Great video. Backband was the key for me.. Really made things that much more comfortable, allowing me to sit longer and move less.
This is a really good video. Wish I saw it before I started.
Any newbies: Your first season is going to be a lot of experimenting to see what's comfortable for you. It takes time, but so worth it.
Thanks for the feedback. I try to make videos based on what I wish I had known going in so others don't have to make the same mistakes I did.
Thats why I just ordered my saddle and stick going to setup in the yard and decide whether I want to one stick or multiple
I have the same walMart knee pad😀
The backband can also be built from 2x 550 cord prusiks on the bridge, tied to a broad camera bag strap. Cheap or even free.
Good info. I'm going to use a saddle for some of my hunts this season.
Great tips for us newbies. Thanks!
Glad it was helpful, and thanks for watching!
Great tips. Thank you.
Thanks for watching Rob!
Well done. Thank you
Thanks for watching!
Good info. Saddle hunting does have its place and is a good tool for long distance molbile hunting, but I still like my hangons and climber stands better. That bear looks like it has been dead a while. LOL.
This is my first Black Tail hunt on the Oregon coast. I’m always looking for tips. For instance, I was using the fox pro trying to get this pesky bear outta here, yet kept clunking the speaker around. I had the remote in saddle bag. Watching others getting equipment up and Down or how not to get tangled. I had readjust my rope after the beans were below Frank somehow??first time that happened . I guess the speaker that was attached to climbing loop got the bridge tangled. But, the more you bring up the more you gotta pay attention to small details. I would like to see more videos on keeping stuffe organized. Oh my Hawk platform and steps weigh a ton:/ I had to walk a mile w/ 50lbs or more. I can’t afford that light weight stuff so old ma is taking lumps to her lady lumps
Buy a padded 2 panel like the timber ninja blackbelt right outta the gate and you'll never know what hip pinch is
I’ll tell you what. First lite makes a pant with built in knee pads, buy em.
