What a cool gift from your friend! He sure does some really nice leather work. That braided lanyard is beautiful. We got a knife review and a bow drill lesson in one video today and I sure enjoyed it! Thanks Kevin and keep em coming my friend. We appreciate you and thanks for sharing.
Howdy Shane. I think I'm the one who got a bow drill lesson! Just when you think you have it figured out, it rains. It was fun, though, and the new knife worked out great. I appreciate you too, my friend. I was thinking about naming the channel West Fork Woodsmen, because without you guys, this place would be a ghost town. Have a great week!
Cool little knife that was able to do what needed to be done. The bow and drill method clearly takes patience and practice, but you stuck with it and enjoyed a matchless fire in the end. Another enjoyable and educational video Kev. Thanks for sharing it. 🔥🌲
Howdy Pinepuppy. Yeah, it took a while to get fire. Mostly it was my location hunkered under that tree with hardly any clearance. That, and some bad execution carving the v-notch. Feeling rushed by the rain was probably my first mistake. That pitch saturated grass bundle sure did torch up fast! Thanks for checking in, my friend.
That's a neat little knife...a feller can never have too many knives. Thanks for showing the struggles you had with the bow drill that day. It sure isn't easy, especially in those conditions. Persistence pays off in the end. Have a blessed day!
Don't bet money on me just yet, Mo. I was going beyond my skill level, once the rain came. Thanks for coming along, my friend. I hope you are having a great weekend!
It sure is handy. Thank you for visiting my channel. I see you like fishing a lot. I am going to try making a primitive catch and cook video with natural cordage and wooden hooks. Take care, and come again, any time.

Thanks for watching, Bob. You have a wonderful day as well.
Another excellent skills demonstration. Impressive getting it done in damp conditions.

I need to get me one of those. Handy little knife. 👏

Hello from lapland
Hello fellow bushcrafter. Best wishes from the Pacific Northwest. Thank you for watching!
Remind me to send you a good Case pocket knife.
I always carried Case knives when I was a kid. Good ones, they are. Those tarheel made Boker Tree Brand knives are darned good, too!
@@WestForkWoodsman Never like Boker, but a lot of people carried them. They were cheap to buy and us mountain folks ain't made of money.
