Okay IMMEDIATELY followed. It's so refreshing to see more black women in the booktube community, but also black women who are mommies and dealing with real life things! I love BookTube, but sometimes I can't relate to the 20-somethings who seem to be everywhere lol. Don't get me wrong, I love and support their videos but YOU are so refreshing!
Also, I am a new mommy. My baby will be ONE this month! But my hubby has three kids from previous relationships. I have great relationships with them and love them so much, but I totally get the custody/co-parenting struggle! Would LOVE to hear you continue to share about this real life stuff just as much as I wanna know your TBR lol!
Hi! I am married with two girls a 5 year old and 1 year old. I got rid of social media all of it except UA-cam lol in 2017 and it feels great. I love not having social media gave me anxiety and it’s better for my mental health in my opinion for myself. I got into reading in 2021 and love it! I got a kindle too and love it.
omg same!!! I got rid of social for an entire year and I felt amazing. But as a content creator, it also did feel weird when I wasn’t posting or being creative with content. Here we are a year later, and I’m still trying to find the balance of posting content and also feeling comfortable in doing so.
I started reading in 2022, my first book was it ends with us by Colleen Hoover and I just got a Kindle too!!!!!!

Yes girl. Your intro spoke to me. Funny bc it's a thing that has been tugging at my heart the past few days. Because this summer my son is over his dad's house a lot more than usual ever. And I understand the momma thing, you trust the parent you know they are safe and loved but it's just not natural to be away from them for too long. It hurts. But I am trying to take the time similar to you just focused on things that makes me happy. I obvi clicked on this video for the TBR and BOOM you talk to my heart about co parenting. Immediately subscribed mainly because your vibe also is so cool and love the book content. Your background Is cute as well so just love this video all around.

I loved every part of One of Us Is Dead! I didn’t see the ending coming lol I read all 3 books of The Dreamland Billionaire Series (out of order). Terms & Conditions is my fav, then The Fine Print and I wasn’t too fond of Final Offer. Still a great series though. I can’t wait to watch your reviews of these, enjoy!
I am reading Summer Fridays right now!! I had never heard of it before but thought it would be a fun read for the summer. I just happened to see it at the library and I picked it up. I am really enjoying it!!

My two daughters arent my husbands biological kids but he has been in their life since they were 1 and 3. They are now 11 and 13..so I guess that says a lot. But I get what you are going through and you are blessed to have a good relationship with your kids father. I loved "One of us is Dead". If you are anything like me, you will hate one of the characters but it was such an awesome plot twist. It was a 4.5 star read for me. The audio book on youtube was awesome too!

My ex-husband and I do 7 days on / 7 days off. So we which every 7days. It was hurt in the beginning but I enjoy the personal time I get two weeks out of the month.
That much needed mama time is so nice too. That’s something I’m allowing myself to embrace more. I was a teen mom, so motherhood has been with me for a while. What do you like todo on your free time? Me, reading….😂✌🏽
@@blossomramos I love reading but when I went to nursing school, I would feel guilty for reading. Now it's seems so to get back into a reading routine.

So i have the 2-2-3 with both of my kids dads. Not married, single and even that is hard. I spend my weekend missing my babies. I’m so glad I’ve found a book girlie i can relate to. We still find time to read with all the chaos we have going on!
