Best weapon ever... the plunger.
You unlock all the wungfu abilities for each the tribe weapons the moment you pick them up. You don't have to unlock them. You consistently get the minor details like that wrong. I want to like your channel but it almost feels like you aren't really playing the game.
The game may not be perfect but I’m having so much fun playing it. I’m buying whatever dlc of expansions they come out with for this game. A team of 20 people brought us something more original that I’ve seen in years. No looter shooter bullshit or fake survival game like division. Why can’t the bigger companies be creative like this? Blows my mind

This is exactly why I don't listen to reviews from the critics because everybody kept saying psi freak is weak which is one of the most popular classes that people were talking about, the combat sucks they all kept saying this game is lousy it sucks don't waste your time. Anyways I probably played about 5 or 6 hours cuz I can't play that long during the week because of work , but I am loving this class currently at level 10 and and intelligent at 200 I'm doing pretty decent damage to the bosses. I love the graphics combat is fun and open world puts icing on the cake I give it 9.5 not bad for a game made by only 20 people 😅😆
i agree it grows on you for sure, the dialogue still makes me spam cross as much as i can, and i wish there was more weight in the combat, but i do keep loading it up
LOL. I looked at my total play time today...20 hrs with about 1/3 of the map explored. Loving the game.

Ha ha this is so true!! I said it was trash five hours in now I'm about ninety hours in and loving it.
I've played ten hours now and I do not understand the complaint of a lack of depth with combat. It's not the most intuitive but after you get a grasp of the combo system the combat is quite rewarding and fun. Guns are OP though.

I do understand the complaint. I didn’t bother with any of the tribe weapons except the boomerang because after that they were out scaled by the normal weapons, and a lot of the depth is in the wung fu. Using the best weapons stat wise being the trimurgel sword and the zapatronic? rifle lacks depth really. Unload rifle swing once or twice unload rifle again. That’s of course because I made the mistake of focusing on the abilities early to only be thoroughly disappointed with the results, and had to pivot to crit chance later on for the rifle. It may be possible if I stuck to melee combat it would have felt more deep, but the other issues with narrative, lack of dialogue, cookie cutter mission design, and lack of end game loot makes it extremely unlikely to do another run.

I'm currently lvl 53 Psi-Freak in this game, and I am still using Jagni Staff very regularly for its "helicopter mode" to cross over lakes, places with oil etc.
I defeated 3 World Eaters until now and 2 of them I defeated with the Ankati Bow (my first World Eater I defeated with the Octopod).
Against the negative reviews I definitely give this game an 8. Thoroughly enjoying it

I feel there is 80% story to 15% exploring to 5% combat.
Half the story and more than double the combat would ha e been better.
Every side quests is go and get this too, just wanted more variety

But dude, it's not even close to that when the game opens up. It's quite brilliant.
It takes me back to the PS3/360 era where Devs was still creative and daring before they fell into regurgitating formulas that are proven and never stepping outside the box.
I hope this game ends up being recognised for the outstanding job this small team of Devs managed to create. Wishing this is just the birth of an amazing universe to discover
@@aaronfarricker1475 I’m around half way through and the dialogue is repetitive as are all the missions. The villages have 4 buildings and maybe one or two npcs to talk too.
I dunno, just expected more. This is my last pre order of any game tho.

You can also jump before using blaze to launch yourself upward and with glider helps get mad distance off cliffs

The nunchucks are a one handed weapon so if you have dual weald one handed weapons you can put any weapon in your other hand and essentially upgrade the nunchucks. I’m using the healing flaming axe legendary making the nunchucks the most op weapon hands down.
Before I got the glider I kept using the pole (Jagmi staff) to fly over water I needed to get over to get to the other side! Very helpful tool.

Would be nice to see some more in depth stuff about the game, like mounts (from what I seen in discussions on Steam - a bunch of people can't find how to switch between 'em), which skill are good to get early, if karma system is "loose" enough to get some cool abilities etc.
Maybe best stats in the game? Though it's obviously Luck. Luck build is OP :D
You change your mount in the transportaion tab where the map/journal menus is.
Honestly this is what a game should feel like, compare this to any recent AAA game and it gives them a run for their money.
You can wield an other one handed weapon with the nunchuks and still keep the stunning effect this makes it great for end game

Hey man good video, but why would you tell people that they need to spend Perk Points to get the tribe weapon skills? One of the main bonuses of the Tribe weapons is that they come with all of their skills already unlocked. You only have to spend Perk Points for regular weapon styles and types. It's pretty nice really because early game you can focus three Perk points into your melee weapon of choice skills. and Then get The boomerang with it's ranged skills. or you can focus on a Gun Type, and get the Melee staff from the Jagni Tribe. Either way your left with a full melee and ranged arsenal of special Wung-Fu attacks. Which you can easily string together for Fast Super Wung-Fu spamming.
Do a video on using a mushroom then spam the fire dodge ability you can literally fly
i have them all and none of them are ultimate they're all legendary but not ultimate and the overall dmg of the jagni staff is abismal on my game
The mushroom skill is far better than the boomerang IMO.

So far I've found legendary, pants, headgear, and some parts. But have to lvl up to use them
One weird thing about this game is that there are no real animals in the world but the moves are named after real animals 🤔

There are quite a bit of animals that you can capture with your net. Not only the potatoe things. Birds, fuzzy tiny dog things, butterflies, otter things, and couple other things I cant really remember. Also an achievement you can get of you catch a 100 of them

I have a question about the gear. If there's for example a hat I like but it doesn't have the right stats on it. Can I find that same hat again with different stats? If not we need a transmog system for the game!
Yes you can find the same item w different stats. Transmog would still be cool tho
Newbie question: allying with a tribe prevents you from getting their rival tribe weapon, as in allying with myriad prevents you from getting the jagni's weapon ?
No, once you conquer an enemy tribes last fort, you loot their unique weapon as spoils of war.
You can get the staff and the boomerang? I'm not sure how to do that, I didn't realize they had the staff before I picked sides and unsure how be friends with them now
you can get the staff by defeating other tribes as jagni tribe or defeating jagni as other tribes, same thing applies to the boomerang which is own by myriad

I don't unlock tribal perks either, you only have to GET the tribal weapons.
the best weapon is the one u didnt craftet yet. assaultguns SELFMADE are the best.

Conquer their outposts, eventually capture the Fort and defeat them. You'll receive the staff...

I dont know if there are any ways of upgrading the tribe weapons, but im at level 47 and those weapons seem utterly useless.
I have some electric gloves but I can't upgrade them? Frustrating as yet
Tribe weapons are completely useless as damage dealers, they get eclipsed by craftable weapons, because they can be upgraded.
If you are not using the great, the powerful, the legendary Plunger.... you haven't gamed.

It's worth it man. The first few hours suck tho. Tons of stuff littered throughout the world, I've probably spent 20 hours exploring and uncovered 1/4 of the map

I would wait until it goes on sale. I enjoy the game, I think it's a pretty good one at that, but I don't think the game is worth the $60 price tag personally; more like a $35-$40 game.
You are using air combos all wrong, before you hit the slam stop and let it restart and then rinse and repeat to kill any small target in one combo
So I hear this game was made by 20 people and it shows. Very buggy and glitchy. It's fun but incredibly rough and it lacks polish. Also the game encourages you to go off the beaten path and explore and yet you encounter switches and puzzles that are locked for certain quests or missions but you don't know if it's locked because of a quest or it's just a glitch. So I had a mission where I was to go retrieve a mechanical dog. I get there, find the dog, then the next phase of the mission says "Get the dog to follow you back" so I'm trying to do things to make it follow but it just sits there and watches me. I look in my inventory to see if I have anything like a robot bone or something. Nothing. So I think if I just fast travel it'll follow me but when I do the dogs not with me and the mission marker is pointing to where I just left. So apparently you're supposed to fast travel, the dog doesn't teleport with you but when you go back to the character who the mission is for and interact with her the dog just magically appears. It was confusing cause I found a mechanical horse while in the world and I couldn't get it to do anything either so every so often I'm thinking is the game glitched or is it locked. The narrator interjects with the most random non sequitur babble but rarely provides anything useful. When you're searching for hidden items in an area the game provides locators to help you find them, it does it when you start off with 5-6 things but when you only have one last thing to find suddenly the game stops lending a hand. Some of the gear in the game looks absolutely horrendous so when you find something that looks halfway cool you want to keep wearing but the stats can be low. The good part is you can upgrade them and apply add-ons but the issue is the add-ons look like literal pieces of trash, which they are cause the game is about finding treasure in a giant dump, so when you apply the ghastly add-ons it ruins the appearance of the gear you actually like the look of. Also I'm locked out of the Tribe war storyline. When I get to the mission marker it's just floating in the air. My soldiers aren't there and whenever I go into the building it teleports me outside. When I see the Sifu he tells me I have one more outpost to conquer and yet I've already conquered them cause my clan is inside all the outposts. Sorry for the long rant, I'm enjoying this game for the most part but it has some issues that irritates me.
clan weapons suck IMO, they do not do enough damage to be useful in hard mode as they are instantly outclassed by crafted weapons. If you could upgrade them or slap addons on them then they would not suffer in the late game. I ignored the main quests and by the time I got them they just kinda sucked.
oh and pro-tip stone fist is OP, it basically puts enemies into the post-parry state of flying in the air and attacking them starts the riposte attack. Very good, why use any other on a melee build lol. The final dark ability is meh even with 100 int (really all powers are meh damage output in hard).

if you like looting, running around in a world, crafting and shooting stuff then you should enjoy it. Imo melee and psi is pretty clunky atm, but the devs will be patching the game, so far atleast melee will be adressed
I had to stop playing cuz my resistances randomly got reset to 5% which was annoying. Before that I'd give it an 8... now that, that happened I give it a 5. It pretty much ruined the game for me personally.
@@R.B.90 Hey bud, Yeah it's an unfortunate glitch that occured to me as well. It happens when altering your appearance. Whether in a vat of Bio-Hazard green goo, or even the Haircutter. what happens is it acts like your character reset it's resistances. but only If you spend a point into resistance right after the fact. to avoid this. simply save after the appearance change. and reload that save before using any bio points for resistances. when you reload it will bring in your new look but hard save your old resistance stats to that new look. so after when you spend your points it won't revert everything back to 0%. I had to play around to figure out a work around for resistance bugs cause it happened to me as well now with three characters. it's kinda a thing I'm just prepared for now. simply saving and reloading. also sometimes Radiation and Bio resistance would actually mix the values for bio-point costs.
So you could essentially get a 2-5 point resistance upgrade for just 1 if the opposite has that number attached. but the opposite also occurs.
Example Bio costs 5
Radiation costs 1
when clicking on bio. the upgrade would occur but only cost 1 instead of 4-5.
when clicking on Radiation that says it costs 1, it would cost the 5 that Bio should've costed me.
a workaround for this and exploit as well. Is to use the glitch to your advantage. by getting cheap resistance in one. then the other should cost much more then it's supposed to.
But w.e. value it shows will still be the requirement for upgrade. if you have more it will take up to the 5 or so instead of 1. but if you only have what it's supposed to cost. then it will only take that many.
Example it says it cost 1, but costs you 5. reload a save before you got screwed by the glitch, and spend those points somewhere else. until you only have the value equaling what it says it should cost. clicking on your upgrade here by-passes the glitch allowing you to get your upgrade but without the over-priced glitched cost.
Also Bio-resistance is most important first. so you can access Bio-Hazard zones(Old Nuclear plants). which are full of Bio-points to ugrade whatever you want.
@@devinrogerson3035 thanks that does explain what happened and how to work around it. Hope others read this to avoid it. Tbh I'm just going to wait for a patch, even if they don't fix that bug they might fix something else I've yet to run into. Better to be safe than sorry.

All of these weapons are only good at the lower levels of the game tbh. The dmg on them is trash compared to most other weapons you find and craft. Its a shame.

Definitly waiting for a major discount before getting this game. Too many failures in gaming these past few years with Outriders, Anthem, and the like, to get any game for full price any more.
Just read the comments on every biomutant guide video and you'll see almost everyone who has actually played the game loves it and disagrees with all the shill reviews. Better than most AAA games I've played.

Something tells me this guy is either paid by the devs or wants to be... and I hate being that person to say that but if you look at his vids he's done a ton of Biomutant vids and they are all positive when this game is bugged af. And no, his last vid talking about the bugs is not him addressing the bugs since that literally came straight from the developer n even in that vid he says "I haven't experienced any of this". I was hype for this game and still am but I played like 3 hours and the bugs were to much for me, so I'll wait. I'm not saying others can't play it and enjoy it, ofcourse you can but if you are going to make 2 vids a day on this game atleast address the bugs that are being talked about in your own comment section. His vids are solid but avoiding talking about bugs and maybe way players can avoid them is dishonest imo.
Maybe he didnt address it because he didnt experience it i got lucky to not experience it either but he's like this with other games i dont think he just doing it for the devs
First patch hasn’t come out yet and the bugs aren’t game breaking. Just relax! The devs will improve on what’s already a great game
