I have the luck to have 2 friends who actually listen to Pink Floyd the right way. The way that blows your mind and gives you goosebumps every fucking time. Also, I once asked some of my friends if they had a goosebump hearing music. They laughed at me and called me crazy. Of course they just listen to this new bullshit music. Even 21st century rock is turning to be bad.
Yes, watching folks young enough to be my grandchildren sing FatOldSun just like i did in 1970, back when Floyd were, you know, a cult band, is, to say the least, heart warming.
Pink Floyd will always be the greatest band in history. I haven't seen any other band CONTINUE to bring in so many people after their prime. Their music will continue to age like wine, and just get better and better.

I saw Roger Waters for the first time like 5 years ago and I’m really disappointed that I drank alittle too much and can only remember bits and pieces from the show clearly but it was definitely a concert like no other I’ve seen (and I’ve been to a lot). His concert made me tear up though. And I should mention that I was in the 9th row and right in the center of the colored prism. Also I bought my tickets and then won extras on the radio so my dad (a huge Pink Floyd fan since he was a teen) got to see the show as well for the first time. It was an incredible experience. Now if only David would tour the US, my life would be complete. ❤️

Robert Wyatt noted Gilmours musical abilities during the On An Island tour, saying that 'he has a sense of the whole piece of music', This is a fact that the powerful motivating force of his guitar playing and the vast abilities in his use of effects showcases him as one of the greats in soloing. Sometimes it does just all come together creating memorable music for generations.
So beautiful. When I saw David in Los Angeles on this tour, it was amazing of course. I sat right behind a guy who had flown froM Australia, by himself, just to see David. But so many of my fellow Americans at the show… they were still wandering in to their seats with their beers and nachos like 15 minutes after the concert started. Talking and yapping away like they they were at a party. I just love how the South American audiences are so in tune, so appreciative. These are my people!
No, you just let the emotion get to you but you just have to listen, you don't act like these foolish people that go over the top, THEY miss the point. When you go to a concert, you paid for the tickets, so you want to LISTEN to it, THAT's the point. Then the emotions will touch you much deeper because you are aware of what the song says...
