Coming together so nicely! I'm building a tiny pc for my dad for christmas that's gonna have all the classics on it. We played a lot of GT1/2 together. Keep up the good work!
Should clarify that visually, the Viper GTS shown more closely matches the 1996 model year rather than 1997. The easiest way to tell the difference is if the stripe appears behind where the license plate sits on the back. If the stripe suddenly stops there and then appears again on the rear bumper, that's the 1997 model. The 1996 model had the rear stripe carry the entire way through, including behind where the license plate sits. The RT/10 appears to be the 1997 model year as shown in the footage here, its just the GTS that's 1996. And yes, I know that the 1998 model that's in the final game has this oversight. :P
Yeah, I know. Pez2k talked about it before, just needs a texture edit. Or I just rename it 1996 for ease. EDIT: I didn't read the bottom part of the text, I don't think it's intended to be a 1996 GTS. I think it was just a texture mistake PD made.

MrBossTa: Probably a full, whole day's 24 hours worth of video time by now from a single GTA trailer.. Random: Lemme get my Dodge Viper. Seriously though, anyone hoping we get some reverse engineered GT for PC anytime in the future, à la 2Real5Underground's TUFU? For that one I was hoping for better car add-on support, like just add files, and your save still works, and also H-Shifter support, I tried a CheatEngine mod for Underground 2 that completely broke the game on my PC. Like, even uninstalling and reinstalling, I couldn't play with controller anymore, and the H-Shifter didn't work either, and I find playing with a wheel harder, so just lose-lose-lose. Imagine reverse engineer for Gran Turismo, it could be like GT2, but also with SSR11, and all cars from GT2+, and from A-Spec, and other assorted car mods of your liking. With easy moddability of tracks could also come "demakes" of future tracks.
I want to see the Gran Turismo games someday given the same treatment as...Super Mario 64. I really do, some clever people managed to make a native PC port for SM64 and now you can basically do anything with it. It's so incredible. GT2 with the same treatment would be wonderful, being able to add as much content as I want.
Blue and white Stripes viper are back! 🔵⚪
They have been since GT2 plus tho

Why does the RT/10 sounds so different from the GTS? Don't both have (or should have) the same engine?

GT 1´s Vipers were 1996 models I think too
I learned something new today thanks to you, so thank you!
@@artoodiitoo I used to think that, but I think they were always intended as 1997 models.
@@artoodiitoothe 1996 Viper reminds me a lot to Test Drive 4 due to how iconic this car is.
The Gran Turismo 1 Dodge Viper RT/10 and Viper GTS finally back on Gran Turismo 2 and its sounds brilliant!
Simply simply lovely 👍

These missing was another disappointment to add to the GT2 experience back in the day x>
The Gran Turismo 2 original Version (even Version 1.2) despite has improvements over Version 1.0, still missing cars.

Where is the best place to start for learning how to do this?
