Not only does Serek bang out some of the best basses ever made, but they also make a killer tutorial. Thanks Jake!

this is the best bass setup tutorial i have seen, i wish i had this when i was younger would have saved me a lot of time, you hit every important point and explained it well, also demonstrating it in real time is awesome to show how simple and easy a setup can be 10/10

Good tip on setting the intonation slightly flat to account for extra fretting pressure while playing. I'd never considered that before.

Great video, thanks Jake!!! Seeing the shop again brought back very fond memories of the Get Together we had there recently!!!

"Polish a turd"... man I love the way that bass looks and sounds. It ain't beaten up, it's alive! 😄❤ Anyway, currently at bass setup 11 all over the last 2 years with full fret levelling and polishing and I love learning how makers and luthiers go about theirs. Thanks so much for this. Serek basses rock!

I use the peg spacing as measurement. I'll go two peg lengths past the one I'm stringing.

That works great for a 4-in-line headstock!

    What a gorgeous guitar.
Jake, would it be possible to have a neck pickup adjacent to the neck (SG style) and a middle pickup in the P position?
Would love to get one like that in the future.

I tune once a month, whether the bass needs it or not. Kidding. Love that bass. Is it your number one?

It has been in the number one spot for a long time, but I rotate often.
