The difference in one day was incredible! I haven't been able to ride my horse for about a year due to the weather (too hot!) and my husband being ill. She has become barn sour and bucks when I ride her which is out of character for her. I think alot of the exercises you did will be helpful. Thanks for the ideas!
A few videos ago, one where it was kind of raining and he allowed you to lay on his back and you slid off the back end without him kicking. I thought he looked more ready to ride then, than he did in the first part of this video. Nevertheless, the second part of this video showed a huge improvement in his calmness. I get the feeling once you do get on him he's gonna do excellent, because of all your preparation..
Going too slowly causes a host of preventable problems. Once the horse is ready, as in you get the desired response, always move to the next step promptly. I get so many horses to train given far too much "time and love" always ruined by fearful owners too scared to move on. You don't need to drill the same again and again. If you aren't growing, you're rotten.
Yesterday he was so spooked and frightened, and now you were able to get on him and he wasnt even scared. That just shows how good of a horse trainer you are🌟🌟
This is turning into an amazing transformation. He’s taking a ton of work (way more than most horse) Can’t wait to see him finished ❤
Wow great job! At first I was thinking too much pressure but your confidence and body language gave this horse exactly what he needs. Impressive!!😀
What a difference a day makes…good job

I like his reactions to the umbrella. He's curious but also just a bit jumpy. Very cute horse.
