Regarding the 2 cent coin... you said you wish they used a modern coin instead. I bet they did. Who's to say that wasn't shot over a hundred years ago?
Good video! It is not fair that they knew who the bag was for. In this case I am sure they stacked the bag for the video. I will not be ordering from there because there is no way they do this for everyone and I will not be happy thinking I am getting something I won't. Also I think to be fair with the other coin dealers you buy bags from amd us watching the coin dealers should not know who they are going to. Just ky 2 cents.
They're toying with your emotions. 😂 I'd have to say you overvalued that PR67CAM Quarter by JUUUST a skosh. I averaged the top 10 auctions on the PCGS coinfacts page for PCGS/NGC graded PR67CAM examples, and the result is $29.80. Additionally, the holder is damaged and would not sell anywhere near market value in its current condition. PCGS' reholder fee is $13 + $22 Shipping + $10 handling, totalling $45.00, making this coin a net loss of $15.20. I'd give it away too. ANYhoo... Captain Buzzkill AWAY! 💩💨⚡ (Sorry, I am a subscriber and I do enjoy your videos). 👍
I like the broken silver set, you get a little project of putting some cool proof coins into 2x2's and writing what they are on the label. At least they are US minted and proof.
I’m curious what’s the best route to take I have no a 1923 hi relief double die obverse liberty the face and neck the 1923 are very well defined I have not found one with as much definition as mine and the toning on it is gorgeous what’s your advice although I collect anyway so just asking
Hey I have a question what does a die chip look like I have a penny that I just found from the 1970s it has the face but when you flip it around on the reverse side it is hollow there is nothing there this is a one-sided penny from Denver mint.
I do like your bag better then Treasure Towns however you brought up a point which is the main reason I don't buy grab bags. The majority of what I feel you get in a grab bag is filler,, stuff that has value but very low and hard to move if you are trying to sell it. So, they fill the grab bag with all this stuff, which does add up in value but I would rather have just looked for something I really wanted for my collection instead. Now, there is some nice coins and very collectible stuff also in the grab bags. Just overall, they can feel more like somebody getting rid of the stuff that they don't want more then it feels like a fun search for goodies.
Actually, even common wheat cents like a 42 D go for around 3 cents. I buy bulk lots of them for 3 cents each. But honestly, I’m paying that price hoping there are some better ones in there. If I knew they were all 42 D’s I wouldn’t even want to buy the lot.
I have a coin collection I accumulated over the years. I started collecting monthly a couple years ago and got some interesting coins. I want to figure out values and get a better idea of what I have. I’m a novice. Can you help me out or give me a direction? I love your channel. I’m learning a lot. Don’t stop what you are doing
Wow that is shameful. Taking out the Silver coins you ruined it.. just take it apart and give the coins out separately. I'd be so sad and mad at the same time haha. But tbh they made up for it with that quater I guess
Bruuuutal... all grab bags are garbage... the amount of junk yhey add, you basically bought the quarter.. hard sell at 50$.. ebay has it between 30-40$
From the diameter of the bullet dent and the damage it inflicted, that 2 cent coin may very well have been shot by a muzzle loader back when it was still in use - in other words, that's a century plus old bullet impact. Do you know anyone who collects civil war firearms? If so, bring that penny and see if any of their bullets rest comfortably in that dent - I'm betting .44 ball or conical. If I'm correct, then that coin is likely worth more than one shot by a modern firearm - just sell it with the modern replica bullet as proof it was likely shot at by someone in the 19th century.
I don’t think you have any say in what other people should do ,your opinion is your opinion, and we all don’t agree with your opinion that’s for sure..

That is a totally fair point, Mark!
Honestly, this is what I thought also. :)

nice bag, loved the Guy Fox addressed First Day of Issue stamp!
The grab bag is like riding a roller-coaster with all it's ups and downs.
That's for darn sure!
Had a lot of fun with this battle - hope to take back the lead in the last bag!!
We shall see, buddy ol pal! 😜
Would like to know where i can buy these grab bags!!!!!

Wow, that grab bag knocked it right out of the park 😮
I would never join what not or tic toc , I’m sure they are good but really I have more than enough apps . The $10 deal is a great idea

a magic coin milled like that for tricks most likely.
Do you know where I can buy from them? I’d love to get their grab bag

@@Silverpicker ohhhh wait I just noticed that! My apologies! 😅

I can't argue with that lol!
Another interesting episode! The Civil War item is not a banknote - it is a redemption coupon from a $500 Confederate Bond.
Really fun seeing all the variety!
I try to get the 10 bucks thing and don’t think it work
first pick - missing coins ..... i want to stand in THAT line !!
One thing the card guys need to start doing is grab bags that are not "salted". The reviews are useless when they get their favorite player etc.
That paper is a nice piece of history in relation to the Hunt brothers and the market manipulation.
Do you use a different name or address when buying these grab bags?
In this case Christian from Treasure Town procured both bags for us, so I'm not sure what he used
😳 Ohhhh a 1f coin from my country.
It is aluminum
Was not able to find any info for Canada 1996 reverse proof 1 cent. Perhaps an aftermarket colorization?
Interesting. I also couldn't find any info on it! Doesn't look after-market
@@Silverpicker Wow, could be something special.
$160 value just doesn't happen in a $60 box !! ... thanks for the editing
I am loving the grab bag videos
Thanks James!
Great video sharing 👍
Stay connected 👍
Did you use silver picker when buy this one
Treasure Town picked them up for the both of us
Hi I have a 1942 D penny how much is it worth
1 cent

Get you as red book, they have pretty much every U.S. currency and gives you a base rate off of the condition.
I'd say the best way to learn pricing is to look up the coins on eBay sold listings or get a hold of the Greysheets
big value nice slabbed coins i like the cheques and the sales tax tokins very nice grab bag
Thanks! I agree!
Grab bag battle 4! How long with this rivalry last?
We've got quite a few more!
I wanna buy that 1996 Canadian! It’s my birth year!!
I'll be selling it at my Whatnot auction! Sign up with my link! whatnot.com/invite/silverpicker
I'm confused why the quarter is worth over $50
it's because 1. it's a proof, and a insanely high grade. and 2. it's a deep cameo.
I have one centime américain to change
Pretty good grab bag, he is going to lose money if he keeps that up
Yep, can't possibly be the standard ones he sells
*Good stuff mate but also I felt let down for those 'filler' junks/ copies.*
Same, but overall a great grab bag!
😮
missing coins in a PROOF set - is a straight up RIP-OFF !! ..... you got scammed - HARD !!
Not nice what they sent with the so called silver proof set
If its not PCGS NGC or ANACS its not graded that grab bag was horrible and definitely not worth what you spent
nice ike
Thanks!

Disappointing for sure, but the rest of the grab bag made up for it!
