- Having new brakes/springs installed in my 1987 Ford F800 dump truck. Then buying a new 20 ton trailer and having the trailer place add air to the rear for the trailer brakes.

Learning how to bake as a kid taught me ounces, cups, pints, and other measures so that part of math in middle school was intuitive. Now, I'm the one who is always asked "How many ounces in . . . ". Comes in handy for this stuff as well as baking muffins. LOL.

You ever fix something that has been bugging you for a long time? I have. And I get giddy about it. I remember one. Shower rod. Replaced it with a one-piece one. The curtain always used to get hung up in the middle. I think I purchased the new rod years ago.

@@jazko no where is that more true than on old trucks. New trucks have DEF and EGR and common rail injectors and old trucks have none of that. Just pure simplicity. They will run as long as you’re willing to keep them running.
Perhaps the reason why 1.3 million people subscribe to your vids is because it's clear that you work damn hard, nothing seems like to much of a challenge to you and whats really, really important is you get stuck in and actually repair things rather than chucking stuff away. Man, you've earnt every view. I imagine soon there'll be a generation of people who'll be name-dropping you as the person who motivated them to get off their butts and become succesful...

I think I the reason I enjoy these videos is because it differs from the others. It doesn't show much work on the business side of shows the behind the scene things that need to be done to be successful. What pricing correctly allows you to do. I also enjoy the fact that he doesn't look to buy new shiny equipment. If it works it works. If it doesn't we fix it. Stay dirty my boy.

Andrew always fascinates me with his level of ingenuity, common sense, practicality and on and on. He's got the ability to do most anything!
Build? No problem. Rebuild? No problem. Mechanical/ Electrical/Hydraulics/ paint & body/welding/snow removal/ grading/equipment recovery etc. No problem. I wish I had just the money alone he's saved by building/repairing/fixing his own stuff.

LOL! Napster was around way before '06, at that point/year they were pretty much defunct, limewire was on it's way out, and utorrent and the Pirate Bay were becoming the main platforms along with a few other smaller ones.

Amazing level of quick thinking on your feet Andrew: See the issue, resolve to make it better, co-ordinate the plan with the skills you have, then get right to it ! I love the fact you recycle what most people would give up on and create new purpose for vehicles such as several hundred thousand mile Dodges, and well worked over old Ford dump trucks. ( my own '07 PowerWagon was rescued from becoming a parts truck because of a failed electrical system..... but it was too good, too rust free, with way low mileage to see the old gurl get laid to waste. I too am a fan of the standard cab and manual controlled 4x4 shift lever ) I am so glad you gave this old Dump-truck an upgraded new lease on life !
