Ranking ALL Baldur's Gate 3 Characters!!! (And the Companions Separately)

- I wanted to do a Baldur's Gate 3 tier list, so I ranked all the characters, and also did a smaller tier list for just the companions.

you've secretly been able to save minthara since early days by knocking her unconcious in the camp and then rescuing her at moonrise but there's lots of ridiculous things that happen if you do like she and halsin literally share the same tent at camp haha - it seems intended to be possible though because like she has lines for removing the shadow curse and everything 💁♀
Oh, that's really cool! I've started an evil run to get to know her, but I'll have to try out saving her on a good run!
I love Bernard so much(the robot from the arcane tower). My dark urge was the first time I tried out all the dialogue options, and when you cam ask for a hug my heart melted. You can tell so much about how lenore(the owner of the tower) struggled with her mental health from him.

Popper the kobold merchant who sells treatos at the circus is one of my favorite NPCs. No idea who voices him, but he cracks me up.
He's voiced by Dario Coates, who also voices Barcus and a bunch more characters
@@Mothmuppet I haven't seen a credit for Popper in any Dario's profiles. Do you have a source? Or maybe it was mentionned in an interview?
i think its a testament to how *good* this games writing is that you can look at this many characters and think "oh yeah you, you were pretty damn cool"
Or immediately recognize them and go "YOU. I WILL KILL YOU WITH HAMMERS."
just to let you know, maryna ends up having a character arc, so cool right? She sets up a hag survivors group in act 3 and you can help them out actually, effectively ending the hag's storyline. She even becomes a happy mother when she sends you the letter at the epilogue if you helped her! You can even convince her to move on from Connor, and honestly felt like she becomes such a strong person in the end
Putting Mystra and Raphael in you suck while putting Mizora in you’re so cool, is the peak of disrespect
Edit: Bhaal sucks ass too, if Mystra is a groomer then I don’t even know what Bhaal is

There is a lot of pretty privilege for the characters in this game.
I have killed a lot. Although to be fair, with the githyanki, they're all warriors, and it was on sight on their part.

I do love Rolan. I nearly had a heart attack when I was playing my first playthrough and I was doing a last minute explore before the raid on Moonrise, and I discovered that Rolan was almost completely looked over from being saved from the Shadowlands.
Just wanted to say, I love your bg3 content. You are doing God's work with your character analysis videos. I always look for this type of content when new fixation takes over my brain and your style is just perfect. Amazing takes, good quality and really nice voice (and fellow Astarion fan). You even covered durgetash! Hope to see more bg3 stuff in the future ❤
Honestly I think mayrina sucks I get she is grieving but she was willing to sell her child ( and I feel like she knew what she was doing really killing her child) basically run away from her family and got her brothers killed in the process and abandoning her mother to take her zombie husband to baldurs gate.
That's fair. She does seem clueless to me about how Ethel would really work though. To me it seemed more like Ethel was taking advantage of the situation, preying on her grief and insecurity as a new and now single mother. But deep down Mayrina knew it wasn't the right thing to do, that's why she up and left her family, not giving them the chance to really help or talk her out of it.
They did update Minthara finally so you can just knock her out instead of betraying the grove

I made this video when I had only finished the game like 1 time, and I have memory issues. adsfad I remember her now, and think she's very cool!

I made this tier list video when I'd only finished the game once. It's taken me another 2 play throughs to really remember a lot of these NPCS. Especially the ones that are in act 3 because there was just so much going on in that act.
The Mud Mephit is likely the one at the circus who can make a statue of anyone in the party. I requested a statue of naked Astarion. But damn, you didn't recognize Viconia, Sarevok, Korilla (Hope's sister), Mystic Carrion, or Bex/Danis? Wyll is now F tier for me. He's basically in a romance with his dad. His dad died, so he dumped my Tav so he could spend the rest of days thinking about him. Whatever.
I forget so many things, but seeing them again on a 2nd and 3rd play through is making it a lot easier to remember them.
You got dumped??? I've let Wyll's dad die in one play through, and Wyll decided to become the Blade of Avernus, and continued with his life. I wonder why the difference.
