Dude that late 2017 period when we were getting new day vs usos on smackdown and the bar vs the shield and the hardyz on raw felt like the resurgence of tag team wrestling in wwe, too bad it was short lived.
Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins had quite a few bangers in their short run as a team. Their match vs the Bar and again on Raw and their match vs McIntyre and Ziggler from HiaC 2018 spring to mind. 2018 was a quietly great year for tag team wrestling
UE vs Lorcan and Burch is still my favourite opener in Takeover history. Its so excellent. Oney turns in a masterful performance. Lorcan and Burch never getting a proper run with the belts (their only run constantly made them feel like afterthoughts) is one of the biggest missteps in NXTs otherwise glorious tag team history.
It's one of the many matches that make me think (and people will probably hate me for this) that Kyle/Roddy representing UE>Red Dragon, at least/especially when looking exclusively Kyle & Fish's NXT run.
I prefer thier match with AOP. It sold me on O'Reilly as a potential singles star and his selling manages to be hilarious while still seeming to look brutal is genius. Not to mention thier conflicting styles made for a more interesting and engaging match to me.
We need a *How Adam would book... WWEs Tag Team Division* where he has to save the tag division and form interesting matches and rivalries over the course of a calendar year.

I don't know if this counts but the Fatal-4-Way Tag Ladder match from Armageddon '06. While people always talk about the Joey Mercury moment, the match is one of my favorites but gets overshadowed by that one spot.
Angle and Benoit vs. Los Guerreros on a Smackdown during a European tour (2002, maybe) was an amazing match. The arena was small and poorly lit, but all four of them just went at it like a Wrestlemania main event. Super fast pace for nearly thirty minutes, trading finishers, everybody bumping and selling, just exactly what you want to see.
Aahet from classics from UE, I love War raiders vs Black and Richotche where they gets absolutely emotional send off from hot NXT crowd after having all time classic show opener. Very UNDERRATED Match showing mix of 4 styles specially when High flying god Rick does tag work with hard hitting black, that thing us a 'chef's kiss' 😘
I’m so glad you included Burch & Lorca vs Undisputed Era. That spot where O’Reily is in a cross face, but breaks Lorcan’s half crab on Fish by rolling over and repeatedly shortening Lorcan’s jaw with his foot,all while the crowd goes crazy is one of my favorite tag team spots ever.
Got to see UE vs. L&B at a nxt house show, and yeah it started with a meh who are these guys, and ended with an ovation so loud that Lorcan and Burch had to come back out of the back to take a bow
Lorcan & Burch vs. Undisputed Era was the first NXT match I watched, and what an introduction it was. 16 minutes, and it felt like it was moving at a dead sprint the whole match. It's a shame Lorcan got injured in that match, because I think he and Burch were primed for a bit of a push after that match.
A tag match that was so far ahead of it's time was the 2 out of 3 fall Jumping Bomb Angels vs The Glamour Girls in the late 80's title change . . . showed WWE fans what women can do long before the Divas Revolution . . . crowd really got into the JBA
Regal and Taylor's out-of-element powerhouse dynamic contrasted so well with the Hardys and London & Kendrick's more risk-taking styles. They were the best part of the match in my opinion.
I genuinely can't believe WWE had Taker and Cena in the ring competing in a tag match, then proceeded to never do the big money match. Also, a great underrated tag match I thought of was Ziggler/McIntyre vs Ambrose/Rollins at Hell in a Cell 2018. It's forgotten because of the horrendous HIAC ending, but there's some intense action. Great spot when McIntyre claymores Rollins in the middle of a falcon arrow sequence, allowing Dolph to get the pin.

Lorcan & Burch aka Brit Am Brawlers are a good tag team. Sure they barely have any personality and look generic, but man I love their wrestling style. Especially considering how almost everything is flips & kicks every 5 minutes.
Its quite recent but The Bar vs The Hardy Boyz in an iron man match at Great Balls of Fire 2017 was fantastic, very well booked match and Cesaro has one of my favourite tag team performances ever. Really great match

Yes! Lorcan and Birch vs UE was incredible. I was legit pissed at the crowd booing The BritAm Boys, but was so happy they were able to win them over.

I always reccomend TLC4 to people pirely for JR commentating is solo and what a great job he did. The match was brilliant too.
