. For me it's no longer a matter of scratching the coin. Sometimes I don't have the strength in my hands to open the 2X2. And I don't know how many times I've poked my fingers with the staples after opening the 2X2. Since I don't plan to reuse the 2X2s I take a wooden toothpick and poke a few holes in the film outside the outer edge of one side of the coin. Then I bend the 2X2 to break the film and pull the coin out. It's quicker and there's a much lower risk of damaging the coin.
Glad you could use them all, they were extras from my Philippians set, not in a Whitman or Dansco, though. Created my own book and continued the set to the more modern coins. Ahead of you. Finished my set. I do like creating my own type-sets. I have quite a few there are no books for.
In 1906, the price of silver made the melt value of the large pesos more than the US dollar equivalent face value of $0.50. A Congressional Act on June 23, 1906, reduced the weight of the peso from 416 grains to 20 grams and the content from 90% to 80%. This also reduced the centavos weight and composition from 415.5 grains per peso to 20 grams and 90% to 75%. This is why the 1906-s peso is a key date--even though around 201,000 were minted, most were melted.
I have an almost complete type set that’s missing a 1/2 & 1 centavos and the 1936 commemorations (mostly because I really don’t like FDR). They all seem to be MS 66 or MS 67. How much about would it cost to have them PCGS graded? My family in the Philippines has a jar filled with these that my mom left behind. It’s probably worth thousands lol. I even had a very nice 1945 10 Centavos made into a 14” pendant for my daughter that perfectly represents her mixed heritage.
I'm more of a silver investor I usually collect 90% silver USA coins but I'm trying to branch out a little bit and learning as much as I can about other coins and if I find a good deal on other types of coins I'll probably get them
I am working on finishing my nickel album. I am also working finishing the magic the gathering lord of the rings set. On type sets do you think it better have rarer dates in the book or better looking coins?
Wonderful coins to collect! I was lucky enough to get a 1701 3pence in MS62 grade by NGC, almost impossible to find in decent grade. I can’t even find a decent grade, 1,2, and 4 pence. 😢
I have syrian pastries and halfs , I have up to 1950s and from French madate syria most are silver i believe, when the 3 star was on the flag . I love history
I had a complete Canadian Type Set. 2 albums, 1 small coins and one large coins. Like a dummy, I sold it. Wizard Coin Supply had a few but I really did not want to spend $40 per album. Any suggestions on finding some Foreign Type Set Albums at a decent price? Thanks...
If you can find one of these albums they may have some degree of damage. I wish I would have kept my Canadian five cent silver album I sold many years ago. I haven't been able to replace it.
I used the link to download Whatnot but I can't see the 15$ credit. Does it only appear when I make a purchase or did something go wrong? Edit: I figured it out. I forgot to verify my email.

I'm glad to hear this I'm also collecting different coins in other countries. I have coins from Kuwait maybe you will like it also. Thank you
Hi...are you open on barter coins from PHILIPPINES?
FROM WHAT COUNTRY ARE U?
I am working on US type set books from each century, working on Morgan and Lincoln cents of all dates.

I 100% prefer better looking coins. Rare dates don't do it for me
You’ve gotta get into uk coin type sets! Especially Victoria coins those ones are beautiful

I'd love to know too lol. They're really, really hard to find
Where did you get the book? I would love to get my hands on one of those.
eBay. Unfortunately they're really hard to come by
Would it be easier to cut the plastic? So you do not worry about the staples.
Theoretically but then you could slip and hit the coin
I have what you need in philippine type set volume 1. Are you still completing volume 1
I love chop mark coins. Would buy those anytime
I'm working on a type set word wide from my birth year 1955 and one coin from every coin issuing country from the twentieth century
That's a really cool project!!
Where are you getting the type set albums? I cant find any besides US type albums.
Unfortunately it's the hardest part. I had to wait a long time to find these on eBay

Surprising they didn't have any slot for the Culion Leper Colony coins. Have a 1925-PM One Peso Philippine Health Service.
I agree that it's not the greatest album but I couldn't find a Dansco

Great coin trade!
Very interesting in a very good point typeset some nice to have
Great additions good sir!
Wow Spanish ones too, Cool
I like to cut the plastic with my thumb nail so no staple can scratch it.
I've heard of people doing that, but with some coins (mostly gold), I'd be worried about scratching the coin with my nail
Somebody wore a wristwatch in the sun
😂😂😂
Very nice Coin trades
Thanks!
