  • This is a simple, quick and delicious way to make sweet potatoes.
    Sweet potatoes are a good source of vitamins A and C. They are also a good source of fiber. There is no need to boil the sweet potatoes prior to simmering them, you will boil out the nutrients.
    Ingredients:
    2 large sweet potatoes
    1/2 stick of butter
    1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    1 teaspoon allspice
    1/2 cup of packed light brown sugar
    1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
