I'm not amazing at it but I'd absolutely love to help with the storymode, for free and all. I'm a bit of a writer and love to get into the gaming aspect of it. I don't have much finished work to show as I've been through some personal stuff the last two years which are finally settling down but I'm sure as hell motivated and pretty creative. I hope to speak to you one day!
Instead of just disappearing, have zombies leave blood spots, skeletons a pile of bones, that disappear after a few seconds. Some kind of corpse. Flame enemies should have charred corpses :-p. Ghosts should be immune to certain weapons. Trees should be able to catch on fire and damage enemies for bit before being removed.
Story mode suggestion- once you're doing your job as an FBI agent stopping the bomber exploding the airplane but you failed you become unconscious a for a while and waking up on a island enemies but you need to survive Is it ok I'm bad at writing things map island mode Is it ok
I would love if you made the zombie boss more detailed, I mean everything has similar sized pixels, and then theres this zombie with 1 pixel being the size of like 10 normal ones
I Have a little feedback to give here: Add some kind of texture for the sand, so it isn't just a solid color Add particles and camera shake/special effects when shooting, getting damage, dealing damage, etc... Add some kind of effect to show that the shoot actually deals damage, like some blinking red color when the enemy gets hit (sorry for the bad english i am not actually a fluent speaker)
suggestions: Sand should have more texture, this should make movement feel less isolated and be more aesthetically pleasing Boss should have some sort of ranged attack, a melee boss vs a shooter player is way too easy as is, some sort of ranged attack like three rocks that float in the air and then home after the player would be cool. this would happen every so often. Death animations and particle effects. Big boy just kinda vanishes, I feel he needs some more rewarding death animations. Lessen the damage on the flamethrower, as it is an AOE weapon, it shouldn’t tank like every other weapon. Give enemies a “on fire” particle effect and have them die like 3 seconds later, not immediately
5 suggestions: 1: a walking animation for the player + enimies 2: when a wave starts you can see it's visibly darker 3: a blood night (spawns are multiplied) 4: more building materials 5: better island look
- Sounds and weapon animation/effects. It would be nice to make firing the guns more satisfying. - An indicator when an enemy gets hit. Flashing red, a sound, knockback, etc. - Polish the graphics - Health bar and/or breaking animation for blocks - More animals and maybe a way to farm them.
In story mode, there should be acts. Each act is a different map. Each act last about 30 waves (your choice) and after you beat the boss on the last wave, there should be a cutscène, and then you go on to the next act.
Ideas - The boss sometimes stops and starts to throw 3,2 objects like trees or rocks - The boss drops something like wood,stone,some other stuff if dead - Add metal they are uncommon and are only found in beach. there strength is like rock thought much more powerful - Day and night cycle Idk if this has been added yet but ok.The dark is like dark but you can still see enemies and grass and stuff like that. and the only light emitting is from your character. light range is around 5 blocks. like the building mechanic - Caves. caves are structures made with rocks inside there's loots inside but it is guarded by enemies
I have some ideas for the game: 1.The flamethrower shoud be a special skill weapon its too op 2.Add sprint bar 3.Make some animations or particles when enemy or boss died 4.Add classes (some ideas down bellow) -Sprinter (moves faster but have weaker weapons) -Tank (has more HP can one hit kill with melee but have weaker weapons) 5.Events like full moon (enemies will be faster and deal more damage) 6.Giant Zombie should be faster Bosses: Skeleton king: -Has sworld which deals 1 heart damage -Has 2 HP insted of 3 Abilities: -Summons tones of week skeletons (died on one hit) -Randomaly spawns tombstone (block like wood) Ogre: -Slow -Has long range club -Has 3 HP Abilities: -Growling (slows down the player ) -He can hit the ground and destroy every blocks and deals 2 HP if player is close
Story mode: a backstory why we ended up on the island, and maybe a quest like saving other people from the zombies / adopting a wild chicken by offering them food, the chicken companion fights/picks on zombies and makes you temporarily op And maybe one could insert some messages / informations about the place to make it feel more ancient (and not like, build in 40 hours) Really nice so far!!
Idea for story you crash on an island and once you reach a certain wave (boss wave) you get a wrench which you can use to fix a boat on the edge of the map to bring you to the next island (maby a volcanic island) here you would get to choose a second gun and fight the boss (a giant lava monster) I'll let you come up with the rest
StoryMode: Szenario: zombie apocalypse. After your Wife cheated on you. You decide to start a new life in a new country. You get on a plane. But there was an infected on the plane. Everybody scream cause the zombie is eating a passanger. The co pilot comes out to check whats going on. Wrong move. The zombie rushes on the pilots infecting them. The plane crashes. You are the only survival.
You make it so that every few minutes, it will be nighttime which will last 1 or 2 minutes. More enemies will spawn, and maybe you could make it so that ghosts come out during this time! This will encourage players to use the building mechanic to build a base, and will thrill them with challenging gameplay!
Maybe for the multiplayer options, have two “sub-modes” to that as well? One option could be a two player option (So that’d be typical 1v1 PVP, and two-player endless mode), and another could be a four player option? (2v2 PVP, and four player endless mode)
Mobs suggestions: 1. Change the way skeletons move. Instead of charging the player like zombies do, make them try to flank the player by moving towards them from the left or right. You can also make some zombies follow the skeletons, so the horde will try to actively surround the player. 2. It would be nice to see a support monster, which does not attack the player but provides healing or speed boost to it's comrades. 3. You can add something like a catapult. If the catapult is closer to the enemy than the player is, the enemy will go to the catapult and launch itself onto the player's defences. This would make camping impossible.
Story mode idea: maybe every 10 waves there would be a boss, and after a boss is killed you would move on to the next map (also maybe make it a full Steam release if possible)
Maybe different zombie types. You could also add obstacles that can hurt you. Like toxic waste (that’s for some reason on the island) that hurts you but when a zombie steps in it, it turns the zombie into a acid spitting zombie, also maybe make it where the fire from the flamethrower sets the zombies on fire. Maybe guns run out of ammo and it spawns on the map. I think it would give players more of a reason to move around the map. Idk if any of these ideas are good but there what came to mind lol.
@@guiii0696 that could be cool. Tbh there's a lot of ideas you could realistically add but whether they fit with that level will be a different story. I do like the toxic waste idea. However it got implemented if it does.
Maybe you could have events that spawn items across the map to discourage camp-y play styles, like a meteor that crashes near one of the borders that has strong resources to harvest and use for base building or crafting.
Honestly a visual update would be a good idea. Adding some particles when Zombies are hit would make the kills more satisfying, likewise the buildings having a visual of taking damage and eventually breaking would look good. I'd also suggest making the floor look more like samd as at the moment it just looks like a yellow void.
For story mode: He crashed from a plane and washed up on an island with only a gun and a working radio,from the radio you hear a voice saying that someone is coming to save you but you have to defend the waves (you decide how many but I suggest 60 waves for the 6 different types of enemies. Different bosses per 10th wave) until the ship arrives
Wow, your videos motivated me to return back to learning game development, I'm a full time web developer but I always wanted to work on games, seeing you implement all of these interesting mechanics is like a spark to my little dream
Maybe add some more bosses every 10 waves and eventually it loops back around to the first boss, but buffed, and it keeps going like that, looping and buffing. In Story Mode, you would only fight each boss once. For clarity: Basically, have like 5 or so bosses, and after all 5 are used, it uses a buffed version of Boss 1, then buffed version of Boss 2, and so on.
I think that making the bullets a bit more visible and maybe different depending on each gun would be cool. Because right now it is kind of hard to see them. (I am colorblind, which may effect that but I think it would be good none-the-less.)
For Story Mode you could make horizontally long levels where you make your way from left to right, scavenging materials from Ruined buildings and surviving hordes of zombies. The end of each level could be capped by different objectives like surviving a massive wave. Transitioning to different biomes could be through a boat at the end of each level. And each level could have their own unique enemies. Edit: Also if you need a pixel artist for any new assets you'd want to add to the game, I'd be happy to come up with some for you.
i think it would be cool if you expand on the fighting system, like adding more melee and make it more interesting to use(like moving your cursor to swing the weapon and deal damage)
Story Mode suggestion: You've been deployed to an island and later after a few message pickups you find out it's a setup and are stranded option to make a temporary base with the materials you find or you can explore the island and find its dark secrets and the reason you were placed and deserted there. Eventually, a team of island explorers finds you (bot cutscene). The ship sets off home but something in the water pokes a hole into the gas container and the ship explodes. You and 2 others out of 6 (bots) are able to jump off before the kaboom. You blackout in the water and you dry up on another island but something is different about the island. just seems a bit fake ... (your choice on whats next)
Here are some ideas I've got. 1. Add shields and/or armor that reduces/block incoming damage. 2. Maybe throw in some healing items. 3. Monster traps. These can harm and/or slow monsters
Tower defence mode: you put towers such as a knight an archer or any other ones the king must be defended once the castle breaks he can defend himself a little bit but he’s weak so he can die in 2 hits and if the king dies you lose and another suggestion I have is PVP mode (not the one you just said) where both players can spawn any hostile enemy and try to get their castle or in the tunnel which both areas will have a health bar the one with the most hits again can defend themselves but this time the zombies are a bit faster so that if the castle falls and the player is running they can get the player and kill them also add extra 2 tower bots to make it more interesting
my idea of story mod is like you can swich between 3 chars : pistol / shotgun and uzi and when one die you swich to another and you need to save a town from the zombies and at the end you fight the zombie lord that created every single monsters Also you can make in multiplayer so you can choose your class of gun or maybe buy them at the multiplayer store in the multiplayer menu
You should make ammo for the weapons and monsters will drop ammo sometimes. The boss will be the progression of weapons in endless mode that when dies, will drop a weapon. The zombie boss will reappear (doesn’t have to be a zombie still) and will get stronger with new abilities (like throwing a couple of zombies at you etc) the ammo th at you pick up will vary depending on the gun you are holding. the pistol will have the highest ammo while the shotgun prob will have the least. You should also make the gun sometimes jam, and also the aiming a little off(since there is recoil) and stamina so the player can only sprint so much(recovers when not moving or when eat chicken) for story modes you should make it such that on some levels, you have a goal to complete like (protect the civilian) where if you win, you get the civilian as an ally, or a harder one (only kill zombies) etc. Then the final boss will be the one that unlocks the other modes or somethifn. Also add skin costumisation! Add a like poison noght kind of like in Stardew Valley caves where spawns are multipled If you add a night map for ghost and lava monsters, also add bats that are one shot but less predictable Guys like this so @BadGameDev can see it!!!
I feel like you could make a boss version of all the enemies with each of them having strengths and weaknesses like a ghost boss could have it's abilities but it has a little less health and a Titan Zombies boss would be very slow but take a ton of hits to kill and would be able to launch enemies to you.

why is nobody talking about story mode story mode suggestions: 1. the main protaginist (us) would be going on boat ride till we crash into the island 2. we would find a map that shows the island that will be the main map 3.level 1 should be sandy isle becuase most first levels of games have isle 4.there should be short zombies that we stomp on to kill 5. normal zombies that when we kill theyre back falls off and we can throw it at another zombie to kill it 6. the end should be a BIG tree thats it
I think you should make it so that in story mode you survive a certain amount of waves, and then the boss comes, if you defeat him you go to the next level (you could add a cutscene here if you wanted). Each level the bosses and enemys would get harder, and each level will add a new type of enemy ot the already existing ones, as well as the old ones from the last level being there too. Maybe you could add new materials for each level.
You should add a creative mode! Like you have all the blocks, you can toggle mob fights, and you can place rocks and trees and upload your maps to the internet/steam workshop. Also, modding capabilities would be awsome
You should make a level system where you can get EXP from enemies and every time you level up you can pick abilites from a skill tree. And you can pick abilites like, "+1 damage" or "+1 HP".
no one will se this but i have a rough plan for story mode 1 the island: the game starts with some exposition telling you about the rise of monsters for an unknown reason ten tells how you are on a plane to escape monters when a hurricanr hits and the plane crashess on an island and you are left to survive untill you make a raft to leave there are 3 bosses on the island 1 the big sombie who drops rope and twine (for raft) the the skeleton who har a big tree as a club wich you neet to get( for raft) and the last one is a new special boss the island king tho has a cape that you need for a sail, once you beat all three bosses you get some exposition about the raft and what you are doin (going to find what caused the monsters) wich leads tou to a mansion/castle thing with a more liniar playstyle where you clear rooms for food and weapons here you find the shotgun and sniper and the spear( a waepon that can be thrown or swung [must retreive after throw] and can peice enamys) you fight 3 mob types, the ghost , haunted armor, and bandits here to raid the mansion for materials(armour is tough to kill and bandits can use the base pistol but die in one shot. there is only one masion boss and thats the mansion itself who attacks you when you find the info you beat it and set off to destroy the source the scorce is a volcano and you need to blow it up (you get uzi and flamethrower here) and you need to set up explosion first so you fight lava mosters and rock golems until you plant explosives thn you hold fort in the last battle as you use blcks to protect the explosives and fight off all the enamys that youve met so far in hordes even regulaly spawning big zombies and skeletons (by the final battle you get rocket launcher) the bomb finally goes off and you save the world iff you want to talk ill put my discord here: discord.gg/cG4qw7hD
Hi. I love this game, but I have some ideas for the game. 1. I think the other map with the lava monster and the ghost could be a halloween theme, or a grave yard. Maybe you could mine the grave stones for stone? 2. Maybe when the zombie boss is killed, it could spawn 50 zombies, or a bow and arrow. 3. There could be a different boss in each map. 4. Maybe you could add more variants to a skeleton or something. It seems like there are more zombie variants, and less other variants. 5. new enemy ideas are: spider mummy (they never get enough love) witch devil-thing 6. maybe a way to make armor, or a shield, or like a force field that lasts a few seconds at a time 7. CUSTOMIZEABLE SKINS
In the story you can say is that you were a soldier and your task was to help people get out of the desert but your helicopter crashed and you survived or you can add a friend too in the game and that friend will have the ai to follow you
I have some ideas for another update: Add more pixels and detail to the boss zombie, Add death animations to the zombies and enemies, Maybe add a crafting system for the new weapons?
You should use some pixel font, add screen shake when shooting from guns, particles for breaking wood and stabbing zombies (blood particles), screen shake when boss is rushing at u, giant blood explosion when boss is defeated, maybe some vignette?, flame thrower should ignite zombies trees and ur own base (zombies would take damage over time when ignited and have a chance to put out themselves) And ofc sound effects because this game has some cool mechanics but it doesn't have any feedback for what r u doing. Players won't be satisfied with shooting boss if he will just dissappear. I know it's still in development and making games is not easy (I made some games myself) and sometimes you won't understand why players really like something u think is boring but that is just a part of learning. You should add a spider enemy that has a chance of bursting into smaller spiders when you kill it unless you use the flamethrower, Edit: Also, speaking of the flamethrower, it should be able to burn down planks and trees, destroying your structures but also damaging enemies that come into contact with the flaming wood
heres an idea, a new enemy, the corruptions, zombies and other enemies attack it but if the corruption kills anything the killed become corrupted with the abrochutes of the corrupted enemie, and yes, there will be a boss corruption. infact, the 1st one you ever see is a boss one.
An idea for story mode: the guy is on a ship. a monster attacks it. He derives to the shore of the island and finds the axe of an ancient survivor. I'll continue later.
Add more building stuff!! And visible bullets, it just looks weird ngl, also the yellow background, maybe add some vegetation, some flowers, bushes, grass... and the boss, when someone says "zombie boss" i imagine... the big fat nasty zombie
Suggesstion: Techno map There should be a techno map in the game. This map would have three types of eneimes, the robo-man, a replica of the player in robot form, it would have no notable affects and just be the defult enemt for this stage. Next should be the drone enemy, it would not be damaged by melee attacks and could only be hit with ranged attacks. The third enemy for this map should be the malfuncioning robot, it would be a damaged version of the robo-man enemy that explodes when near the player. The boss of this map would be the scrapper, this robot would have a track and two large welders for arms, using them too attack the player. This boss could also use its arms to repair itself, gaining health and have the ability to turn junk-piles around the map into maltfunctioning robots. The stand in for trees in this map would be holograms, holographic blocks are dropped from these, they allow the player to walk through but must be destroyed by eneimes. The stand in for hills in this map would be junk piles, breaking junk piles gives you trash cubes to build with. This maps weapon would be the lazer gun, it would need time to charge up but when it does it fires in a straight line for an entire second dealing massive damage to hostiles in its path.
(Srry for bad english im not american or british)The history: chapter 1:You are in a militar boat heading toward the island after every one died without a reason after you reach the island the boss throws a giant rock in your boat and it sinks so you swin to the island and find out everyone became zombies and now you have to survive, after defeat the boss you head towards a vulcanic cave (bcs yes). Chapter 2 the cave: after you enter the cave you find a bunch of lava zombies and a big magma boss this is where you find the shotgun from another guy who died. Chapter 3 the dead town: you find a portal in the cave and you decide to enter it now u are in a place with Ghosts you discover that this place is another island that the portal teleported u to and you find a mansion after u enter the mansion you find a uzi from the owner who died and u doscovers he was the mayor of town using the uzi u fight the boss the Reaper Chapter 4 the island (again):this time u pass through the portal again and go bacm to the cave after u leave the cave u go to the island kill every remaining zombie and wait for a helicopter arrive Obs: u will get the flamethrower after kill the 2 boss bcs yes And the sniper u get after kill the 1 boss each chapter is 30 waves credits for cattymations for giving me the ideas of chapters and waves You can change a little if you want:)
idea for story mode : you're a navigator and explorer and you reach this island, that will have like 5-6 different areas/biomes. and you're in search of an ancient relic. the point of the game is to reach the ruins area where the relic is and defeat the final boss as fast as possible, it would have a pretty simple crafting system, nothing too flashy. you could go straight to the final boss after starting the game by finding a secret cave instead of doing the entire story that would ask you to complete a couple quests. however the shortcut to the end would be for Hardcore players that only want the best finish time, as the final boss would require you to be a genius at avoiding projectiles and stuff like that. idk I just had the idea
Maybe you could make a T-Rex skeleton boss in story mode that spawns every 5 waves, at first it is easy to defeat but later it gets harder and harder to kill. At first it can only destroy wood, then trees at wave 10, then stone at wave 20. It is too big to pass through a 1 or 2 block wide gap, but it can pass through a 3 block wide gap. Whenever it appears only skeletons hould spawn. It should have the most hearts and the most damage of any monster. At wave 15 it will shoot bones from it mouth so you can't just camp and shoot it from the safety of your stone fortress. You could alo add a taser or a potion bottle where you can stun enemies for a short period of time, but it doesn't work on the T-Rex. You don't defeat the T-Rex skeleton boss until wave 20. When the boss is defeated before wave 20 it just goes into the ground to fight another day. The goal is to defeat the Rex because that is what is causing the monsters to spawn.
For the story you could have some levels that are 10 rounds each and you're trying to get home but you need a boat and on the 10th round of all of the story mode you get a part for the boat and when you get all the parts there will be 1 more round where there will be all of the bosses you just faced coming one by one on each round but if there were 4 ( not including this one )levels for story mode there would be 5 rounds on the last level because on the 5th round you would face all of the bosses at once but they were weaker but you could also run to the boat instead without facing all the bosses but then some enemies will have snuck on and you will basically instantly die but you can fight back and try kill them but its almost impossible and you can choose what happens if you do kill all the enemies on the boat, but if you did kill all the bosses you would just get home
no.1 Can you add surviver to the game or like pet like a dog which will help you fighting the monster. No.2 can you add a map were you are on a raft in the middle of sea and monster like stray or even zombie shark! No.3 Can you add things like boxs that had resources? (You don't have to add all of these)
When I watched you making this game I thought maybe waves are just survived but the enemies don't disappear. Maybe they lose interest for a little bit. For your big boss now, my first thought is projectiles, but it's not the lava guy so what would be the projectile; how about they throw baby zombies at you! That way if you dodge they can still come after you.
You should add placeable weapons, like cannons that shoot the enemies. And you could craft it with a lot of wood, stone, and any other blocks you might add.
Ok. so he finds the axe and takes it. He walks farther and finds the HOME of the ancient survivor. He goes in there and finds the pickaxe. He also finds a map to the pistol. He goes find it. It is a long way there. So, the player has to build a little base and find food. (Also add a mechanic to light a fire and put animals in the forest for the player to kill and eat). The next day, he sets back on his trip. There, He meets zombies. The player has to kill them (obviously). When he arrives th the place where the pistol is hidden, he takes it. But as soon as he does that, The giant zombie boss comes th attack him. When you kill him, You have to go back to the base. [Also, add more new zombies like an alarmer zombie or one that explodes]. Back home, The player sees zombies staacking up his house. He flees or kills them all. He has to build a new house WITH DEFENSES (spikes, shields or even automatic weapons! [but leave that for later]. Then the survival starts. Add more maps and throughout his quest, the player will find all guns. Ending: The player goes into a very foggy creek. He is hearing lots of noises. Then, suddenly, He sees the monster that attacked his ship. He defeats it and finds a pretty good ship. He sails it to his motherland. End. Thanks.
Some small=bigger ideas that could improve the game: 1 I would love if you added walking animation. Just have legs rotate to left and right a bit. It would add much more depth to the game. 2 You should add magazine and reload mechanic- Just have Ammo bar left to the hotbar, make reloading time and ammo unique to every gun. Small question: Are you still using the art you had to use on the game jam? 3 What about making enemies taking damage more visual just add parts of the blood effect and maybe make their model get darker for a short time. Little "wilder" ideas: 4 You could add upgrading system. A: add an inventory where you can swap items in hotbar. B: Make trees drop logs instead off walls and same with stone. C: Implement crafting- You can choose what to craft, it would take some time: Let's say trees would drop 2-4 logs and stone would drop 1-3, making a wall would cost: 2 material for 3 walls. Enemies could drop items when killed with some special like iron,scrap,cogs . Other weapons should be craftable and you could also upgrade the axe, pickaxe and upgrade your gun stats(firerate, magazine, reload time) crafting and upgrading should take some time New weapon ideas : Bow- very slow firerate but deals konockback and can be upgraded into crossbow, Boomerang- Works like boomerang with also 15% stun chance Flamethrower should burn enemies maing them take damage over time. New enviroment: Water: Enemies and the player can't walk in but you can shoot through it, land near trees should be grass. Zombies should sometimes walk little to right and left to make it harder to hit them. The character could hold weapons in the hand. Switching to another one when aiming at the other side. That's all I can think off what could be possibly added and add great elements and improve gameplay.
New boss and enemy ideas: The Plague Dr. He has 3 hearts like the giant zombie but his attacks are: Poison blast: shoots poison that deals 1 damage Poison zone: makes a zone of poison that deals 1 damage Dark King: Has 5 hearts but he has these abilities: Disarming: You can't use weapons for 2.5 Seconds. Loyal Knights: Dark Knights will attack you just keep a range and your good. Phase 2: at 1 heart he enters phase 2 Abilities unlocked: Shadow Travel: Randomly Teleports to you and gets a 1 heart strength boost for 3.5 seconds.
this game has unlimited bullets so add a small amount of ammo to guns, and a random helicopter that came for your help but crashed and it contained the ammo for the guns so the player will have to look for helicopter crases and get the ammo to survive the game that will make it more amazing
My idea for the story (the classic): you were on a ship, the ship crashed onto the island, you're the only survivor. As you progress on the beach, you "find" new weapons in the sand that came from the ship. On the next level you find a small shrine whith a prophecy about a rando (you) who will save the natives from monsters. The next level could be some ruins with some trivia on how the monsters came to be and attacked the people (some curse or whatever that wouldn't require too much explaining). Then, something in between, maybe more trivia about current levels. And the last one could be that the player has to actively protect people in a village. In order to win, you need to save, let's say, at least half of the population and everyone on a potential harder difficulty.
Animations. I think it will be cool to give the guns animations. Or a walking animation for the player or enemies. And generated buildings like a cabin or a camp so you can find and get new weapons and stuff. And a crafting system for story and endless mode. Where you craft better guns and armor.
Game mode idea: creative mode - Creative mode let’s you create anything you want including adding blocks from the game. You could also post maps in the map creations and play them. Idea: In story mode, make it like you’re not the only one surviving on the island, make it look like when you discover somebody, they will fight for you Idea: When you add more bosses, add new boss called skeleboss. It could fire projectiles (arrows) at you and you will have to dodge them Idea: When you defeat a boss, you earn a special reward Idea: If you want, add a new enemy on the new islands called grim reaper. It could summon to at least 3 enemies and make the fight even harder (make sure you put a limit to these things :) ).
I have a few suggestions 1. Add a background (if possible) the plain beige is a bit boring, but i don't know if adding a background is possible with the textures given 2. Music 3. Make killing enemies more satisfying (i.e. screen shake, sound effects particle effects etc.)
Add bodyguards where you can hire by giving them a certain number of recourses. You can also add multi player where every group of 5-10 people help each other to survive. Add a chat for the multi player group (make sure they have labels of some sort) to help people communicate. Try adding horses ( or camel since it is a island) where you can tame them with a grass pile. You can then ride them to be faster. Might want to add tribe people who will use a bow and arrow or spears to kill other enemies (they might also attack you). Also try adding roles such as medic (who heal people who have lost health), engineer (build turrets around the map to auto attack enemies), and Protector (has a shield to protect other players). Add a custom gamemode, create maps, customize enemies, amount of waves, beggining weapons, create new enemies, simple and advanced enemy sprite creator, edit size, speed, strength, and health, create custom abilitys for the enemies, create new weapons, etc. 2nd suggestion: new food items, cooked food items 3rd suggestion: GORE, can be toggled in the settings 4th suggestion: a 3D version of the game (if you don't know how to make 3D games then it oke you no have to make) 5th suggestion: a hunger system
I think you add waves till wave 50. But new enemy’s the enemy’s are Crawlers they can grab you but u cant shoot while the grab you then they bring you to the strongest enemy next enemy skin stealer tall figure that steals ur skin when you touch it for 3 seconds and has good speed and organ mass organ pile that has hands sticking out and is boss it can suck you in dealing 1 heart and messing up ur controls for 10 seconds it can get it’s hp from being near you every 5 seconds that’s the boss on wave 50 it can summon the boss on wave 10 (10% chance and 90 % of crawlers / skin stealers it also has 5 hearts but you also can gain 1 heart from killing bosses more enemy ideas are organs they can summon skin stealers and crawlers next is brain it can make u move wrongly that’s all it can do it. But on wave 30 the brain mass can control you to go into it and dealing 1 in a half damage and has 4 hearts can summon brains also can jump very high dealing 2 hearts it’s good idea right? (New mode idea : Blood moon it doubles the amount of enemy’s on each wave (including bosses) best for multiplayer)

Neat additions made to the game, though the weapons aren't that optimized. I feel like it would be better if there was some more depth to it like skeletons being immune to the flamethrower or putting in a clip/reload mechanism to balance their use and make each feel more unique. Either way great work
I think you need to change some stuff: - weaponry. the sniper would be great if it pierced enemies, the flame thrower should just use a status effect instead of dealing massive damage, the shotgun should have short range and the bullets should be much less accurate and the uzi should deal less damage per bullet. Maybe add an ammo system where each weapon has different ammo. - enemies. You need more varied enemies, Ranged enemies, static enemies etc - There should be breaks between waves and a more complicated building system, maybe have the player be able to create many blocks and mix up different building materials to make them. - Boss fight. The boss seems ok but there are some fundamental issues. It needs to be able to have loads of weak zombies spawning in next to it rather then just a couple normal ones, so the boss is chaotic and fun, and the attack where the boss spawns in enemies shouldn’t be the same as the charge. also it would be great to see some lighting change during the boss fight, and the boss hp bar going down gradually
with the story mode reckon the story of the game should be that, after the player is on a cruise ship with his family, which was directed to stop at an island by a strange transmission stating that there where rough seas ahead. The ship crashes into a rock of shore and the player is the only survivor. The player looks for his family but cannot find him on the ship not wanting to give up he takes a fire axe and a pistol to survive from the ship he waits till night fall until zombies emerge from the ground he (this will be the first few encounters) after finding a piece of paper found on a zombie who was a scientist before being zombified. The note states that the facility has begun evacuation procedures and the note contains co-ordinates to the facility. After arriving the player will fight a wave of zombies including the zombie boss to get a key. They will enter the facility through a large door (in the facility a possible enemy could be robots along with zombies) after fighting through the facility and beating a large malfunctioning robot they will find an outpost with many scientists (they all are cowering) after asking around the scientists tell him that after accidentally opening a rift in time through a bomb test a girl with black hair came out of the rift and after she saw a scientist violently experimenting on a native chicken she lashes out and forced the scientists to give her humans or she would kill the scientists and that's why they called the cruise ship(she needed humans to create an army of zombies). The player will then ask where the girl is now and the scientists will reply that she has gone back through the rift into her home world. The player finds out that many have tried to follow her but all have died but the scientists do know that to get to her home world you need to cross through a dangerous alternate reality of earth where everything has been destroyed by nuclear bombs(this is where ghosts and skeletons are introduced). You go through the portal and need to fight for a few waves for a high energy gun you got from the scientists to charge so you can open another portal to the girls home world. After doing so the player enters a hellish world(this where lava monsters are introduced) after fighting through a gauntlet you find the girl, she tells you she created all including humans and she did it so peace could be achieved because humans must end as there violence is unacceptable and we as a species must be extinguished to achieve her goal true peace across all dimensions ( the girl will transform into a demon and the boss fight will begin). After killing the girl an energy rift opens which sends you back to earth. All zombies turn back to humans, the scientists thankyou and you meet back up with your family. I hope you liked my story idea and I hope your game goes well
This game has alot of potential especially the multiple islands idea you talked about and I think you could do somthing pretty cool with it my idea is when you go to a different island there's a boss battle on the island. Each boss fight could be different from eachother. This idea is pretty cool because you can take this idea anywhere maybe you could have the bosses drop loot to help you in combat or you make it so you have to kill the bosses to fight the final boss or you could have both.
Hey, what about that the story mode started with you being a crew member in a ship. Then it gets attacked by some pirates and all your mates get captured and then tortured. Because you're busy with now dying and shooting pirates, you end up in a cursed island. That gives an explination and why you're on an island and also why there are zombies and skeletons and shit. Then you go through the island, going horde after horde, until you defeat the boss of this map. You take all of the wood (maybe make so the tress can grow fruit so you could survive) and build a raft. No idea what to put next but at the final after finishing a map. A boat finds you, who happen to take you in like a middle place between home and where the pirates are. You either go back home, and tell the story, or you go and find the pirates to save as many as your mates. How that end i think should be up to you!
I have a very small and simple quality of life suggestion that I think would help the game "feel". Just add a small "dark-blueish filter" while waves are active, to simulate a "night/day" cycle. It would make thematic sense to have it be "night" while the undead are coming, and switching to day after you kill the wave or when the wave-time is up. It would also serve as a nice visual queue to let players know what's going on, since sometimes you can have a zombie stuck somewhere and not really realize it.
I have an idea for story. you have to kill one or two waves of zombies and then fight a mini boss. The mini bosses are basically just the enemies but a bit stronger and they show up at the very end of the wave. The game was split up into 15 levels and every five levels you would have to fight a boss which had to be hit 20 times at the first fight 30 times at the second fight and for the final boss you need to hit him 45 times. every boss would also have a different selection of abilities, for example one of the abilities can be a stun. it should also have different modes. I want to be included OK?
I have a story for story mode:📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚 The game starts similar to Aground, where there is a huge storm and you are washed up on a sandy island. you soon find the island was overrun with monsters such as zombies and skeletons! after a few waves, you recognize a zombie you killed. It was one of your friends before the storm! Then, after another wave, you find a second survivor, an NPC! The NPC gives you side quests such as kill 100 zombies or build 100 stone blocks, but the NPC also gives you a MAIN QUEST! it is to journey to the cave somewhere on the island, and you get there eventually, which is where you fight the zombie boss. Then in the cave, the game is similar but with different enemies such as the ghost or lava monster, and you also have new weapons, blocks, and items, because trees cant grow down there. after a few waves, you find out more about the storm and life before the storm, and hwo the zombie plague was created and Cthulhu along with it, who created the storm. The storm had wiped out humanity and flooded most of the world, except for a few islands like the one you are on. You find out that this island used to be Mount Everest! The NPC finds you and tells you to continue down the cave, where after a few more waves you find the second boss, a giant rock golem. You continue and find an underground lake, but it is actually the entrance to the ocean, and you get a waterproof suit. the next area is completely underwater and there are cool new aspects to the game. Until finally, you reach the final boss. It is Cthulhu, and it has two forms, first with the Kraken, then Cthulhu. You beat it and find a submarine at the end. The game finishes with you heading off into the unknown with your submarine. This can be edited and lots of things can go into more detail. That's it! TheWERTmaster
I think it would be cool if there was an ammo system. Like each gun has its own ammunition and once that weapon runs out of ammo, you can't use it again until you find or craft more ammo for it. Maybe the pistol would have infinite ammo, so if all of the other guns run out you can go back it the basic weapon, but also maybe not because the melee weapons are always available. It would give a real incentive to do melee kills in order to conserve ammo, And it would naturally balance the better weapons (like the shotgun and flame thrower) if they used ammo faster or if the ammo costs more recourses to make. (If you really wanna put some DOOM vibes into the game, you could make it so melee kills have a chance for enemies to spawn ammo on death, really put the player into risk/reward situations.)
I have a few suggestions to upgrade the boss 1:instead if looking like the zombie but big it should be the strong zombie but big 2:it should be able to slam the ground to rocks at you 3:it should have a roar ability that attracts the attention of all zombie enemies on the board to attack

You should add structures, like cabins, that would contain loot and be a shelter for enemies. Edit: Also add an inventory, and a crafting system, you could also add more rescorces and blocks like barbed wire as a block and clay as a material.
Suggestion: In Wave 50 Make The Big Lava Boss (5 Hearts And Another Map) And Add Armor Which Gives Light Blue Hearts (Max 3) And Last Thing. The God. Appears On Wave 250. 15 Hearts 10 Durability.
I have an idea for a new mode: “cat and mouse”. Basically it’s like endless mode with one exception, there’s one new enemy ‘the cat’. Basically the cat is an enemy who can’t be killed, but has a limited range of sight. It’d be slightly faster then skeletons and would have the boss’s rush ability. For a design, I think a black recolor of the ghost with green eyes would look good
This is a quick blat out of ideas for story mode 1. Learn how you got there. 2. Learn why there are zombies. 3. Fieger out how the skeletons live and move. 4. Learn how magic exists.
for story mode you should add lvl and the first lvl you will have a human friend and the second lvl the friend will say “I’m going to find some stuff be right back” and the 7 more wave will be just like endless mode and the last lvl you should add the corrupted version of the human friend from the first lvl and you have to fight your friend and when you defeat your friend it will be a cutscene witch you will see the memories of you and your friend when you and your friend is a kid having fun
I have a suggetion that i think would make the game even better: Weapon: While using the flamethower you should make it that the fire can destroy trees and wood, so its kinda a bit more realistic Story mode: This isnt really a suggetion but more of an idea for the story mode, So our main character (lets call them "B") was a hunter and one day B heard of this deserted island and B thought that it was just a normal island that B could use to hunt some animals, But what B didint know is that this place is full of monsters. After defeating the boss B gonna find a boat/or a portal that takes B into a new difrent islan (and i think that new island could be a haunted island where you could put the ghost and lava monster ) i'll add more when i had more idea ^-^
I can think of 4 Story Mode maps Endless Mode should probably have a choice of which map you're playing on The Maps are: 1. Deserted Island (Enemies: Zombie(often), Ghost(rarely), and Skeleton(mid)) 2. Mysterious Station (Enemies: Skeleton(often), Little Zombie(rarely), Big Zombie(mid) and Zombie(often)) 3. Ghost House (Enemies: Mostly the Ghost, everything else should rarely spawn) 4. Lava Pit (Enemies: Lava Monster(often), Ghost(mid), and Big Zombie(rarely)) I think there should be chests in the chunks of materials, from which you can get the other weapons otherwise you are stuck with the pistol and axe The boss(es) should be a random enemy from the game, but stronger and with an additional attack (like the charge for the Zombie boss) Maybe make different variations of the enemies? (Example: Molten Zombie, Ice Zombie, Ball 'n Chain Zombie(a spiky ball spins around the zombie deflecting bullets)) Also i got an idea for a enemy mechanic (you can come up with the enemy name lol): at set intervals, the enemy will teleport to a different side of the player, if it is close enough.

Ideas 1. Add a pet that can help you in battle, a way of doing this is a pet will spawn at a very low chance and you have to get an item to tame it, kill a skeleton for a bone to give to a dog to help you in battle or give you a buff. 2. Add close range weapons for close up battle like an axe, sword, knife, ect. 3. Add ways to get more health, like after defeating a boss you get a new heart. 4.Give the game a bit more detail, for a better gameplay. 5. Add many ways to get more food, like a pond for fishing (could also be used to get a pet cat to help you in battle or give you a buff from idea no.1) and if you can grow trees you should be able to grow stuff like mushrooms, grapes, wheat, carrots, ect. and different foods give you buffs 6. Make a crafting system for many things, like a oven for food and anvil for tools like a fishing rod 7. Add a mode where you can spawn whatever you want and use whatever you want (like the creative mode from Minecraft) 8. Make armor to protect you (like you have no armor for 10 days and more days come you get better armor) 9. (for Pvp mode only) add like different hats you can wear (just in case someone has the same name and cant tell from the other IF you add names)
I'd LOVE to see floor spikes in this game. Craftable spikes that deal damage to enemies as they walk through them. Or maybe you could find them in chests around the map? Maybe also add wall spikes. If you could though, add a door to the game. (also if you need music im all for it)
story mode could be like you are on a boat and crash, then you realize your boat contained abunch of radiation and toxic waste, and your need to survive on an island with toxic waste bringing back the undead until like round 15 next you have to go to the edge of the island and get a boat, then it could be like a shooter on the boat with sailing zombies and skeletons trying to get you as you sail away, maybe even a new kraken or sea monster boss or enemy then you make it the land, but you realize your troubles arn't over, as all the commotion and zombie noises have awaken ghosts all throughout town or something, so you go around taking them out and running through the town, and maybe like a portal to heck also opens up because of the rucuss half way through the waves, then the lava monsters come out of, and the zombies maybe are still on your trail, and this can have like a battle with the devil or something cool like that then you fall into a portal to heck after your win and the devils trident, staff thingy falls in to, and you need to get it to go back to the human world and put all the monsters to rest, so you need to battle abunch of beasts from heck like imps you shoot fire or the lava monsters or like there could be some fire turrents or something then you turn everything back to normal and your good. the end
What if you mine in the center of the stone blotches, then a stronger material was there and you can like, upgrade ur equipment like more wood per chopped tree, faster fire rate or more damage, and Stronger stone walls when u mine with a stronger pick? Also, you could add structures with hidden books that like, upgrade ur speed, fire rate, health, or damage dealt? And the more books of one category u read the better you are in that category? what if you had to play a small minigame that gets harder every time you read a book? And it gets harder per book you read? And a stats thingy on the side to see ur upgrades and stuff? Sorry, i had a lot, these were my best ones

Instead of just disappearing, have zombies leave blood spots, skeletons a pile of bones, that disappear after a few seconds. Some kind of corpse. Flame enemies should have charred corpses :-p. Ghosts should be immune to certain weapons. Trees should be able to catch on fire and damage enemies for bit before being removed.
Story mode suggestion- once you're doing your job as an FBI agent stopping the bomber exploding the airplane but you failed you become unconscious a for a while and waking up on a island enemies but you need to survive

I Have a little feedback to give here:
Add some kind of texture for the sand, so it isn't just a solid color
Add particles and camera shake/special effects when shooting, getting damage, dealing damage, etc...
Add some kind of effect to show that the shoot actually deals damage, like some blinking red color when the enemy gets hit

Sand should have more texture, this should make movement feel less isolated and be more aesthetically pleasing
Boss should have some sort of ranged attack, a melee boss vs a shooter player is way too easy as is, some sort of ranged attack like three rocks that float in the air and then home after the player would be cool. this would happen every so often.
Death animations and particle effects. Big boy just kinda vanishes, I feel he needs some more rewarding death animations.
Lessen the damage on the flamethrower, as it is an AOE weapon, it shouldn’t tank like every other weapon. Give enemies a “on fire” particle effect and have them die like 3 seconds later, not immediately

In story mode, there should be acts. Each act is a different map. Each act last about 30 waves (your choice) and after you beat the boss on the last wave, there should be a cutscène, and then you go on to the next act.
That's cool wait the cut scene like shadow fight 2 that's awesome

- The boss drops something like wood,stone,some other stuff if dead
- Add metal they are uncommon and are only found in beach. there strength is like rock thought much more powerful
- Day and night cycle Idk if this has been added yet but ok.The dark is like dark but you can still see enemies and grass and stuff like that. and the only light emitting is from your character. light range is around 5 blocks. like the building mechanic
- Caves. caves are structures made with rocks inside there's loots inside but it is guarded by enemies

And maybe one could insert some messages / informations about the place to make it feel more ancient (and not like, build in 40 hours)

Idea for story you crash on an island and once you reach a certain wave (boss wave) you get a wrench which you can use to fix a boat on the edge of the map to bring you to the next island (maby a volcanic island) here you would get to choose a second gun and fight the boss (a giant lava monster) I'll let you come up with the rest

Szenario: zombie apocalypse.
After your Wife cheated on you. You decide to start a new life in a new country. You get on a plane. But there was an infected on the plane. Everybody scream cause the zombie is eating a passanger. The co pilot comes out to check whats going on.
Wrong move.
The zombie rushes on the pilots infecting them.
The plane crashes.
You are the only survival.

You make it so that every few minutes, it will be nighttime which will last 1 or 2 minutes. More enemies will spawn, and maybe you could make it so that ghosts come out during this time! This will encourage players to use the building mechanic to build a base, and will thrill them with challenging gameplay!
Maybe for the multiplayer options, have two “sub-modes” to that as well? One option could be a two player option (So that’d be typical 1v1 PVP, and two-player endless mode), and another could be a four player option? (2v2 PVP, and four player endless mode)

Mobs suggestions:
1. Change the way skeletons move. Instead of charging the player like zombies do, make them try to flank the player by moving towards them from the left or right. You can also make some zombies follow the skeletons, so the horde will try to actively surround the player.
2. It would be nice to see a support monster, which does not attack the player but provides healing or speed boost to it's comrades.
3. You can add something like a catapult. If the catapult is closer to the enemy than the player is, the enemy will go to the catapult and launch itself onto the player's defences. This would make camping impossible.
Story mode idea: maybe every 10 waves there would be a boss, and after a boss is killed you would move on to the next map
(also maybe make it a full Steam release if possible)
Maybe different zombie types. You could also add obstacles that can hurt you. Like toxic waste (that’s for some reason on the island) that hurts you but when a zombie steps in it, it turns the zombie into a acid spitting zombie, also maybe make it where the fire from the flamethrower sets the zombies on fire. Maybe guns run out of ammo and it spawns on the map. I think it would give players more of a reason to move around the map. Idk if any of these ideas are good but there what came to mind lol.

@@guiii0696 that could be cool. Tbh there's a lot of ideas you could realistically add but whether they fit with that level will be a different story. I do like the toxic waste idea. However it got implemented if it does.
Maybe you could have events that spawn items across the map to discourage camp-y play styles, like a meteor that crashes near one of the borders that has strong resources to harvest and use for base building or crafting.

Honestly a visual update would be a good idea. Adding some particles when Zombies are hit would make the kills more satisfying, likewise the buildings having a visual of taking damage and eventually breaking would look good. I'd also suggest making the floor look more like samd as at the moment it just looks like a yellow void.
For story mode: He crashed from a plane and washed up on an island with only a gun and a working radio,from the radio you hear a voice saying that someone is coming to save you but you have to defend the waves (you decide how many but I suggest 60 waves for the 6 different types of enemies. Different bosses per 10th wave) until the ship arrives

Maybe add some more bosses every 10 waves and eventually it loops back around to the first boss, but buffed, and it keeps going like that, looping and buffing. In Story Mode, you would only fight each boss once.
For clarity:
Basically, have like 5 or so bosses, and after all 5 are used, it uses a buffed version of Boss 1, then buffed version of Boss 2, and so on.
Imo there should also be a final boss that would appear at the end of story mode, as well as in endless mode at a certain amount of waves
I think that making the bullets a bit more visible and maybe different depending on each gun would be cool. Because right now it is kind of hard to see them. (I am colorblind, which may effect that but I think it would be good none-the-less.)

For Story Mode you could make horizontally long levels where you make your way from left to right, scavenging materials from Ruined buildings and surviving hordes of zombies. The end of each level could be capped by different objectives like surviving a massive wave. Transitioning to different biomes could be through a boat at the end of each level. And each level could have their own unique enemies.
Edit: Also if you need a pixel artist for any new assets you'd want to add to the game, I'd be happy to come up with some for you.
i think it would be cool if you expand on the fighting system, like adding more melee and make it more interesting to use(like moving your cursor to swing the weapon and deal damage)
Story Mode suggestion: You've been deployed to an island and later after a few message pickups you find out it's a setup and are stranded option to make a temporary base with the materials you find or you can explore the island and find its dark secrets and the reason you were placed and deserted there. Eventually, a team of island explorers finds you (bot cutscene). The ship sets off home but something in the water pokes a hole into the gas container and the ship explodes. You and 2 others out of 6 (bots) are able to jump off before the kaboom. You blackout in the water and you dry up on another island but something is different about the island. just seems a bit fake ... (your choice on whats next)

Here are some ideas I've got.
1. Add shields and/or armor that reduces/block incoming damage.
2. Maybe throw in some healing items.
3. Monster traps. These can harm and/or slow monsters
Towers.
Tower defence mode: you put towers such as a knight an archer or any other ones the king must be defended once the castle breaks he can defend himself a little bit but he’s weak so he can die in 2 hits and if the king dies you lose and another suggestion I have is PVP mode (not the one you just said) where both players can spawn any hostile enemy and try to get their castle or in the tunnel which both areas will have a health bar the one with the most hits again can defend themselves but this time the zombies are a bit faster so that if the castle falls and the player is running they can get the player and kill them also add extra 2 tower bots to make it more interesting

my idea of story mod is like you can swich between 3 chars : pistol / shotgun and uzi and when one die you swich to another and you need to save a town from the zombies and at the end you fight the zombie lord that created every single monsters
Also you can make in multiplayer so you can choose your class of gun or maybe buy them at the multiplayer store in the multiplayer menu
You should make ammo for the weapons and monsters will drop ammo sometimes. The boss will be the progression of weapons in endless mode that when dies, will drop a weapon. The zombie boss will reappear (doesn’t have to be a zombie still) and will get stronger with new abilities (like throwing a couple of zombies at you etc) the ammo th at you pick up will vary depending on the gun you are holding. the pistol will have the highest ammo while the shotgun prob will have the least. You should also make the gun sometimes jam, and also the aiming a little off(since there is recoil) and stamina so the player can only sprint so much(recovers when not moving or when eat chicken)
for story modes you should make it such that on some levels, you have a goal to complete like (protect the civilian) where if you win, you get the civilian as an ally, or a harder one (only kill zombies) etc. Then the final boss will be the one that unlocks the other modes or somethifn.
Also add skin costumisation!
Add a like poison noght kind of like in Stardew Valley caves where spawns are multipled
If you add a night map for ghost and lava monsters, also add bats that are one shot but less predictable

I feel like you could make a boss version of all the enemies with each of them having strengths and weaknesses like a ghost boss could have it's abilities but it has a little less health and a Titan Zombies boss would be very slow but take a ton of hits to kill and would be able to launch enemies to you.
I'm not amazing at it but I'd absolutely love help with the storymode, for free and all.
I'm a bit of a writer and love to get into the gaming aspect of it.
I don't have much finished work to show as I've been through some personal stuff the last two years which are finally settling down but I'm sure as hell motivated and pretty creative.

story mode suggestions:
1. the main protaginist (us) would be going on boat ride till we crash into the island
2. we would find a map that shows the island that will be the main map
3.level 1 should be sandy isle becuase most first levels of games have isle
4.there should be short zombies that we stomp on to kill
5. normal zombies that when we kill theyre back falls off and we can throw it at another zombie to kill it
6. the end should be a BIG tree

I think you should make it so that in story mode you survive a certain amount of waves, and then the boss comes, if you defeat him you go to the next level (you could add a cutscene here if you wanted). Each level the bosses and enemys would get harder, and each level will add a new type of enemy ot the already existing ones, as well as the old ones from the last level being there too. Maybe you could add new materials for each level.
You should add a creative mode! Like you have all the blocks, you can toggle mob fights, and you can place rocks and trees and upload your maps to the internet/steam workshop. Also, modding capabilities would be awsome
You should make a level system where you can get EXP from enemies and every time you level up you can pick abilites from a skill tree. And you can pick abilites like, "+1 damage" or "+1 HP".

no one will se this but i have a rough plan for story mode
1 the island: the game starts with some exposition telling you about the rise of monsters for an unknown reason ten tells how you are on a plane to escape monters when a hurricanr hits and the plane crashess on an island and you are left to survive untill you make a raft to leave
there are 3 bosses on the island 1 the big sombie who drops rope and twine (for raft) the the skeleton who har a big tree as a club wich you neet to get( for raft) and the last one is a new special boss the island king tho has a cape that you need for a sail,
once you beat all three bosses you get some exposition about the raft and what you are doin (going to find what caused the monsters) wich leads tou to a mansion/castle thing with a more liniar playstyle where you clear rooms for food and weapons here you find the shotgun and sniper and the spear( a waepon that can be thrown or swung [must retreive after throw] and can peice enamys) you fight 3 mob types, the ghost , haunted armor, and bandits here to raid the mansion for materials(armour is tough to kill and bandits can use the base pistol but die in one shot. there is only one masion boss and thats the mansion itself who attacks you when you find the info you beat it and set off to destroy the source
the scorce is a volcano and you need to blow it up (you get uzi and flamethrower here) and you need to set up explosion first so you fight lava mosters and rock golems until you plant explosives thn you hold fort in the last battle as you use blcks to protect the explosives and fight off all the enamys that youve met so far in hordes even regulaly spawning big zombies and skeletons (by the final battle you get rocket launcher)
the bomb finally goes off and you save the world

Hi. I love this game, but I have some ideas for the game.
1. I think the other map with the lava monster and the ghost could be a halloween theme, or a grave yard. Maybe you could mine the grave stones for stone?
2. Maybe when the zombie boss is killed, it could spawn 50 zombies, or a bow and arrow.
3. There could be a different boss in each map.
4. Maybe you could add more variants to a skeleton or something. It seems like there are more zombie variants, and less other variants.
5. new enemy ideas are:
spider
mummy (they never get enough love)
witch
devil-thing
6. maybe a way to make armor, or a shield, or like a force field that lasts a few seconds at a time
7. CUSTOMIZEABLE SKINS
In the story you can say is that you were a soldier and your task was to help people get out of the desert but your helicopter crashed and you survived or you can add a friend too in the game and that friend will have the ai to follow you
I have some ideas for another update:
Add more pixels and detail to the boss zombie,
Add death animations to the zombies and enemies,
Maybe add a crafting system for the new weapons?
You should use some pixel font, add screen shake when shooting from guns, particles for breaking wood and stabbing zombies (blood particles), screen shake when boss is rushing at u, giant blood explosion when boss is defeated, maybe some vignette?, flame thrower should ignite zombies trees and ur own base (zombies would take damage over time when ignited and have a chance to put out themselves) And ofc sound effects because this game has some cool mechanics but it doesn't have any feedback for what r u doing. Players won't be satisfied with shooting boss if he will just dissappear. I know it's still in development and making games is not easy (I made some games myself) and sometimes you won't understand why players really like something u think is boring but that is just a part of learning. You should add a spider enemy that has a chance of bursting into smaller spiders when you kill it unless you use the flamethrower,
Edit: Also, speaking of the flamethrower, it should be able to burn down planks and trees, destroying your structures but also damaging enemies that come into contact with the flaming wood
Have you made a crafting table? And have you made a cave for Stone to make better tools and a turret for the player so it protects you
heres an idea, a new enemy, the corruptions, zombies and other enemies attack it but if the corruption kills anything the killed become corrupted with the abrochutes of the corrupted enemie, and yes, there will be a boss corruption. infact, the 1st one you ever see is a boss one.
An idea for story mode: the guy is on a ship. a monster attacks it. He derives to the shore of the island and finds the axe of an ancient survivor. I'll continue later.
Add more building stuff!! And visible bullets, it just looks weird ngl, also the yellow background, maybe add some vegetation, some flowers, bushes, grass... and the boss, when someone says "zombie boss" i imagine... the big fat nasty zombie
Suggesstion: Techno map
There should be a techno map in the game.
This map would have three types of eneimes, the robo-man, a replica of the player in robot form, it would have no notable affects and just be the defult enemt for this stage. Next should be the drone enemy, it would not be damaged by melee attacks and could only be hit with ranged attacks. The third enemy for this map should be the malfuncioning robot, it would be a damaged version of the robo-man enemy that explodes when near the player. The boss of this map would be the scrapper, this robot would have a track and two large welders for arms, using them too attack the player. This boss could also use its arms to repair itself, gaining health and have the ability to turn junk-piles around the map into maltfunctioning robots.
The stand in for trees in this map would be holograms, holographic blocks are dropped from these, they allow the player to walk through but must be destroyed by eneimes. The stand in for hills in this map would be junk piles, breaking junk piles gives you trash cubes to build with.
This maps weapon would be the lazer gun, it would need time to charge up but when it does it fires in a straight line for an entire second dealing massive damage to hostiles in its path.
(Srry for bad english im not american or british)The history: chapter 1:You are in a militar boat heading toward the island after every one died without a reason after you reach the island the boss throws a giant rock in your boat and it sinks so you swin to the island and find out everyone became zombies and now you have to survive, after defeat the boss you head towards a vulcanic cave (bcs yes).
Chapter 2 the cave: after you enter the cave you find a bunch of lava zombies and a big magma boss this is where you find the shotgun from another guy who died.
Chapter 3 the dead town: you find a portal in the cave and you decide to enter it now u are in a place with Ghosts you discover that this place is another island that the portal teleported u to and you find a mansion after u enter the mansion you find a uzi from the owner who died and u doscovers he was the mayor of town using the uzi u fight the boss the Reaper
Chapter 4 the island (again):this time u pass through the portal again and go bacm to the cave after u leave the cave u go to the island kill every remaining zombie and wait for a helicopter arrive
Obs: u will get the flamethrower after kill the 2 boss bcs yes
And the sniper u get after kill the 1 boss each chapter is 30 waves credits for cattymations for giving me the ideas of chapters and waves

idea for story mode : you're a navigator and explorer and you reach this island, that will have like 5-6 different areas/biomes. and you're in search of an ancient relic. the point of the game is to reach the ruins area where the relic is and defeat the final boss as fast as possible, it would have a pretty simple crafting system, nothing too flashy. you could go straight to the final boss after starting the game by finding a secret cave instead of doing the entire story that would ask you to complete a couple quests. however the shortcut to the end would be for Hardcore players that only want the best finish time, as the final boss would require you to be a genius at avoiding projectiles and stuff like that. idk I just had the idea
Another weapon you can add is a bazooka. I think it would be very fun to just go around and blow zombies up.
Maybe you could make a T-Rex skeleton boss in story mode that spawns every 5 waves, at first it is easy to defeat but later it gets harder and harder to kill. At first it can only destroy wood, then trees at wave 10, then stone at wave 20. It is too big to pass through a 1 or 2 block wide gap, but it can pass through a 3 block wide gap. Whenever it appears only skeletons hould spawn. It should have the most hearts and the most damage of any monster. At wave 15 it will shoot bones from it mouth so you can't just camp and shoot it from the safety of your stone fortress. You could alo add a taser or a potion bottle where you can stun enemies for a short period of time, but it doesn't work on the T-Rex. You don't defeat the T-Rex skeleton boss until wave 20. When the boss is defeated before wave 20 it just goes into the ground to fight another day. The goal is to defeat the Rex because that is what is causing the monsters to spawn.
For the story you could have some levels that are 10 rounds each and you're trying to get home but you need a boat and on the 10th round of all of the story mode you get a part for the boat and when you get all the parts there will be 1 more round where there will be all of the bosses you just faced coming one by one on each round but if there were 4 ( not including this one )levels for story mode there would be 5 rounds on the last level because on the 5th round you would face all of the bosses at once but they were weaker but you could also run to the boat instead without facing all the bosses but then some enemies will have snuck on and you will basically instantly die but you can fight back and try kill them but its almost impossible and you can choose what happens if you do kill all the enemies on the boat, but if you did kill all the bosses you would just get home
no.1 Can you add surviver to the game or like pet like a dog which will help you fighting the monster. No.2 can you add a map were you are on a raft in the middle of sea and monster like stray or even zombie shark! No.3 Can you add things like boxs that had resources? (You don't have to add all of these)
When I watched you making this game I thought maybe waves are just survived but the enemies don't disappear. Maybe they lose interest for a little bit. For your big boss now, my first thought is projectiles, but it's not the lava guy so what would be the projectile; how about they throw baby zombies at you! That way if you dodge they can still come after you.
You should add placeable weapons, like cannons that shoot the enemies. And you could craft it with a lot of wood, stone, and any other blocks you might add.
Ok. so he finds the axe and takes it. He walks farther and finds the HOME of the ancient survivor. He goes in there and finds the pickaxe. He also finds a map to the pistol. He goes find it. It is a long way there. So, the player has to build a little base and find food. (Also add a mechanic to light a fire and put animals in the forest for the player to kill and eat). The next day, he sets back on his trip. There, He meets zombies. The player has to kill them (obviously). When he arrives th the place where the pistol is hidden, he takes it. But as soon as he does that, The giant zombie boss comes th attack him. When you kill him, You have to go back to the base. [Also, add more new zombies like an alarmer zombie or one that explodes]. Back home, The player sees zombies staacking up his house. He flees or kills them all. He has to build a new house WITH DEFENSES (spikes, shields or even automatic weapons! [but leave that for later]. Then the survival starts. Add more maps and throughout his quest, the player will find all guns. Ending: The player goes into a very foggy creek. He is hearing lots of noises. Then, suddenly, He sees the monster that attacked his ship. He defeats it and finds a pretty good ship. He sails it to his motherland. End.

Some small=bigger ideas that could improve the game:
1 I would love if you added walking animation. Just have legs rotate to left and right a bit. It would add much more depth to the game.
2 You should add magazine and reload mechanic- Just have Ammo bar left to the hotbar, make reloading time and ammo unique to every gun.
Small question: Are you still using the art you had to use on the game jam?
3 What about making enemies taking damage more visual just add parts of the blood effect and maybe make their model get darker for a short time.
Little "wilder" ideas:
4 You could add upgrading system. A: add an inventory where you can swap items in hotbar. B: Make trees drop logs instead off walls and same with stone.
C: Implement crafting- You can choose what to craft, it would take some time: Let's say trees would drop 2-4 logs and stone would drop 1-3, making a wall would cost: 2 material for 3 walls.
Enemies could drop items when killed with some special like iron,scrap,cogs . Other weapons should be craftable and you could also upgrade the axe, pickaxe and upgrade your gun stats(firerate, magazine, reload time) crafting and upgrading should take some time
New weapon ideas : Bow- very slow firerate but deals konockback and can be upgraded into crossbow, Boomerang- Works like boomerang with also 15% stun chance
Flamethrower should burn enemies maing them take damage over time.
New enviroment: Water: Enemies and the player can't walk in but you can shoot through it, land near trees should be grass.
Zombies should sometimes walk little to right and left to make it harder to hit them.
The character could hold weapons in the hand. Switching to another one when aiming at the other side.
That's all I can think off what could be possibly added and add great elements and improve gameplay.
New boss and enemy ideas:
The Plague Dr.
He has 3 hearts like the giant zombie but his attacks are:
Poison blast: shoots poison that deals 1 damage
Poison zone: makes a zone of poison that deals 1 damage
Dark King:
Has 5 hearts but he has these abilities:
Disarming: You can't use weapons for 2.5 Seconds.
Loyal Knights: Dark Knights will attack you just keep a range and your good.
Phase 2: at 1 heart he enters phase 2
Abilities unlocked:
Shadow Travel: Randomly Teleports to you and gets a 1 heart strength boost for 3.5 seconds.
this game has unlimited bullets so add a small amount of ammo to guns, and a random helicopter that came for your help but crashed and it contained the ammo for the guns so the player will have to look for helicopter crases and get the ammo to survive the game that will make it more amazing
It would be cool to add effects when, for example, you attack a monster, because it looks a bit empty without them, just a suggestion
My idea for the story (the classic): you were on a ship, the ship crashed onto the island, you're the only survivor. As you progress on the beach, you "find" new weapons in the sand that came from the ship. On the next level you find a small shrine whith a prophecy about a rando (you) who will save the natives from monsters. The next level could be some ruins with some trivia on how the monsters came to be and attacked the people (some curse or whatever that wouldn't require too much explaining). Then, something in between, maybe more trivia about current levels. And the last one could be that the player has to actively protect people in a village. In order to win, you need to save, let's say, at least half of the population and everyone on a potential harder difficulty.
Animations. I think it will be cool to give the guns animations. Or a walking animation for the player or enemies. And generated buildings like a cabin or a camp so you can find and get new weapons and stuff. And a crafting system for story and endless mode. Where you craft better guns and armor.
Game mode idea: creative mode -
Creative mode let’s you create anything you want including adding blocks from the game. You could also post maps in the map creations and play them.
Idea:
In story mode, make it like you’re not the only one surviving on the island, make it look like when you discover somebody, they will fight for you
Idea:
When you add more bosses, add new boss called skeleboss. It could fire projectiles (arrows) at you and you will have to dodge them

When you defeat a boss, you earn a special reward

If you want, add a new enemy on the new islands called grim reaper. It could summon to at least 3 enemies and make the fight even harder (make sure you put a limit to these things :) ).

I have a few suggestions
1. Add a background (if possible) the plain beige is a bit boring, but i don't know if adding a background is possible with the textures given
2. Music
3. Make killing enemies more satisfying (i.e. screen shake, sound effects particle effects etc.)
Add bodyguards where you can hire by giving them a certain number of recourses. You can also add multi player where every group of 5-10 people help each other to survive. Add a chat for the multi player group (make sure they have labels of some sort) to help people communicate. Try adding horses ( or camel since it is a island) where you can tame them with a grass pile. You can then ride them to be faster. Might want to add tribe people who will use a bow and arrow or spears to kill other enemies (they might also attack you). Also try adding roles such as medic (who heal people who have lost health), engineer (build turrets around the map to auto attack enemies), and Protector (has a shield to protect other players). That is it. Sorry for adding a lot
Add a custom gamemode, create maps, customize enemies, amount of waves, beggining weapons, create new enemies, simple and advanced enemy sprite creator, edit size, speed, strength, and health, create custom abilitys for the enemies, create new weapons, etc.
2nd suggestion: new food items, cooked food items
3rd suggestion: GORE, can be toggled in the settings
4th suggestion: a 3D version of the game (if you don't know how to make 3D games then it oke you no have to make)

But new enemy’s the enemy’s are Crawlers they can grab you but u cant shoot while the grab you then they bring you to the strongest enemy next enemy skin stealer tall figure that steals ur skin when you touch it for 3 seconds and has good speed and organ mass organ pile that has hands sticking out and is boss it can suck you in dealing 1 heart and messing up ur controls for 10 seconds it can get it’s hp from being near you every 5 seconds that’s the boss on wave 50 it can summon the boss on wave 10 (10% chance and 90 % of crawlers / skin stealers it also has 5 hearts but you also can gain 1 heart from killing bosses more enemy ideas are organs they can summon skin stealers and crawlers next is brain it can make u move wrongly that’s all it can do it. But on wave 30 the brain mass can control you to go into it and dealing 1 in a half damage and has 4 hearts can summon brains also can jump very high dealing 2 hearts it’s good idea right? (New mode idea : Blood moon it doubles the amount of enemy’s on each wave (including bosses) best for multiplayer)
The Boss should still destroy barricades on a charge, but they should should impede his progress so they're still relevant - maybe they interrupt it?
- Add structures where players can find new weapons, and parts to create them and rags, to make clothes.
- Add iron and coal
- Add zombie spiders, which can climb the walls. (Roof can stop them)
- Add diging zombie which can make trench under the walls (Floors can stop them)
- Add workbench, where you can craft
a) Wooden, and stone floors and roofs
b) Furnance, where you can cook chicken meat
c) Iron-reinforced wooden and stone walls, floors and roofs

e) Clothes for players (esspecially for multiplayer mode)

Neat additions made to the game, though the weapons aren't that optimized. I feel like it would be better if there was some more depth to it like skeletons being immune to the flamethrower or putting in a clip/reload mechanism to balance their use and make each feel more unique. Either way great work
I think you need to change some stuff:
- weaponry. the sniper would be great if it pierced enemies, the flame thrower should just use a status effect instead of dealing massive damage, the shotgun should have short range and the bullets should be much less accurate and the uzi should deal less damage per bullet. Maybe add an ammo system where each weapon has different ammo.
- enemies. You need more varied enemies, Ranged enemies, static enemies etc
- There should be breaks between waves and a more complicated building system, maybe have the player be able to create many blocks and mix up different building materials to make them.
- Boss fight. The boss seems ok but there are some fundamental issues. It needs to be able to have loads of weak zombies spawning in next to it rather then just a couple normal ones, so the boss is chaotic and fun, and the attack where the boss spawns in enemies shouldn’t be the same as the charge. also it would be great to see some lighting change during the boss fight, and the boss hp bar going down gradually
with the story mode reckon the story of the game should be that, after the player is on a cruise ship with his family, which was directed to stop at an island by a strange transmission stating that there where rough seas ahead. The ship crashes into a rock of shore and the player is the only survivor. The player looks for his family but cannot find him on the ship not wanting to give up he takes a fire axe and a pistol to survive from the ship he waits till night fall until zombies emerge from the ground he (this will be the first few encounters) after finding a piece of paper found on a zombie who was a scientist before being zombified. The note states that the facility has begun evacuation procedures and the note contains co-ordinates to the facility. After arriving the player will fight a wave of zombies including the zombie boss to get a key. They will enter the facility through a large door (in the facility a possible enemy could be robots along with zombies) after fighting through the facility and beating a large malfunctioning robot they will find an outpost with many scientists (they all are cowering) after asking around the scientists tell him that after accidentally opening a rift in time through a bomb test a girl with black hair came out of the rift and after she saw a scientist violently experimenting on a native chicken she lashes out and forced the scientists to give her humans or she would kill the scientists and that's why they called the cruise ship(she needed humans to create an army of zombies). The player will then ask where the girl is now and the scientists will reply that she has gone back through the rift into her home world. The player finds out that many have tried to follow her but all have died but the scientists do know that to get to her home world you need to cross through a dangerous alternate reality of earth where everything has been destroyed by nuclear bombs(this is where ghosts and skeletons are introduced). You go through the portal and need to fight for a few waves for a high energy gun you got from the scientists to charge so you can open another portal to the girls home world. After doing so the player enters a hellish world(this where lava monsters are introduced) after fighting through a gauntlet you find the girl, she tells you she created all including humans and she did it so peace could be achieved because humans must end as there violence is unacceptable and we as a species must be extinguished to achieve her goal true peace across all dimensions ( the girl will transform into a demon and the boss fight will begin). After killing the girl an energy rift opens which sends you back to earth. All zombies turn back to humans, the scientists thankyou and you meet back up with your family. I hope you liked my story idea and I hope your game goes well
This game has alot of potential especially the multiple islands idea you talked about and I think you could do somthing pretty cool with it my idea is when you go to a different island there's a boss battle on the island. Each boss fight could be different from eachother. This idea is pretty cool because you can take this idea anywhere maybe you could have the bosses drop loot to help you in combat or you make it so you have to kill the bosses to fight the final boss or you could have both.
Hey, what about that the story mode started with you being a crew member in a ship. Then it gets attacked by some pirates and all your mates get captured and then tortured. Because you're busy with now dying and shooting pirates, you end up in a cursed island. That gives an explination and why you're on an island and also why there are zombies and skeletons and shit. Then you go through the island, going horde after horde, until you defeat the boss of this map. You take all of the wood (maybe make so the tress can grow fruit so you could survive) and build a raft. No idea what to put next but at the final after finishing a map. A boat finds you, who happen to take you in like a middle place between home and where the pirates are. You either go back home, and tell the story, or you go and find the pirates to save as many as your mates. How that end i think should be up to you!

I have a very small and simple quality of life suggestion that I think would help the game "feel".
Just add a small "dark-blueish filter" while waves are active, to simulate a "night/day" cycle.
It would make thematic sense to have it be "night" while the undead are coming, and switching to day after you kill the wave or when the wave-time is up. It would also serve as a nice visual queue to let players know what's going on, since sometimes you can have a zombie stuck somewhere and not really realize it.
I have an idea for story. you have to kill one or two waves of zombies and then fight a mini boss. The mini bosses are basically just the enemies but a bit stronger and they show up at the very end of the wave. The game was split up into 15 levels and every five levels you would have to fight a boss which had to be hit 20 times at the first fight 30 times at the second fight and for the final boss you need to hit him 45 times. every boss would also have a different selection of abilities, for example one of the abilities can be a stun. it should also have different modes.

The game starts similar to Aground, where there is a huge storm and you are washed up on a sandy island. you soon find the island was overrun with monsters such as zombies and skeletons! after a few waves, you recognize a zombie you killed. It was one of your friends before the storm! Then, after another wave, you find a second survivor, an NPC! The NPC gives you side quests such as kill 100 zombies or build 100 stone blocks, but the NPC also gives you a MAIN QUEST! it is to journey to the cave somewhere on the island, and you get there eventually, which is where you fight the zombie boss. Then in the cave, the game is similar but with different enemies such as the ghost or lava monster, and you also have new weapons, blocks, and items, because trees cant grow down there. after a few waves, you find out more about the storm and life before the storm, and hwo the zombie plague was created and Cthulhu along with it, who created the storm. The storm had wiped out humanity and flooded most of the world, except for a few islands like the one you are on. You find out that this island used to be Mount Everest! The NPC finds you and tells you to continue down the cave, where after a few more waves you find the second boss, a giant rock golem. You continue and find an underground lake, but it is actually the entrance to the ocean, and you get a waterproof suit. the next area is completely underwater and there are cool new aspects to the game. Until finally, you reach the final boss. It is Cthulhu, and it has two forms, first with the Kraken, then Cthulhu. You beat it and find a submarine at the end. The game finishes with you heading off into the unknown with your submarine.
This can be edited and lots of things can go into more detail.

Adding varients of other enemies like made a big lava monster or a lightning ghost would probably be cool
I think it would be cool if there was an ammo system. Like each gun has its own ammunition and once that weapon runs out of ammo, you can't use it again until you find or craft more ammo for it. Maybe the pistol would have infinite ammo, so if all of the other guns run out you can go back it the basic weapon, but also maybe not because the melee weapons are always available. It would give a real incentive to do melee kills in order to conserve ammo, And it would naturally balance the better weapons (like the shotgun and flame thrower) if they used ammo faster or if the ammo costs more recourses to make. (If you really wanna put some DOOM vibes into the game, you could make it so melee kills have a chance for enemies to spawn ammo on death, really put the player into risk/reward situations.)
I have a few suggestions to upgrade the boss
1:instead if looking like the zombie but big it should be the strong zombie but big
2:it should be able to slam the ground to rocks at you
3:it should have a roar ability that attracts the attention of all zombie enemies on the board to attack

You should add structures, like cabins, that would contain loot and be a shelter for enemies.
Edit: Also add an inventory, and a crafting system, you could also add more rescorces and blocks like barbed wire as a block and clay as a material.

I have an idea for a new mode: “cat and mouse”. Basically it’s like endless mode with one exception, there’s one new enemy ‘the cat’. Basically the cat is an enemy who can’t be killed, but has a limited range of sight. It’d be slightly faster then skeletons and would have the boss’s rush ability. For a design, I think a black recolor of the ghost with green eyes would look good
the blocks fitting like a grid instead of random placement is probably my favorite, never saw that before in your game before.
This is a quick blat out of ideas for story mode
1. Learn how you got there.
2. Learn why there are zombies.
3. Fieger out how the skeletons live and move.
4. Learn how magic exists.
for story mode you should add lvl and the first lvl you will have a human friend and the second lvl the friend will say “I’m going to find some stuff be right back” and the 7 more wave will be just like endless mode and the last lvl you should add the corrupted version of the human friend from the first lvl and you have to fight your friend and when you defeat your friend it will be a cutscene witch you will see the memories of you and your friend when you and your friend is a kid having fun
I have a suggetion that i think would make the game even better:
Weapon: While using the flamethower you should make it that the fire can destroy trees and wood, so its kinda a bit more realistic
Story mode: This isnt really a suggetion but more of an idea for the story mode, So our main character (lets call them "B") was a hunter and one day B heard of this deserted island and B thought that it was just a normal island that B could use to hunt some animals, But what B didint know is that this place is full of monsters. After defeating the boss B gonna find a boat/or a portal that takes B into a new difrent islan (and i think that new island could be a haunted island where you could put the ghost and lava monster )

Endless Mode should probably have a choice of which map you're playing on
The Maps are:
1. Deserted Island (Enemies: Zombie(often), Ghost(rarely), and Skeleton(mid))
2. Mysterious Station (Enemies: Skeleton(often), Little Zombie(rarely), Big Zombie(mid) and Zombie(often))
3. Ghost House (Enemies: Mostly the Ghost, everything else should rarely spawn)
4. Lava Pit (Enemies: Lava Monster(often), Ghost(mid), and Big Zombie(rarely))
I think there should be chests in the chunks of materials, from which you can get the other weapons
otherwise you are stuck with the pistol and axe
The boss(es) should be a random enemy from the game, but stronger and with an additional attack (like the charge for the Zombie boss)
Maybe make different variations of the enemies? (Example: Molten Zombie, Ice Zombie, Ball 'n Chain Zombie(a spiky ball spins around the zombie deflecting bullets))
Also i got an idea for a enemy mechanic (you can come up with the enemy name lol): at set intervals, the enemy will teleport to a different side of the player, if it is close enough.

Ideas
1. Add a pet that can help you in battle, a way of doing this is a pet will spawn at a very low chance and you have to get an item to tame it, kill a skeleton for a bone to give to a dog to help you in battle or give you a buff.
2. Add close range weapons for close up battle like an axe, sword, knife, ect.
3. Add ways to get more health, like after defeating a boss you get a new heart.
4.Give the game a bit more detail, for a better gameplay.
5. Add many ways to get more food, like a pond for fishing (could also be used to get a pet cat to help you in battle or give you a buff from idea no.1) and if you can grow trees you should be able to grow stuff like mushrooms, grapes, wheat, carrots, ect. and different foods give you buffs
6. Make a crafting system for many things, like a oven for food and anvil for tools like a fishing rod
7. Add a mode where you can spawn whatever you want and use whatever you want (like the creative mode from Minecraft)
8. Make armor to protect you (like you have no armor for 10 days and more days come you get better armor)
9. (for Pvp mode only) add like different hats you can wear (just in case someone has the same name and cant tell from the other IF you add names)
I'd LOVE to see floor spikes in this game. Craftable spikes that deal damage to enemies as they walk through them. Or maybe you could find them in chests around the map? Maybe also add wall spikes. If you could though, add a door to the game.
(also if you need music im all for it)
story mode could be like you are on a boat and crash, then you realize your boat contained abunch of radiation and toxic waste, and your need to survive on an island with toxic waste bringing back the undead until like round 15
next you have to go to the edge of the island and get a boat, then it could be like a shooter on the boat with sailing zombies and skeletons trying to get you as you sail away, maybe even a new kraken or sea monster boss or enemy
then you make it the land, but you realize your troubles arn't over, as all the commotion and zombie noises have awaken ghosts all throughout town or something, so you go around taking them out and running through the town, and maybe like a portal to heck also opens up because of the rucuss half way through the waves, then the lava monsters come out of, and the zombies maybe are still on your trail, and this can have like a battle with the devil or something cool like that
then you fall into a portal to heck after your win and the devils trident, staff thingy falls in to, and you need to get it to go back to the human world and put all the monsters to rest, so you need to battle abunch of beasts from heck like imps you shoot fire or the lava monsters or like there could be some fire turrents or something
then you turn everything back to normal and your good. the end
What if you mine in the center of the stone blotches, then a stronger material was there and you can like, upgrade ur equipment like more wood per chopped tree, faster fire rate or more damage, and
Stronger stone walls when u mine with a stronger pick? Also, you could add structures with hidden books that like, upgrade ur speed, fire rate, health, or damage dealt? And the more books of one category u read the better you are in that category? what if you had to play a small minigame that gets harder every time you read a book? And it gets harder per book you read? And a stats thingy on the side to see ur upgrades and stuff? Sorry, i had a lot, these were my best ones
