This week, I explore some of the key themes from Hayley's journey (I also answer some of your questions) and invite you to reflect more deeply on some of these themes, as well as learn some ways to work with them more directly.

Yes, I was normalised into thinking I wasn't as bright as my younger brother.. and thinking about this it has had an affect on my adult life for many years; I used to think everyone could do things better than me.... until the past 10 years or so when my eyes have been opened wide to the reality..

She visibly perked up when you gave her concrete examples of how she actually is strong. That was awesome

Letting go of entrenched narratives about yourself is difficult. Harley was courageous about facing hers. It was difficult but she was determined regardless to see them. I so admired her.

I found this type of summarizing and reflecting episode very valuable! 🙏💫🌷 Helped me with kind of a closure, or a little separation anxiety from following Hayley’s journey, I didn’t want the episodes to end. Was about to hurry into another In Therapy-season like a substitute in a stressful way. But now when I watched this I feel more grounded, it helped me land and accept it ending. Primary feeling now is gratitude. 🦋

sorry for late reply danSandandEs . I forgot my password and couldn't log in to comment 😆 . Thank you for your thoughts ❤. I am so glad you are feeling more grounded . I really relate a lot to what you say about separation anxiety . It took me a while , after the therapy sessions, to feel grounded - i really missed everyone and it really discombobulated me - i was all over the place . I am more grounded now and the lessons i learned are sinking in more . Thank you for sharing - i totally understand what you mean- sending you love ❤

Thank you so much, Alex. Watching your therapy sessions with Hayley has added greatly to my experience with the RESET Program. Watching Hayley evolve under your careful guidance has given me such hope and inspiration. I am finishing the year in a much better place than I started. Sincere thanks.

    Thank you Alex .
Food as a reward from a Mother really can have such a big long lasting impact. At 44 I have just about cracked it. Those default habits still pop up from time to time. As a parent myself I can understand how food can be such an easy pacifier. I hope I didn't make the same mistakes x

Thank you so much Alex. These free sessions have been helping enormously in between appointments with my therapist. It is terrifying to put myself out there and ask for support. Your comments regarding the public reaction to Hayley's sessions has really stuck with me. There have been so many beautiful, supportive, understanding comments after each episode that it gives me hope that I will find some support too if I am brave enough to take the first steps. Merry Christmas to you, Hayley and all the team. Your work is so important!

The ability to say "Oh hell no!" to outrageous demands is a basic skill a lot of us haven't learned to deploy. We know it. We think it. But doing it is another thing.

    "Our Trauma makes us strong".
How about love; support and car? What would that have made us become? I bet you much "stronger" resilient and whole.
I'm sorry for anyone who had to be strong.
Yes we did survive, but what did survive actually? Our bodies, our biology. But our soul, our true self -as you like to call it- may or may never see the light, or what has left of it.
"We" didn't come up with survival mechanisms and strategies, when one is few weeks, months, years old, its the physiology that's doing the surviving on the expense of the essence, the true self.
