All these games seem pretty good, but the first is definitely my favourite. The second game looks nice enough, however the gameplay looks rather bland.

The first game has a much more interesting mechanic than the rest.
The first game is Wonder and so well polished. Imagine if it was released in 90s it would've wiped the market
Maybe, as it would of had to compete with either Metroid or Super Metroid... maybe some Contra too...
It would prob need a limited ammo source and regain half or all when you save a friend.

Based on their Fiverr pages the first game appears to have cost $25, the second $35, third $5, and last one is listed at $30. I would have to say #1 was easily the best investment.

Crazy that a skilled developer sells his craft for such a small prize. Even a hour worth of his time should cost more and the game wasn't made anywhere close to an hour(if he did, cudos).

The first game could end up being successful with proper funding and development. I love the idea of the recoil that launches you. Imagine that they added bosses, multiplayer, etc.

the third one was quite cool but a bit boring, also is horror game material

The first one definitely felt more varied and had more to it, compared to the others. Which, they DID do what they were requested, but the other 3 just looked...generic in a way? While the first had enemies with AI that would attack you, interesting level design, and the movement and gunplay had more personality to them(being able to move the gun in any direction, using recoil to jump/lift off the ground), as well as different types of guns to play with. I guess it just had more polish to it, compared to the others too.
and 2nd and 3rd only had copied graphics

@@Epochs33 ya,, I'd like to know how much the content creator spent for each on Fiverr. I've used the service and It can easily be from $5 to $100. Value is important to judge the results for me.
Yeah, this being the case of it being produced so quickly with great quality I’d love to have one of these video games made . I was just talking about having a video game made not too long ago .
You know the way these things are supposed to work is that you tell us how much they wore, and then rank them by price and your rating...

They were too embarassed about how cheap the wages were and felt like it they would come off as exploitative.
Worst to best games in that order (my opinion)
Game 4, game 2, game 3, and game 1
Game 2, game 4, game 3, game 1
This video failed to say if these games cost different prices. Like that first one is it 4x as expensive to have made? because it was clearly the most innovative.
I feel like the gun mechanics from the first game, with the gameplay and visuals from the third and the gun effects from the fourth one, combined, would make a great game.

All the games look cool and I definitely see them being played by everyone. The first game looked really cool and cute :3 The second game looked like it had some high-res textures. The third one looked really cinematic with those effects. The last one looks like a typical flash game. Good job!

Great video! The only thing I don't like is how the thumbnail are 3D games but no 3D game was featured in the video. Maybe something to keep in mind for the next one.

I love how limonado created him game for 10$ in his previous video where he didn’t even credited him and now created him a masterpeice again for only 30$ lmao. Limonado if you are reading this just grab his links and put it on your fiverr to show your work for youtuber and earn what you deserve big bucks

Last game was cleary made using Corgi Engine from the Unity Asset Store, that's ok, I mean I guess the first one used Corgi Engine too, the problem with the last one is that the developer used the demo assets provided by Corgi Engine not even worriyng to change at least the UI, basically he just put together some demo asset and sold the game not writing a single line of code
Same with the other games, they just used base assets and code included in the engines, you can tell that they just want to make a quick buck without much work
I mean thats what every under paid developer is going to do
Especially one that is also under skilled, and usually under paid means under skilled.
unity's particle system
The first one was made in GameMaker, not Unity.
it would make no sense to go above and beyond when you get about 20 $ to create a game from this guy who chooses some of the cheaper devs so he does not have to spend much which the person paying for the service makes back and then some from the youtube videos while also using clickbait to get more money ,sponsored either way is a lose lose situation most the time so why go above and beyond for less then 2 hours of wages ? its a mutual financial agreement no 1s going to send him the next great thing for 20 dollars but he knows he is earning money from these videos even if the games are not good quality

Honestly i love this concept of videos but i think you could do more with it. This video felt a little too similar to the last one. I think its mainly because of the game concept. they honestly felt the exact same. moving and shooting. i think next time do a more different style game like melee, tower deffense, survival etc.

You really expand on the first game with level designers, musicians, graphic designers and a little bit of story/lore and a general theme to it and bam its a winner
So basically what you are saying is that if he hired a whole gamedev studio and made a different game with story and lore it would be definitely be a winner? I'd think they would need at least one programmer on the team to make it really pop out you know.

No sane gamedev would want to participate in a game jam with the mindnumbingly generic theme of "platformer shooter".

The first one is sick! I mean if i see that on steam I would actually like to purchase it. So cool and fun to play. The other 3 are also nice but are not as polished as the first one.

Id like to see the difference in code quality and how feasible it is to build on top of the created project, or is it a spaghetti coded pile of garbage that can never be edited again without breaking half the game
1st game was the best generally.
2nd one has good animations.
3rd one has a unique vibe.

I think first one is the best game, could be more challenging if it have limited ammo like the 3rd game, so you don't spam it like no tomorrow. And when the ammo runs out, you'll be forced to use knife

If we make the first to have the third effect styles it would look awesome and it would have an arcade look.
When someone says "Platform Shooter" I think of something like MegaMan. But if someone says "Platformer but with guns," I definitely get the vibes of *Cute animal with murder weapons*

The first game is reminiscent of something you’d see in Scratch, but it obviously runs much smoother
The fourth game is literally the Corgi Engine asset from the unity asset store with some free assets pasted in. You can tell because of the coin, the bullets and the health bar

Wouldn't it be extremely nice to upgrade the specs for a multiple player scroller. It would be interesting to see if they can do the game too with a theme. You know like Halloween or Christmas or even another type of holiday (let the developer decide)

The first one was the best I mean it's fairly difficulty by the looks but it looks fun! Getting either health or weapon upgrades with different damage and fire rate or extra HP

The first one was a very polished game and had really unique shooter mechanics.
The second game was a bit bland but seemed like it had some decent mechanics.
The third one was a bit more unique, but the platforming seemed pretty bad. The character would just instantly stop when you let go of the key.
The fourth one had some neat art, and looked like a great starting point for a shooter.
In my opinion the firt one was the best, the creator had more creativity than the others

Regarding Game #1, that part where you can move up by shooting down - this gameplay element - it originally appeared in the MS-DOS game "Duke Nukem II".
You need the flame weapon to do it, though.
Flying with bullets was a great idea and it was fun.
Some of the sprites for the 3rd game were from a game on math playground named ninja frog

I wanted to build a game like the first one but with bow and arrow instead, therefore, limited recoil. So we could make chalenging plataformer parts. (gaining speed shooting behind, enlarge double jump shooting down in the right timing, etc)

In the 4th game, it's surprising to me that you didn't try to use some more game mechanics which might be possible, such as pressing "down" while standing on a pipe or hitting the bricks from the bottom with your head to see if they break or even reveal something. You know, that thing looks a lot like Super Mario Bros., so why not try all the things that are possible in that game?
