  • Welcome back to Pro Shop. In this video I'm back on the Holden EH removing the last of the rust from the K frame and hopefully the entire car. I also fit the tyres to the jigs so we can get the measurements for the new wheels. Stay till the end where I show the new project to arrive.

    Most people including myself do not realize the amount of skilled workmanship and time that goes into a build project like the EH. Very interesting and I look forward to the next video. 👍

    Love that you retain as much of the original panels that you can, instead of just ripping everything off and fabricating from scratch 👌

    Wish I could afford to send my EH ute to you for a restoration the same as this one, it has been locked away in my farm shed for over 15 years just waiting for the day to be brought back to life, still running and complete, but sure does need a lot of work 😂
    Love your work, looking forward to seeing this masterpiece finished 🤘🏻

    Keen for the gapping vid, also keen to see how/what filler you put when attaching the k-frame down the track, when I took mine off it there was tons of seam sealer type stuff in there. 👍

    With the front wheel clearance, if you’re turning a corner and you hit a bump, the wheel is still going to hit the guard isn’t it? Love your show 🙂.

    • @ProShop1
      @ProShop1  Місяць тому +1

      Thanks Wes. Yeah it will be close. More than likely it will either go up a touch or I add bump stops to the steering. This is just a guide to order the wheels.

    Once mounted and inflated , the tires can balloon and then you run into the wrong dimensions.

    Love watching your videos Pete very informative and talented work as always and I love EH Utes those wheel alignment things are cool . Found the best rust proofing stuff in box sections penatrol by PPG I pay about $80 for 4L a old engineer guy told me about it works really good because it penetrates into the seems better than fish oil, or, 506 and seals it out to atmosphere moisture water 💦
