How interesting that they show you if you choose to kill Lupa-Lupine, that kind of flashback of the protagonist's mother murdering what seems to be Lupa-Lupin's mother. That seems to indicate that there is a cycle, the cycle or loop of revenge. It would be very cool if, choosing to assassinate Lupa-Lupine but at the same time saving the Tree of Life, you were shown an epilogue in which the protagonist is shown years later having formed his own family with children... and that perhaps Lupa-Lupine had a son before he died and he wants to take revenge taking advantage of the fact that our protagonist has aged. And there it is, the cycle, the revenge loop, it would be a really poetic ending with a very strong teaching. Instead... the creators simply preferred to create a single ending and apply it to both paths. And I wonder why I would want to go in a spaceship to who-knows-where if the world was saved? Especially after all that I have done to make the world a better and peaceful place. It makes sense about the spaceship if you decide to destroy the Tree of Life, since it is very in line with your heartless and hypocritical way of being to leave the world after you screwed it up. But it doesn't make any sense if you saved it.
I was thinking the very same thing. For being good it's a cheap ending however it looks like as you've said they've tried to shoehorn both endings into a single fate.
One thing that was annoying was that even when I chose the dark path, the flashbacks kept making you seem like a good person, even when you say rude things in the flashback. I mean, I know your meant to be a good person, but it just seemed like none of the dialog really changed, which was the opposite of what the narrator said would happen
the world blows up in th dark one , i did think the same thought. but the combat is good and really enjoyed it , not the most difficult game but certainly fun and original
Personally, I expected more as an ending. Less than 3 minutes for all the work put in. Final fantasy 8 had a half hour ending, I think we've progressed backwards. I did enjoy playing biomutant though
I’m surprised that the narrator was the Mirage the whole time. I thought the Automaton was the narrator.
Yeah
yes
Same
Same lol
