Thanks. It's a great place to visit if you like lakes and trees. Just throw in some sunshine and you're all set.

Thanks. I need to go back this summer. I only had one day there and the weather wasn't the best.

    Super drone footage of Kielder.
This is really the only way to grasp its beauty and size.
Good choice of music Zigzag. thanks for the share.

Thanks. I only had one day there, so I had to take pot luck with the weather. But, I only live an hour away so. I'll be back when the ferry is running normally and I can get round the far side without having to torture my dodgy knees on my bike.

Absolutely first class 🙂 it's been so many years since I've been there. Great sound track too 👌 keep it up .

Thanks. It was a windy and dull day so I had to make the most of it.

Brings back fantastic memories of my visit there 3 months ago. Ironically, I think we flew from the same 3 areas - from the picnic benches by the dam, from the viewpoint, and from a lay-by near the weir at the top end. How spooky is that! Thanks for the video, very relaxing to watch :)

Thanks. This was the first time I'd been to Kielder since buying my drones. I had to film the top reservoir and weir from the road end coz the road down to the car park was barriered off due to recent logging. The weather wasn't great, so I'll have to go back.

@@StevieProton Its a stunning location, always worth repeat visits :). Again, ironically, when I was there the wind was strong enough that the Mavic 3 was finding it hard going.

I've took to adding a few captions to my videos. Don't know if they work or not.

@@StevieProton I'm in 2 minds myself on my channel. On the one hand, I like the pure video with no commentary, but I've had a lot of comments that viewers are struggling to understand where the drone has flown to. So maybe the few, unobtrusive labels you've added pointing out landmarks are a good compromise?

@@theboy-uk Yeh thanks. I like to treat my videos as a sort of documentary type and nothing too arty. Living in the Lake District I see loads of photos and videos we've all seen before.

I could not think of a better way to explore this water feature than with a sailing dinghy........but I live in OZ and that is a long way away.....sigh.

Another beautiful video, thank you for sharing. It brought back memories from many years ago when I used to go wind surfing up there (I was a lot fitter and younger then).
The drone handled really well in that wind, I could see from the trees and the water just how strong it was.

Thanks. I've been there loads of times to ride my bike but that was the first time since I got my drones. It certainly was very windy but the M3P performed pretty well.
