About All In The Family:
One of the most acclaimed comedy series of all time, All in the Family with Archie Bunker as the irascible, highly opinionated, working-class family man who viewed the world on his terms and his terms only. When not arguing with his liberal son-in-law, "Meathead," Archie took refuge in his long-suffering wife, Edith, who tries her best to understand Archie's conservative ways and outdated beliefs.

Could you please show the entire episodes?.
Available on Pluto
0:46 Gloria started to get up to answer the phone, before it started to ring.
This was before Edith’s character changed. She was in the transition they pushed on her. Notice how she didn’t run to the door and take his coat.
I love Edith, this version the most though....
I agree. I don’t like her beautiful personality being made into a servant.
In the pilot episode Edith was dry and somewhat sarcastic and then she was dumbed down to the point of ditzy.
@@msr1116 and she hated it but she was a success. In interviews she speaks avidly about it
The show lost its edge when Edith began to "find herself".
“You know, ya got the heart of a murderer asking me dat question.”
I never understood how they said Mike was from Chicago and yet his accent is pure New York.
David Soul was Zabo
Pity shows like this are not on TV now to melt the minds of snowflakes
People can’t take a joke anymore
AITF's still on TV on bunch of different channels.
@@pisto30 yeah. I think what the above meant is that shows like AITF can’t be made today
This sitcom was quite controversial in its heyday and I believe it opened the door to the whole sarcastic, insult, sniping comedy trend on sitcoms. I don't think characters arguing in this manner took place before AITF.. But, if it did, it was extremely rare.
@@paneledmeteor33 such a pity isn't it? They should be forced to realize joker's are funny. I feel sorry for them
Mike got all this time to play games, but he cannot get a part time job!
Only time I can remember when Archie comes home and sits down in his chair without having to boot the Meathead out of it first.
I guess you didn’t watch the pre-Meathead episodes.
@@ashleygilliland4331 What pre-Meathead episodes?
@@alondralabute2310 the ones where he doesn’t exist.
I’ve no anatomy sticking in my throat. I wonder if the writers knew that joke was extremely graphic 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Of COURSE they did. This show deliberately pushed boundaries.
@@retroguy9494 Hahahahaha that’s funny as I consider myself filthy as f when thinking about (as Archie would say) “that”.
How come he give her three of them hahaha
Archie was bowling in a white shirt?
Archie ALWAYS wore a white shirt. It was a generational thing.
My grandfather always wore one too. With double breast pockets. Long sleeve in winter, short sleeve in summer.
Every great once in a while if it was really cold, he'd wear a flannel shirt, but most of the time it was white. He also wore pants just like Archie's,
👍👍👍👍
😅😅

Chicken chest.
