Another enjoyable video of you boys riding the Alston North Loop. There are some wonderful forts and museums on or about Hadrians Wall but to visit, you need time and the need to put your hands in your pockets.🤣👍🏍
Morning Steve. Thank you. Fantastic video. Good run out. Enjoyed that .Nice to see John settling in to the team .it's a shame mossy is not microphone up .he's a funny fella (petrol station ILL HAVE A PINT ) you could make a video just on mossy remarks over the years. Thanks again Steve. The old fella.
Great ride out once again Steve & the Gang, Here's a blast from the past, I can remember the commentators talking about the " Keilder Forrest" section in the RAC Rally, back in the day, think they did it in the dark at night time .
Hi Steve 😊 great video, I live close to the Chesters roman Fort and often blast out on the military road (roman road) or around Keilder 😊 shame I wasn't on the road that day as it would of been great to see you guys, hope you enjoy your tour of this fab area😊 best wishes Steven from Northumberland 😊.
Steve i was up there at the beginning of last week, all roads to myself but just mised going over to Holy Island but got some good photos, beautiful area to ride.
Beautiful areas to ride those lovely bikes. I've ridden quite a lot in those areas on our Pans and FJRs. As a former vlogger, I admire your quality production.
@Steve-Clark Hi Steve. I don't watch many vlogs now due to not riding now but came across your video today. Your RT1250 is an absolute beauty, my favourite colour. I had 23 fantastic years of riding (1980-1990 & 2004-2017) and toured much of our beautiful part of England extensively. Aren't we lucky to have roads and scenery like we do? All the best. Biker Paul.
We are really lucky and don't think people realise how good our roads and scenery are half the time. mines the 1200 version Paul. will have a look at your vids in a bit mate.
@Steve-Clark My good friend Graham had a grey 1200RT. He absolutely loved it. He like me was a 'Pan Man' but with Honda not updating the 1300 and the FJR being too high, he found the RT (15 plate) perfect.
Brilliant stuff Steve, fantastic scenery and photography. Myself and a mate had a week up there in April, bloody baltic it was but the roads and scenery made up for it, great series this.
Nice roads. Good video! 👍. Just purchased both Simon Weir books - Europe and the UK 2nd edition. I know you can also download his gpx routes, at a cost, from his website but I find the paper form gives everything context when planning and the satnav is a great navigation tool.
There are 4 books in all, three are for britain and one europe. I have all 4 and they are great to adapt to your own taste. Thanks for watching my friend and ride safe.
Surprised you did not go to Hawick Museum to see Jimmy Guthrie & Steve Hislop's bikes, trophy's , leathers etc plus the two Statues of them in the grounds as they were born there and resedendts of Hawick. Well worth a visit and Free as well
Brilliant as always and welcome to (almost) my part of the world! I'm just a bit further west, the other side of Carlisle, but enjoy the roads around there as much as you! 👍
Shame you didn’t it go 10 mins north of the Olive Tree to Hermitage Castle (straight on before turning right to Hawick) if you wanted a bigger ruin. Not in bad nick for a 13th century castle. Keep up,the good work!
Hiya Steve, hope all is good with you. You might remember me, I have exactly the same bike as you. Are you still enjoying the RT? I continue to really enjoy your videos. Keep them coming. Do you ever use hill assist? If so, do you find it a help? Anyway ride safe, and take care.
Hi Brian I use hill assist all the time, I use it like a handbrake though pull the brake to put it on and then pull the brake to release it. You can just rev a bit harder to automatically release but sometimes I'd forget and stall it 🙄 think it's a great option to have my friend. Ride safe
Just back from a couple of days in this area,Northumberland and the Scottish borders are fabulous motorcycling areas. Don't share or there will be wall to wall camper vans.........bloody things😞
Hi Austin the only video I have done about planning a tour is this one ua-cam.com/video/Qff3bqHxrag/v-deo.htmlsi=5bk2QwwsaTthPpju But it doesn't actually show you me transferring a route to unit, maybe something for the future.
@@Steve-Clark-1200rt well steve you must be a clever fella because i have had 2 nav units now the first was a used nav 6 which was god awful the second an almost new nav 5 old stock which is obviously near enough same unit barring the nicer screen this nav 6 is faultless but planning a route and putting it on my nav seems to need me to pass a degree course. Might have another try this week as i am planning a couple of nights camping in northumberland / scottish borders hopefully later this week
Austin don't know wether you use Garmin Basecamp to plan routes but it's what I use and it's FREE. I learnt so much from this guy and this playlist might help you as he explains everything so clearly. ua-cam.com/play/PLUITrLiScG8LmVB9tCLhUth6ii6T8NCBy.html&si=GvUmdkmLMJ2PW5iT
