That's a very tough question. All the Characters are so brilliantly written, that at any given moment there's always something to love, laugh at, or identify with. Bearing that in mind, I'd have to say it's a tie between Michelle, Orla & Sister Michael for me. They consistently crack me up for various reasons. "Derry Girls" is already one of my All Time Favorite Shows EVER!
Dylan looked so confused throughout the whole video. His facial expression throughout the whole video is my favourite thing in the whole. Louisa was so funny with her little facial expression.
@@fullsizedwarf Dear God, they exist? I knew about putting zucchini in chocolate cake to make it less dry, but this? Screw it, Imma find the recipe online and try this.
I know it's mentioned a lot in the comments here but this makes you realise just what a phenomenal actress Nicola Coughlan is. When she gets into character as Claire she is so committed and in focus. She puts me in mind, in that respect, of Julia Sawalha when she was playing Saffy in Absolutely Fabulous - you watch any bloopers of that show and very rarely will she break out of character even when someone fluffs up or gets their lines wrong, Nicola's exactly the same here!
While I love the cast (especially Saoirse-Monica Jackson!), the one who really stands out to me is Louisa. Her character is underrated, and the fact that she is able to pull off a high-pitched voice while actually having a deep voice is remarkable. That being said, I like her personality and appearance. She is humble, not as talkative as the rest of the cast, is natural and has a unique style in clothing.
They are all special, but Louisa is extraordinary. There is a purity and absolute honesty to her acting with zero artifice, and her beauty matches that. I love her as Orla but I am also so excited to see all that she does in her future career.
@@HaggisIsGross If you are interested, she recorded an audiobook called "Tennis Lessons". It's on Audible. She's also currently appearing in The Deceived.
@@zylasneil3826 ...why do you think that?! Not at al the only one! And tbf, she's definitely given the "meatiest" part here, to show off her skills. But just check out Dylan's face after being given the dressing down about invading. He looks hurt and somehow also guilty!
Nicola getting completely into character is just brilliant. Similar to Aaron Paul getting into character during table read of Breaking Bad. The level of commitment is second to none. Top quality this
My absolute favourite series, characters of all time. You are all amazing, amazing actors. Have watched the series 7 times and laugh every single time. Love the humour and accents. Please make another series with ALL the same actors. Love from Cape Town ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Love this show! Jaimie Lee and Dylan as Michelle and James are great but really, they are playing themselves in the show . Nicola though, is so talented as Claire.
1:15 OMG this is for so far my fav chapter it makes me laugh so much! I love all the characters 💖 I feel like I have a piece of everyone in my personality 😂💞 I will be waiting for the season 3!
Oh my god, I know right? I wrote the same thing on reddit once. Don't you think Claire is like Simon? Erin like Will? Orla like Neil? And Michelle like Jay?
Who's your favourite character in Derry Girls?

Actress playing claire is AMAZING
Yeah she acts the same way in the show
She is perfect!
haha yes! Specially when she is drinking the glass of water like in the scene with energy drinks :)
Yunno shes 30
@@Olivia-wb7xl I think she's 27, she was born in 1993
My favourite part was Orla cracking up the whole time
Same 💖😂
she's definitely my favourite
Totally 😂😂
Louisa's enjoyment of everyone else was so dear!-- and she is so amazing!!!
"SWEETSUFFERINGJEEZUZITSTHEMORNINWHATAREWEGONNADO???" - sounds like a good alarm tone
“He’s in a better place now, unless he’s not”
You know.. incase he went to hell.. hahahaha i love orla
@@melxo5523 My favorite thing is in the show when she says 'hell', she points upwards.
Orla is lovable
A better place noyy!
Nicola got so into character just for the reading an I love it!
They way Nicola says "Sweet suffering Jesus" kills me everything!
Dylan looked so confused throughout the whole video. His facial expression throughout the whole video is my favourite thing in the whole. Louisa was so funny with her little facial expression.
to be fair James looks confused 90% of the show so he technically was in character
He was in character, I loved it
Orla, I couldn’t help but notice that your surname was shinnick... like me! What’re the chances, cos it’s a pretty rare one😂
Dylan is so cute
completely in character
Shows how strong the writing really is. Cast is stunningly good as well
1:00 watching nicola getting into character (clare) is actually brilliant
Nicola is just >>>>>>>>
shes so bloody talented
"What are we doing?
*long silence*
What ARE we doing?"

louisa absolutely losing it at every line is me watching derry girls 24/7
Nicola is insane. Love that she used the glass of water too
It really like waching that scene again 😁
How is this so much funnier live?? I feel like this would make a GREAT stage play!
Why’s no one talking about Michelle?!! She’s undoubtedly the best and funniest character!
They're all great for different reasons. Like onions and cakes. Can't make a good curry without an onion, can't have a good birthday without a cake.

Claire and Sister Michael exist.

Underrated line is James’ slightly sad ‘Why isn’t she smirking at me…?’
🤣
I like that Clare is always the responsible one and Nicola played the part really well.
God sweet suffering oh jesus theyre all great actors 🤣 cannot wait for season 3!
Still waiting for two here in the States
Nicola Coughlan giving EVERTHING at every moment is my jam
Nicola did not have to eat them all up like that.
She didn't. They were all amazing. She got to play a caffeine rush
Erin, Michelle and Claire haven't noticed Orla's been to the South and got herself a tan🌞
She's from the South.
@@mirzaahmed6589 The character not the actress..
This did not disappoint.
Sister Michael is a whole mood
Claire is the most talented in my opinion
Yep. This just proves how awesome the script is, and the actors. One of my favorite shows.

I can’t understand why all the Derry girls stuff is popping up in my feed now after watching it a year ago
Honey R Because the 2nd season just came out.
Only on Netflix, but it was already released elsewhere around March
Sally M. All 4
This is what it would look like if Derry Girls was a sitcom filmed in front of a studio audience
Claire is awesome, the actor
"What are we doin..?
What ARE we doin?"
🤣🤣 Love Orla!
Warching them all (but especially Nicola) become their characters is fascinating. I wish more content like this was available.
When Clare panics it sounds like she’s on helium 😭
God our lil ol town of Derry being popular, this will never not be weird
