@@blinkgreg you can find the upgrade chests before the main quest. I had lvl 2 engine plus some other parts for the good glider when I first got it

@@whenigotojapan the funny thing is i dont have a problem with the price. If you take into account the level of detail that was put into the game and all the uniqueness and pretty much endless stuff to do I think its worth 60 bucks. There have been plenty of lazy developed games asking for 60 bucks. The biomutant devs were def not lazy.
Reviews are all over the place and it’s a game that you will either love or hate. There are parts of the game where I was annoyed as side quest became very redundant. Mounts were interesting but the speed needs to be increased as I would run faster that most of them. I really only used the googlider or ran.
I had hit a number of bugs, some game breaking and the auto targeting system could use some work.
Overall it’s a okay game but needs more work.
I'm obsessed with this game , and the devs listen to us! If a small company can do it, others have zero excuses. Never been so pleased to pay launch price 🙌

yeah, right after i bought it, i played it for a few hours and it was pretty neat, refreshing, the reviewers were too harsh. The only bit a little annoying was the narrator and the too cute story speaking but that wasn't a big deal the draw that made me look to purchasing was all the crafting and different attacking and the exploration and world.
Which turned out right to me.
Given the state that Cyberpunk came out in, I don’t know why this game has received so much hate.

From what I've seen it's either lazy gamers, gamers that want to be broken from the start of the game, or people that never touched the game and just jumping on the hate bandwagon like most people did for the last of us 2, there's a small group that actually played the game and still hate it but it's because there's to many fetch quest just like every other game like skyrim or fallout or because they can't make melee builds
It got so much hate cuz its a lot of great ideas, neat concepts, and amazing atmosphere, but the game itself isn't exactly fun in most people's eyes. The combat and missions especially are pretty repetitive imo

Right I love this game. The looting and crafting is so much fun. And so many side quests
actually most negative reviews are from people who havent played the game at all. In steam if you use a filter for play time, then the average score after just 1hr jumps to 75%. After 10hrs its 90% positive
Because people find it hard to think for theirselves and would rather absorb others (uninformed) opinions and make it their own
I'm having so much fun this game. I had about 33% of the map finished before I captured the first opposing tribes bases. I'm more than halfway thru lvl 29 with an 8* pri-murgel sword and I've become hard to kill for most enemies. I'm loving the quests and exploring so much.
It’s fun to look at and crafting is it’s best feature. BUT the missions are repetitive and the combat feels so soft
Really looking forward to getting that upgraded glider because the starting one is seriously underwhelming. I get more distance with the fireball than I do with the glider

Word, it's super fun and there's an absolute barrage of things to do / places to explore. Love the world, the NPCs, quirkiness, and combat. Biomutant has character.
@@pottingsoil723 the npc might aswell be lifeless they have no dialogue or unique personalities or anything interesting to say lol this game would've benefited more being more smaller scale uno they could've been able to do more to not everything has to be a huge dead open world

@@enoo9003 I personally would like a giant blimp that is the home. Or a castle! I feel that i can never loose myself in an open world game that doesn’t give me a home. Ie Skyrim has houses, NMS has freighter etc etc

This game has so many clever little gadgets, it’s kind of crazy that so many people are hating on it.
I like all of these mounts especially the whale, the mjut mount and the mechanical hand. Reminds me of the master hand from smash bros 😆
I'm yet to see a review including some footage of mounts, makes me wonder how long the journalists actually played it

Most gaming "journalists" and I use that term _very_ loosely play games almost as little as possible. They spend their days waxing philisophic pretending their vapid writings are Hemmingway or Thoreau, while working on their "activism" and figuring out how to call the next labor of love of a game some indie studio is working on "racist" or "supporting the patriarchy" so they can continue to gate keep for the big studios and help maintain their monopoly on the gaming space. I'd seriously stop listening to any "critics" at this point and either play games for yourself or if you feel you _must_ listen to someone, find people who actually play games for more than an hour.

This game is really good, I love it and can't wait to start a new game with a different character. Also yes you can turn off narrator and the comic font noises when you attack. Since those two features seem to put off people from trying out the game

Should note that the helipack actually interferes with your A A RT/X X R2/whatever on PC combo. It won't let you land on the ground so you're stuck in the air when you shoot. So if you use that combo a lot, might wanna equip a normal back item when getting into a big fight so you can actually land the shot. Edit: Nevermind. Found out if you press A after landingf from the first jump it can still trigger the combo. Though you had to double jump to use it but it just needs two A presses
I found out you can use sols trunk to go across large bodies of water. When you fall in and jump out of the water it take allot of energy but it regenerates by the time i fall back in.
Only started it at the weekend, and absofuckinlutely love it.

I was always confused about how to customize your mount: goo glide or mechatronic mount. I never noticed the wrench button allocated to the down arrow when on the mount. I’ll have to go try that out. Makes me feel stupid haha. I kept searching the menu and was getting frustrated/confused.

I love this game downloaded it last week and customization on point and the world massive . I just go around looting and leveling up . I keep doing missions and accidentally adding new ones to the list before completing active ones. 🙃 I keep seeing bad reviews and etc about this game & it don't add up.

Yes this game is freaking awesome, I'm about 80hrs in, there is so much to do, very fun😁🎮✌️
The gargantua is cool although a bit redundant with the googlider if totally upgraded. The blimp only being used in that one area and being kind of slow is a serious bummer. The other mounts are okay but nothing great.
To me though the funniest part is the easiest way to travel across the map has to be the levitate glitch. I assume it's a glitch because of it acts but it's a good thing it was never changed.
jump twice, then use levitate, then press R2 or the button to do the rifle double jump skill. You will hurtled about 100 yards across most terrain. If you hit certain angles right you can keep "bouncing" further. It's basically the only way to travel on land efficiently because once you get around 80 points in agility you are faster or as fast as any mount there is.
Khraze I found a way to get around needing the blimp for the upper islands
The game is so much fun. I just wish there was a transmog system.

You can bypass most missions allied to the correct group lotus wants to just conquer and thus the worldbeast don’t matter

I started with sabatour using dual weild melee weapons and advanced into the unarmed dual weild ranged weapons starting class means nothing in ng+ as everyone will find out why

Oh lol that’s how your ment to get to those islands you can also get there by getting up on the cliffs I think it was to the north and gliding across with your animatron
can you make the mech suit before you get the oxygen suit? because i got the side quest to get it but its way on the top of the map.

I climbed the first hot air balloon (1 hr into gameplay) and to my disappointment it was a workbench lol... anyways the game is soooo awesome and exploration is top notch.
What about Sol’s trunk? I think it’s just as good as the helipack. Might be harder to get early on though.

theres parts that look and act exactly like it, which are upgradable
You can actually upgrade the rarity or material of any weapon, it just takes a TON of crafting materials at one of the upgrade balloons you'll see over certain settlements. Probably more trouble than it's worth but it's possible. Break down a lot of gear to get enough crafting materials.
This is a solid, good, most importantly FUN 🤩 game! I think the hate comes from RDR2 kind of meat and bones rpg. We’re never getting that out of a non AAA massive studio. This game is so unique and so much mindless (which is great sometimes) fun

See how much shit there is to this game that reviewers obviously missed and didn't touch on? Yeah that's why reviewers need to spend at least a week with a game AFTER release so the collective community has time to really take in the game. Reviewers obviously cranked this game out with no intention of actually deep diving into it. Getting so sick of great games being lampooned by the internet because the majority of people on it lack any amount of competence.

Who pays any attention to reviews anymore? They are nothing but opinions anyway. Never mind none of these mounts are secret. That's just a keyword for the UA-cam algorithm.

@@alexubel i pay attention to all reviews because it allows me to rethink and potentially lean my views towards one idea or another. But the case with this game is apparent when you directly compare publication reviews to youtube reviewers. The youtube reviews that have spent over 60 hours with this game have vastly better opinions on it and nuanced details of everything the game has to offer. Most publications at max spent 20 hours with the game and felt that was enough to judge it when the campaign is at minimum 12 hours speed playing and is like 10% of the actual game.
I got very lucky and got all 3 of those engines on the first box for jetski
All the negative reviews were probably from people that didn’t give this game a long enough okay very fun game very different everyone should try
I just bought this game for 35 bucks and so far I’ve loved it and yes it is been buggy but so far they have not been bad enough to make me quit or get mad.

Yes you have to pick one of the first two introduced. But later you can change to the other tribes if you fit their requirements (evil or good).

Hi. I think I might have stumbled on a mecha horse (Mekamjut?) mount. I'm not sure if its bugged. I've completed the area with the exception of the last piece if loot to get. I can see it, it blips on my HUD and google/reddit doesn't pop when "Mekamjut" is searched. Ty in advance...

Я скрафтил себе одежду, которая увеличивает ману, и парил над чёрной жижей прямо до самих островов, потом искал на скалах углубления и отдыхал там, потом парил дальше вдоль острова, пока не нашёл что-то похожее на пляж, где можно было зайти на берег!
