In this video I show you how to navigate through Amazon Seller Central, add your first product, and begin selling on Amazon for beginners in 2024. This step by step beginner tutorial will go into the relevant details on how to purchase UPC's, mark your brand, add your bullet points and description, and upload Amazon approved images.
Amazon has since required sellers to use GS1 approved barcodes. Now in 2024, do not use barcodemania or other third party barcodes when listing new products! A link is provided in the description on how to buy these approved barcodes.

Okay so i recently started Amazon fba and going down the ASIN number approach and selling already listed items. However I did make a mistake and bought 100 units of a product from alibaba and can’t use the same asin number as it has a brand on it and needed authentication from the other seller of this product (despite being the same generic not customised product - so I could see), with the UPC if I bought 1 of them and then got the UPC number can I then list this product as my own or will I still need verification? I want to sell the exist product on Amazon ( the first seller created Asin and has UPC )... but when I use UPCs Amazon does not give me an opportunity to change the description and my shop only exist as a link in the first seller shop descri[tion... may I buy the new UPCs to create new listing and Asin as well? it is against ToS of Amazon? my English is not the best to find out this info

@@midovinci Yes, you can just search for the product. You don't have to search for the UPC or ASIN. Make sure it's the identical product though!

After creating the new listing, do we create shipment in a different way or just the same way with the already existing products?

Hi, what do you put in brand name/manu when your brand isn't registered with their registry
You put generic
You put NA and move along. You put your brand name in the Manufacturer spot so that will be what shows on the listing.

No. You have to get one for each product listed. And if it's not yours to piggy back on, you think it's a good idea to steal an ASIN#?

1) Do you buy the product(s) before listing on Amazon or would you create the listing first so you know you can sell that product before buying from the supplier?
2) If the product has an ASIN code already, would you just look for that product and continue to add the product without purchasing an UPC code?

I do not like this GS1 personally because it does not benefit young sellers and small businesses.
GS1 is way too expensive. Only 10 codes for $250 US. That's just stupid.
I think Amazon is best if you only sell non-variational products. It will be best for sellers with more than 10 products to launch some of them outside of this marketplace.

Because if your brand has been patented-trademark you cannot use it. It has to be researched
