I got a 96 5.9 12v I think they were series a Cummins before the swap to 24v mine is a crew cab and I didn't want to move axles or any of that so it'll have a 13 and 1/2 (169") dually bed it took 3 beds to build one and I got lucky one of the beds I had gotten was still a long bed but only one rear tank front half of that bed is my header I took the header off the dually matched up floors but here's the trick to doing this the bed side consists of inner and outer molding cut it in a chunk off separate on the ground then tack in place then weld but I'm bed lining the entire truck mine is white so I think I can get away without doing door jams but mostly to kinda toughen the truck up I have fiberglass repairs to do also but not bad and also when building these into pickups if you just set the bed on the truck frame you'll be off half a foot I'm using 6" c channel getting 2 21ft sticks cut 13'6" then the remainder for cross members
This big ass dually gave me an idea. You should try n get a dually axle for the limo and do a 10 lug conversion on the limo and make it a big jacked up super long dually on semi wheels! That would be dope as hell!!!!
Sweet I just bought one 97 5.9 12valve quad cab and gooseneck flatbed with 6 on the floor. With only 70k miles Gonna get a bigger turbo and add some stacks.
im truly impressed on how far youve come as a body and painter!!!!! you could use some helpful tips but i think youll figure those out just like you have since you first stared, keep up the great work. i cant wait to see what youll do or paint next!!!!!!! Ill give you an A+
You need to look up Tamco, their products are awesome and their single is very user friendly. We have done a lot of single stage jobs. And if you do a 50/50 clear coat mix in the last coat it will be even better. Awesome work
Glad to see someone in ohio this successful not a whole lot happens here all the time keep it up Ryan you have really grown been here since 70 k subs love it man!
put aluminum tap on the inside then use your fiberstran bondo it works then fill the back side with fiberstran bondo over the tape it will never fall out, also be careful when your running a diesel truck inside it will pock your paint job, meaning youll ruin your nice work
I was thinking about trying to paint my truck and someone told me single stage would be easier to paint for a beginner. Idk if I should or just try base coat clear coat
When you use a single stage for the money savings, can you come back later and put a good clear coat on it? If so, would it last, and look better longer?
Well single stage is base and clear together, perhaps that’s why it was running🤷🏽♂️ especially with you being used to base/clear. Nice touch with the polish, most people would’ve sent it just like that 🤦♂️
Fyi you can't fill in a hole with that. That's made to.go over fiber glass. It will Crack out. And cardboard mixing pulls hardner out seeps into the cardboard.
Too bad the fleet didn’t want their trucks to match their own wheels. Grey would’ve looked great. White hurts to look at in the sun. Very good job, though.
You do such a great job…it’s good to see that when even a cheaper repair and repaint that you still take pride in your work
This truck is a 1999 Ford F800 with a 24v Cummins ISB, it's an industrial engine.

That turned out awesome especially for a economic paint job great work Ryan keep it up. 👍
If you backer the hole with a chunk of fiberglass mat that has been wetted with the filler it will make a solid fix.
Keep up the awesome work! You inspired me to start my first build. Been doing everything at home to save money

You should name the pink truck pink flamingo
Can you wet sand buff single stage metalic
do you need a cdl to drive that
That would be sweet with air ride suspension on that thing
where are you base ?
Fyi you can't fill in a hole with that. That's made to.go over fiber glass. It will Crack out. And cardboard mixing pulls hardner out seeps into the cardboard.
Have you stopped making videos?
