- In case you want to sell a new or used product that's already on Amazon, here's how to add an existing product on Amazon. It's quite simple compared to adding a new product listing. All you need is the product name and/or UPC to find the existing listing. From there, you can join the listing as a seller and make a sale!

Do we use their code? my second question is when we ship to Amazon warehouse (FBA) then we put the top of Amazon FNSKU code on executing UPC/EAN code?

Just a question regarding ship by seller or ship by Amazon, in order for it to be shipped from Amazon we have to first purchase the item from a store or something and then send it to Amazon for for them to have in the warehouse? Dumb question I know lol want to make sure I’m understanding everything clearly.

I really love your channel, you always guide me in my Amazon journey. I have a problem with my listing. After I did this video my inventory list shows other sellers' product. I create my own title and image etc. but in my inv.listing shows other seller titles, images, etc. It was also sold by not me. In your manage inventory screen if you're doing FBM. Otherwise, if you're using FBA services they'll update your inventory automatically once it arrives.

I have some questions here?
1) When we are able to add a product, does it means that the product doesn't have a patent on it? Since I heard that it is a very serious issue to sell a product that has a patent.
2) I added a product for listing and when I came back few days to check, I notice that there's is no picture available there. Even when I tried to look up the product on Amazon, I see that the product is no longer available. What does it mean? Do I need to add pictures? Or did the owner locked it?

Hey, could you please elaborate on how Amazon chooses a seller, who is selling the same product?
Like seller A and seller B is selling the same product. A customer places a order , which seller gets the order from Amazon? Is it like the first seller which accepts the order? Or is it Amazon which forwards the order to the seller?

Use their ASIN which is in the product details section of the listing. Scroll down until you see the table. You’ll need to check the limitations as I show you in this video because every product varies if you sell it new. Someone probably owns that branded product and you may need to get their approval. You can always sell it used however.
what about the listing will it be the same as the existing listing or you have to add the images and description

Thanks for the video. I am confused with all the other videos I see about selling an existing product on Amazon. I do not want to be a hijacker. If I have a brand new exact match of the item that came out of my search and the option to sell that particular item is available under the "Show Limitations" section (meaning it is allowing me to do it and does not say I have to contact someone or apply to sell), does that mean I am okay to list mine and will not be in trouble later on?
If there are no limitations and you are not claiming to be the brand owner, there's no issue and you can sell that product!

Amazon doesn’t allow me to change the listing content, saying need the listing holder’s approval. But the listing holder is not the brand holder, they just create the listing earlier then us. We are the authorized distributor and our name is even printed on the box. Why is that ? Amazon changed one of the product but refused to change the rest.

If it's a branded product, you'll need a Letter of Authorization (LOA) from the brand owner and usually a resellers certificate from your state.

I am a little confused after watching this video. For example I have ordered from Alibaba some items (mats) to my home address and planning to sell them on Amazon through FBA. There is already a product which is the same as mine on there. Do I just add as an amazon product or add as a new product?
Add it as a new product to the existing listing. Find the ASIN of that listing and use that when adding your product.
Hey we are based in uk, And trying to sell some products from us (as well fro other countries).
We have run into an issue with listing branded products.
Most of the times we can’t list product that are listed in USA using same ASIN number. But we can’t create a new listing too as we get brand copywrite issue and listing get removed.
But 2ce we did manage to create listing anyway using editing asin. And a bit confused now why sometimes we manage to create listings and how to create listing for products that are not listed on Amazon yet.

Hi, i am new to amazon seller central but i am getting an error code say 8541 it says specified cant be used as it conflicts w/ the value of 600.0 … i am assuming that this product asin was active before? But this product is available somewhere in another country but not in the US.
After I pick the fulfillment channel, I don't get any shipping options except a section and then asked me if I want to ship to US, Canada and Mexico. I don't know why mine is different

If it's a brand protected product, you'll have to request approval to sell the product "new" from the brand owner.

How do I list a product which barcode is non on Amazon. For example, I have a Barbie doll that I purchased from an Authorized distributor

Then you'll have to purchase one from GS1.org or sell it as generic (GTIN Exemption)

Hi, I added a new listing on Amazon and was able to sell it new. However, after I started gaining some sales I received an inquiry notice from Amazon saying that they received a complaint from the rights owner saying that I am selling counterfeit products and I have violated the intellectual rights. I buy my products from a legit wholesaler and have a valid invoice and had explained it to Amazon but they stated that it was not enough and that they will deactivate my account within sixty days. I am asking you as a new seller what can I do to solve this issue and avoid future issues like this.
