Clark Gregg, thank you so much for doing this interview. Hollywood always seems like invincible people but you have normalized that for me. Tru amazing your journey and so much respect. Barry, your book and videos have changed my life!! I found DARE 3 years ago and I’m still a human with anxiety and bad days but boy has my life changed. I see anxiety as a creature in my brain that is trying to “help” but causes me intrusive thoughts, panic and general everyday unsettled ness!
If you suffer from anxiety form, buy DARE today on amazon. It’s amazing. BUT... you have to willing to change and want to change. To change the way you look and talk with your anxiety. It’s going to be uncomfortable to do what Barry asks of you but if you have courage and your sick and tired of living in your own head, but dare and live it for the rest of your days

I 100% agree with you. One needs willingness and trust the body itself. It takes a little time but it's worth it. I'll say I'm still anxious at times but I'm better at responding to it. I think anxiety can be transmuted into productivity and great stuff.

It almost made me laugh when Clark mentioned getting vertigo during a play because that was literally my first real anxiety moment. I was in Diary of Anne Frank and I remember thinking, why do I feel like I'm falling?

Amazing, Agent Coulson is by far my favorite marvel character and of course primarily by the next level quality of acting Clark treats us to, but as an anxiety sufferer myself, my absolute favorite marvel moment, of all movies and agents of shield and by a very wide margin from 2nd place was Phil Coulson diving through the portal. It struck a huge cord with me, it reminded me of that resolute feeling that I get when the danger is very real, so used to being in fear of fear and fear of things that aren't a real threat, its actually a relief, at least for most that I have talked to, to have a genuine, real, visible and great threat in front of you, you've rehearsed a billion times in your mind, omg what will I do, if THIS happens or if i have to do THAT?!!! when it really happens your mind just presses play and what can happen in that moment is staggering, I call it knitting the parachute on the way down. But that moment for agent Coulson, was just like that, the powerful calm he had as he gave his last words to the crew, it was exactly like that feeling. to discover that Clark is a fellow sufferer tells me everything, the depth of his character very clearly comes from a mind that spends way more time thinking and brooding than the average, there's a complexity there you can't really fake. wow, did not know i could be a bigger fan, but I am, Thank you both!

    Hi Barry,
Really great video. When the lockdown began my anxiety and panic attacks increased 10 fold. I felt isolated and claustrophobic as you described it. But now I have settled down. Thank god for the dare app.

A lot of people have anxiety attacks as a result of an incident that made their heart race, i.e. an overdose, a bad reaction to an over the counter medication, physical exertion, sun stroke. The “what if thoughts” are a form of hypnosis that creates the symptoms. It’s not always a natural reaction of your body to stress as much as it is suggestion.

Well sounds a lot like me! The fear of the fear is the absolute worst! At first there’s confusion then anger, guilt, sadness and I can go on and on. I’m still struggling but always trying ! 🙏🏻❤️

Just watched this and i have read Dare but when Barry says about the first manifestation about being highly in demand and high intense workloads and this all of a sudden stops or slows down. This was also how my first manifestation started,

It’s precisely your effort and concern, your wanting it to go away that causes it. Just the fact that you’re thinking of it is pressing the play button on that sequence that is programmed in your mind from previous experiences.

Don’t focus too much on life’s anxieties, you just wind up making a trigger out of these other issues by linking them with your fear of fear, fear of symptoms. This isn’t about relaxing, it’s about accepting not being relaxed as a way to reduce the anxiety. This will let go when you let go.

I think it helps but not so much with dpdr when you dont know who you are and are just in a constant fog/fatigue state. Just existing but not living. The dpdr is the worst symptom

I think a lot of what we call “anxiety” has more to do with “illness anxiety” and the symptoms caused by ones own autosuggestion of a perceived medical danger. People focus too much on anxiety on other issues in their life and link the two. People also focus too much on physical causes. It’s mostly cognitive.
