I did everything myself. I bought paint from RS Motorbike Paint out of the UK (tons left over I could paint another bike ;-). Bought some cheap equipment (compressor, guns etc) and watched a ton of vids online. Graphics I got from RD Decals in Ontario, Canada. Total cost for paint and graphics about $850. The prep work took the most time...do NOT skimp on the prep work! Good news is the '87-'88 color scheme is easier to paint only two colors and the graphics are cheaper. Go for it! Good luck!
this is my first bike ever im 17 cant wait to ride it
That was my first street bike . Had the same pipe on it too
Another dream bike from my high school days.
I bought this bike brand new back in 86, thanks for the memories.
My first bike in 1986 ,loved that thing
SWEET! I'd love to hear it go through the gears with the V&H pipe!
Thank you! It sounds awesome! I'll load some GoPro footage this coming season for sure...very little onboard content for FZ600's out there
@@fzdreamz8736 I just made a deal today on one with a Yoshimura pipe. Should scream pretty nice :)
I'm encouraged now that I'll be able to get my 88 painted up this way! Do you mind sharing what it cost to get it painted?

Or, if you're Interested in selling the remaining paint, that might work better.
@@mcm95403 I have mostly Cosmic Blue and Silky White. Not enough red to do an ‘88
I'm painting it as an 86.
