Did you get the cap out before removing the db killer off? I m pulling with all my strenght and still i wasnt able to take it out :(. I was afraid of making any damage...... I was moving the whole bike but the DB Killer strong as a rock! Didnt move at all
@@proracing34_Athens yes i did remove the cap, i hope you did also before starting to grind haha. Its just 3 bolt and easy to remove. Then you gotta make sure you grind away all the welding otherwise it will be hard to pull it off, only the smallest bit of weld left and it will sit very strong. I did it in steps with some grinding then trying to pull and then more grinding if it didnt come out and just kept on doing that.
@@philipkarlsson1296 wow thank you for the info . I ve lost 2 kilos today pulling and pulling without doing anything!!! And I stopped when I started having thoughts of damaging the exhaust... Let me ask one more thing. If I take it out then it won't get back in right?
Sorry, let me see if I understood correctly. Do I need to remove the cap with the three screws to remove the DB killer, or should I just start hitting it until it loosens and then pull it out? Thank you."
Yes, first need to remove cap, and then you need to grind around 1mm. It is welded, so hitting in first place don't work. Grind slowly until you can see, that welding is gone and you can hit or pull out the killer.
Not really, some weeks after i went for service, where they fine tuned carburetor, but it went better- power and motor rhythm, (Better when i drove out from shop with Db killer) So no difference without any fine tuning with or without dB killer.
I have not plan to put it back, I will do it when i go yearly inspection and as it is quite tight, i will put that in and let it heat, so it expands and not coming out, After cool down i take it out again. If i need to put it back permanent i would drill hole and use one rivet from side.
Much appreciated 👍🏼
Did this yesterday and it worked perfectly, now it sounds amazing!
good to hear!

@@proracing34_Athens haha i can understand that! That is correct, if you do this you can not put it back, only with welding.
First you removed the end cap? or how did you get the silencer out?

Have you noticed a decrease in power or increased fuel consumption?

so how do you put it back in?
