Chip of Stone is THE MOST argued about gem in the game. No one can agree on what Total Loss of Control is and isn’t, and there is zero real guidance on it. And yes, there is a difference between Total Loss of Control and Loss of Control in game.
That's because the game doesn't specifically tell you either yet some Dash skills or player skills are considered "loss of control" just because they move the enemy. I don't think we as players have access to any Total loss of control like Magic using boss monsters have. Could be wrong tho.

Yeah the pity drop is ridiculous. If you’re paying real world cash you should have the same chance at the drops on the first run as the tenth and so on. I’m a few thousand into the game but won’t be spending anymore EVER! Just not worth it

It's 50 crest pity. The first one he got reset the counter. So he's guaranteed another 5* on the next 10. Legendary crests and enternal legendary crests have separate counters.
Know you can make another class through the same account and receive the same full battle pass rewards? You can't get the character skins more than once though. Everything else such as the reward and loot, yes.
I think that a legendary crest should Atleast guarantee a 2 star gem and the rare crest should guarantee a 1 star gems. Wouldn’t break the game and would help with getting gem power and getting a 1 star gem while using a legendary crest feels like a slap in the face
might sound crazy but my last 3 ten ELC+LC runs i have gotten at least 1 5-star. (in a row) the luck in this game is wack, but as long as its in my favor 🤷♂️

Chip of the stoned flesh is garbage. One of the reasons being the game NEVER tells you which skills are Loss of Control. Not to mention the fact that anyone using this gem should already be doing enough damage to kill most things in 1-2 hits anyway so that explosion is wasted as things are going to die before that 45 percent of damage dealt comes into effect. Lastly on the bosses which WOULD survive the attacks long enough for the explosion to occur arent effected by loss of contril at all they're simply immune to it. It shouldn't even be a 5 star gem. 2 star at most.
Hell, I didn't think the moment would come when I'd come across a film and see a grown man, probably with kids and a family, getting excited about spending over $100 and getting a 3-star gem for it, which is the only benefit he'll get in his life will be that in a virtual world he'll be able to beat another player by being stronger than him.
Let the Chip go. It's too expensive to start upgrading a new 5-star. I've even had to use a bound 4/5 Gloomcask as food because I just didn't need it :(
And that is why I stopped spending. Of my last 37 crests, only 2 have been two stars. All the rest one stars. It's simply not worth it. I'll be free to play moving forward, until they make the game more fair. In my clan one guy ran 20 crests and got 5 five stars, but he is a huge spender. I'm not saying they give the whales unfair bonuses. But something isn't right. So, the RNG needs to be fair for all. Or forget this game being around for long. Because the whales are nearly all maxed now and revenue is going to be going down...a lot. Only way they can maintain it is to encourage the low to mid spenders and they aren't doing that.
You’re only guaranteed 1 5* drop per 50 crests. And the orange and purple crest are counted separately. It’s all in the info tab on the Elder Rift. Anything more that 1 in 50 is luck of the RNG. So…sounds like the system is working as intended with your case.

Different crests have different pity counters. So if you mix matched your legendary crests. You could go 0 in 98.
this is odd since 40LC quite solid sure fire a 5 star. 80LC should be at least 2.
