- Welcome back to Pro Shop. In this video I'm back on the Holden EH removing the last of the rust from the K frame and hopefully the entire car. I also fit the tyres to the jigs so we can get the measurements for the new wheels. Stay till the end where I show the new project to arrive.

Mate your fabrication work on the EH is absolutely top notch 👍
I'm really enjoying watching your vids Pete, at 72 yrs you're bringing back a lot of fond memories. My first car was an EH . Love your explanations and the quality of your work is amazing, cheers
Thanks Geoff. I reckon I have spoke to every EH owner in the comments of these videos. I love it!
Great video! That air hacksaw tip is brilliant. Interested to see how the FJ turns out.
Thanks. Glad you liked it!!
Nice work. Love seeing the progress. Im a boilermaker, can appreciate the work you put into it.
Keen to do a full custom/resto myself oneday
Lovely work as always Pete. You're a good teacher.
Most people including myself do not realize the amount of skilled workmanship and time that goes into a build project like the EH. Very interesting and I look forward to the next video. 👍
Cheers mate
First time watcher of your channel and I thought it was great. Big fan of the old Holdens, old man had an EH Wagon. Also very informative.
Thanks Bradley
Excellent work mate. That ute is going to create envy in many.
Thanks Dennis
Amazing work mate. Have enjoyed watching every episode.
Thanks for watching them William. Plenty more to come
Love that you retain as much of the original panels that you can, instead of just ripping everything off and fabricating from scratch 👌
That humpy also looks mint 👌
Thanks Pat. I prefer original on the outside and custom on the inside.
Awesome as always 👍
Excellent work
Wish I could afford to send my EH ute to you for a restoration the same as this one, it has been locked away in my farm shed for over 15 years just waiting for the day to be brought back to life, still running and complete, but sure does need a lot of work 😂
Love your work, looking forward to seeing this masterpiece finished 🤘🏻
Thanks mate. This one had a similar story. Lock away for over 10 years.
Ditto to 5052,have kept Dad's" bought new" EH ute in farm shed since 1988,but totally rusted out ! Would Love to send it to this workshop for rebuild.
Keen for the gapping vid, also keen to see how/what filler you put when attaching the k-frame down the track, when I took mine off it there was tons of seam sealer type stuff in there. 👍
Cheer mate. Gapping video should be out next.
This is such a great project to watch ❤
Thanks Dean. I'm really enjoying building it
Nice work Pete 👍👍
Thanks Bill🙏
Great job mate 👍👍👍
Thanks 👍
Thanks mate, awesome work as usual..!
Thanks again Mick!
With the front wheel clearance, if you’re turning a corner and you hit a bump, the wheel is still going to hit the guard isn’t it? Love your show 🙂.
Thanks Wes. Yeah it will be close. More than likely it will either go up a touch or I add bump stops to the steering. This is just a guide to order the wheels.
Awesome vid , very interested in seeing fj build 👍👍👌
Thanks Paul.
Great work mate 👌🏼
love watching your vids, quality work which is a credit to you'' wouldnt mind sending my tonner to you
Thanks Richard. I wish I could take on more jobs
Once mounted and inflated , the tires can balloon and then you run into the wrong dimensions.
Wow
Love watching your videos Pete very informative and talented work as always and I love EH Utes those wheel alignment things are cool . Found the best rust proofing stuff in box sections penatrol by PPG I pay about $80 for 4L a old engineer guy told me about it works really good because it penetrates into the seems better than fish oil, or, 506 and seals it out to atmosphere moisture water 💦
Thanks for that tip Michael. I'm definitely going to check that stuff out. I want my work to outlast me😁
@@ProShop1 Bunnings
@@michaelbyrnes7944 Excellent👍
Doest the engineer check tyre clearance at full bump and full lock to ensure no contact with guard or bodywork? Love the work you've done so far but. Going to be awesome.
Yeah the engineer will check all that so I better get it right first
Which welding method is stronger, mig or tig or stick ??????
What size tyre are you running on the front and what was the back space
Coming along well, how good are the aftermarket panels ?
I was actually quite surprised how well they fitted.
@@ProShop1 Great work and more motivation for me to get on with my project. Are the guards from Rares and the door skins from CraigV (Rust a Problem)?
@@in_the_shed_64 Yeah. I should have the gapping video out next and I can show you how they fitted.
First bam 😂 watching 👀 🇦🇺 🍻 🦘 🏔 🌨 👀 🇦🇺 🍻 🦘
Thanks for being number 1👍
@ProShop1 your welcome, I'm going to show the wife 🤫 see love I'm number 1 🤣😅🤣😅🦘🇦🇺🍻
Nice Work.when u build your EH Holden's Ute's.u would see the drain tube that goes from dash pendulum chamber thru to firewall .This causes Rust at bottom of guards
Yeah so many Holdens had that problem
