July 3rd, 2008. The day my life changed. One little slip on the stairs and I'm no longer me. Thousands of dollars, injections, chiropractors, physical therapists, nothing has solved my back issues. I'm 110 lbs heavier with no real hope of finding a way out. Alcohol and pot are the only pain relievers I take and they just destroy me further. Not sure what's next.
I hate to recommend this but I live with severe back pain myself , have you considered strong opiates? because I never wanted to take them but it's a massive relief for me personally. of course it's the kind of medication that needs major caution to be applied.
I've noticed for over 30 years the drain of energy from chronic pain.
It's no joke.
I deal with chronic pain every day.

Chronic fatigue impacts mental health as well.
Drains testosterone too.
