‪@arduinoversusevil2025‬ inspired this imitative spoken-word walk-through of a repair I recently exacted on my Ford Ranger. I put in a new rear end (rear axle assembly) to replace mine, which had a badly destroyed differential.

My truck was making a horrible howling and whining noise. When I removed the differential cover, I found lots of metal shavings, a ruined carrier bearing, and broken teeth on the ring gear. New gears and bearings would cost almost $400. Instead, I bought a used rear axle with good diff.

Yep just off my knees after checking a brake shoe issue. New parts to come after a lousy unmentionable brake shop job a couple of years ago.
