I used 32 legendary crests the day before the event started and went 0-32 on five stars. I bought another 24 Lego crests and went 0-24 so I am currently 0-56 crests to 5 star drops. I feel the drop equation is lower than the pathetic chances we allegedly get! Very very disappointing. I think Blizzard could afford to actually give us something for the hundreds we spend.
Remember you need to count the number of gems that drop after the 5* during the same run.
That's why I quit putting money on the game. Because that's how all my runs look like. Don't feel bad. You're not alone
I ran multiple runs of 10 crest. Got four 5* drops. None of them were from the drop table I picked!
I had the same experience as you. There is no difference between this event and a normal run.
The main thing is the game doesn't have a crest counter for the pity system, for both crests.
That's why I decided to write down each and every leg/eternal/mixed crest run, for over a year now.
That's one of the reasons I quit doing these runs in groups, but solo (just use rare crest on those, for the weekly 120/120 embers), more control too.
I write down how many if each crest I use in the run, even which map and boss I killed, I print the gems I got, and sum it up on my personal counter, only resetting it on 5* drops.
It'd be perfect if the game itself showed it to us, more precise, but writing it down myself I at least know with a bit more precision 'when' I close to get another 5*, and/or if I've been lucky, like dropping one, let's say, when my counter of one type of crest is at or below 30/50 crest used, when a 5* drops.
Having to choose 8 isn't the least bit enticing as a low spender when I'm personally only using one 5 star gem in my build. So this event is an easy pass for me.
I think blizzard / netease will realize the most important point you raise, which is a more and more gems get introduced the one you need has become harder. it will eventually be a permanent feature, or at least a highly reoccurring event
I ran 70 crests and got 4 total 5 stars 2 were not on my list. It seems like its pointless.
Ive noticed a bunch of characters with random letters or numbers at lvl 30 running 10 eternal leg crest runs and they dont even run the rift just leave after its done

Interesting thing today : Blizzard has got a notice about problems with purchases not showing or processing in the market and shop, and they are looking into the problem and will have it fixed as soon as possible. STRANGE THING IS THERE IS NO SUSAN EXPRESS ANYWHERE TO BE SEEN IN WORLD CHAT, SO IS SUSAN EXPRESS REALLY BLIZZARD.
This event is a sham - I got a 2/5 star gem except it was not one of the 8 in my list. I had my Legendary Gem Pool selected and can confirm that it was not one of the 8 gems on my list - Extremely disappointed.
I’m always surprised how many people fall for these (spend your money) events. As a really light spender

Based on own experience, and from my other peers, the legendary drop rate DOES increase. It is noticable to the point that for those who ran 10LC, it is common to see two 5 stars in a single run, and I've seen three 5 stars too! The tooltip that says the selected gems drop rate is increased by 150% is not a typo indeed. The logic seems different from previous Priority Drop event.
I bought 20 orange last night and 10 purple and got all one star gems from both crest. Hopefully next weekend will be better for me
"Your chance of getting drops is the same..." , which is crappy. Same thing happened to me on day 1 of this..3 runs..didn't get jack crap.
Love how they host a new event for gen drops and at the same time the shop crashes. So for the people who have or had money to spend took it to some where else that actually wants there money.
As a person who spends way too much on a game. These bugs are now annoying a lot of people with money….and when people don’t get what they want to buy, they spend there money at other places. And it seems like it’s already happening and blizzard is panicking
I'm not doing any more drum drops until I see one with a positive outcome. I've gotten absolutely nothing we're talking about for the last two events.
The only time I have ever gotten a 5/5 was a bound Howlers Call.

I wasn't doing Modified Drops... I did score a 3/5 BSJ. This is probably my best natural roll.
To your point at end having the Mod Drop Tbl event more regularly (monthly, bi-monthly, or quarterly) would be a nice add. I need higher quality 5* before I really do my next upgrade

I use to spend for crests. But around the beginning of the year, I notice that my elder runs were not as rich any more. I'd only get a 5* is when the pity counter kicks in. And then, I often get a blessing of the worthy (less) gem. It just wasn't worth doing anymore. So I stopped buying crests months ago. And only do crest runs (with farmed embers) uring double gem events.
Used 30 crests and got 2 2stars first run and 2 3 stars second. Nothing on last run. Not the gems i was after but was useful to me. Last time used crests was for mirrored. Did two runs and got a 2 star, mirrored 3 star and a 2 star mirrored 2 second run. After event ran one and got 4 star. So have had a bit of luck lately. Prob be awhile before i get anything useful again
odds are i wont do the mod drop rifts. im saving up for the nxt mirrored event

I lucked out and got a 4/5 star Gloom Cask (one run with 10 eternal legendary crest) which is kinda "ehh" and weird becuase it wasn't even on the list of 5 star gems that I choose and wanted but geuss I'll be using it later down the road or as you've mentioned save it til market price goes up
The chances of 5-star gems dropping are incredibly low. Strange that at certain times it wasn't like that, like when Roiling Consequence or Hilt of Many Realms were released, a lot of gems dropped.
I got a 3 star bottle hope, 3 star frozen hart, 3 star gloom, and 2 star storm vault out of 40 legendary and 30 eternal crests
I did 2 10 crest runs , one purple and one red. I got 2 5star gems from each and every single gem was on my drop table, my luck was awesome , idk why everyone else’s was so bad lol all 2/5 and 3/5 though unfortunately
What i'd like to see is the option to use just part of the weapon cosmetic on a character; if you choose frostmourne sword, you can't avoid getting the frostmourne shield cosmetic as well. I'd much prefer the "tyrael" shield cosmetic and frostmourne on my necro. I know necros are renowned for using scythes but in my opinion a sword should also look nice. I, however, don't like frostmourne shield.
Hi echo. I did 3 runs was lucky I dropped 2 5 stars. Not the gems I was looking for.. Its better to buy platinum. You get what you want. We have been asking for this Rift modifier for a long time. I find it ironic. Blizzard destroys the market making gems decrease in value. Alot of players stop buying crests. And finally we get the rift modifier.
I did a couple of 10 crest runs, and got 3 5*s, 2 at 2/5 and 1 at 3/5, so I was pretty happy. Didn't get any of the ones that I *really* needed, but I'm never gonna complain when a 5* drops...

If it makes you feel better at all, I'm a day 1 player, and that's by far the best percentage drop I've ever had. I'm a very low spender too 👀
Did three 10 crest runs. First two were busts. Third got me two 5* gems, one of which was from my list of preferred drops.
Echo you do not need fervant fang and blood soaked jade .I would replace fang with either Mothers Lament or Roilling consequence ..
did 2x 10c runs did score 2x 5* 50% chance it would be 1 of the 8, got lucky once, the 2nd drop was food! fun fun
Hello from Cambodia, please try 10 normal crest for every rift. At the 5th run, you can change to legendary crest then you will have higher chance to get 5-star legendary gem. Interm of eternal legendary crest is the same ratio 😇. It worked for me from F2P account (I got 2-star of 5star legendary gem), thank you.
I got all 1 star on a 10 crest run. Haven't got any thing good in a while
Pity is at 50 crests. Would have needed 20 more crests for a chance at a legendary gem

Careful scrapping legendary gems... Be sure and check to see if any of your gems can be socketed and upgraded in your Gem Resonance sockets first before you scrap them; unless the benefits from acquiring Gem Power and upgrading is greater.
It says 150% drop chance of the selected gems…I call BS…did 3 full legend crest runs and got crap…absolute crap. Seriously all 1 stars. Blizzard throw us a bone worthy of biting on.
I may have been lucky on my 10 Legend Crests giving me Starfire and Bottled Hope as I set but in day 3 I still don't get the Jade Rod on Fishing Frenzy event. 😔
Friends, I know this is off-topic BUT do some of you have trouble obtaining the Lich king Portal from the current event?? I do everything required , event menu says it is obtained but in my cosmetics list game shows 1/2 and the portal is locked saying “Unlock”. Please someone help me, I don’t know if this is a bug and what should I do to get this portal. After winning the 3 dungeons I bought both battle pass and orbs bundle 😐😐
From what I've experienced, the probability of 5-star gem drops is *lower* when using the modified legendary gem drop. For shame Blizz.
This event didn’t even feel like an actual event at all. The 5s drops didn’t change or matter. Might as well did not have this event where the chance of getting your preferred 5s gem is just as nil as a regular day.
Early in the game i had that much luck that i got a five out of five star Seeping Bile! And recently i found a five out of five star Blood soaked Jade. =O)

I did 1 solo 10 Lego crest run last night, and it was like Christmas! Got two 5* gems and a gold rune 😅
I got screwed with his too. I picked my 8 legendary gems, and I got a howlers call. I didn't pick a howlers call. 150% chance should be guaranteed. My legendary 5* should have been 1 of the 8 I picked and it was not.
They will always put time restriction for enhance drop, to drive ppl spend money… FOMO effect…
I avoid combine purple and lego Crest.
If 5 star gem didn't drop for a while, then I go with purple and rare.
In that way, if a 5 star gem drop it will be for selling.
My last 5 star gem was go on market for 20k and I need gem that cost 50k plat.
Imagine any other triple A game ( I am generous here:) in world, where you spend 50 bucks per month on game where you can not advance.
That is 600 bucks per year!!!!
For 600 bucks, you can buy every Bethesda game in history and still have money to get subscription for Raid Shadow Legends:))

Gems and all those events related to gems are “money-devouring pits”. I would love to spend on skins or battle pass… but for these gems and gems event, I will say they are just a waste of time and money… such low dropping rate.. how come ..

This crap event is done so that you spend your legendary crests and get nothing in return, with some friends of my clan we already tried spending 50 legendary crests and
it is assumed that at 50 you would get a 2/5 gem and we dont get a single one, after this We believe that Blizzard nerfs these events and reset the counter and
lowering your chances of obtaining a gem 2/5.
In the ticket we sent they told us that it was due to an error but that did not return the used crests. absolute scam.
with that scam plus the little possibility of obtaining good gems and raising resonance and with the market currently dead.
This game is no longer worth it either for f2p or for p2w, because there are no guarantees of obtaining the gem that is needed and
being able to improve the character, they have practically chained us in all possible aspects of the game

I ran 50 crests and got 1 5 star gem, but not one that i picked. Told a friend, and he did the maths on this. it says 150% increased chance, so with all the gems you can randomly get when running crests and the 150% chance added in, you only have a 36% chance to get a gem you want .SO ITS A SCAM, and without the 150% chance, your odds are 18% or lower. And we all know how blizzard is with maths😅😅😅😅
Having to pick EIGHT is just frustrating. Like Fractured Plane having to choose SIX, all it does is frustrate me. Fractured Plane should be 3 or 4 at most, and Legendary Gems should be FIVE. I haven't ONCE ever got the Lego I chose, not once. FIX IT BLIZZARD YOU CHEAP BASTARDS! 😆

I'm not impressed with most of the the new events to be honest! The fishing event, I've spent several hrs between the past 2 days and I've only gotten 3 leg fish and 2 of the special things that come up from it! I still haven't been able to get the green pole! There is no point in trying to do the PVP event because of the huge whales and I rarely ever get a 5 star gem in elder rift! These are not for ftp people at all!
