This is amazing to me. I am going to find her book on audible and listen to it. I also found her page on UA-cam and subscribed so I can now follow her.

Maybe trauma is a positive/negative duality. It can make us vulnerable and it can protect us by not being vulnerable depending on how we process it. Teens and younger are more susceptible because their brain aren’t fully developed yet. Does she think being young (20) when she had her first anxiety experience and not having a fully developed brain had something to do with her difficulty in dealing with it. Great point that transitions precede anxiety.

Can't releate to Sheryl Paul at all, I bought her book, she talks about anxiety yes but it seems her version of variety is different than mine, I don't worry about relationships, jobs etc, I just feel general unease daily for no reason, anxious just sitting on my sofa doing nothing, anxious just lying in bed. There is no message.

David Jones it was for me too at first :) it takes surrender our thoughts more :) then it comes out in a surface many specific thoughts that are coming and coming:)

Please elaborate on insomnia. How can I overcome it. I am very scared about it because I don’t sleep at all. I started with a wave of panic and it lasted several hours and now I don’t have panic attacks per se but now I have severe insomnia.(Do NOT sleep at all. All night.

So relationship anxiety is "only" a side effect of GAD? Overcoming GAD automatically frees up from relationship anxiety?
