I’m sure it would, but the whole point of them is they are remove- and restickable so they can be used in rentals without damaging walls. You may as well get permanent wallpaper otherwise.

We used their contact paper in our pantry shelves and it’s still there! Did a pretty great job for less than $4!! I want to try these tiles though! Nothing “structural” just deco so I’m glad someone tried them!
After removing dated wallpaper from my kitchen and hallway a couple of years ago, I would never do this no matter how good it looks......but maybe the bright 1970s orange and purple plus dark green wallpaper colour was just too much for me to contemplate going there ever. It was so dark. I repainted lighter colour and am much happier when I look at my walls now!! You did a great and neat job!! Well done. 😃
I hear you. Mine was white & yellow flowers on an orange background, with brownish leaves, yet green stems. And that was only ONE bedroom. The other 4 weren't much better - as she shudders in revulsion. And that pink main bathroom... Thankfully, the rest were white 😊

I think that Peel and Stick is the total way to go cause you don’t have to work like crazy and it doesn’t take forever to do it and you also don’t need so many supplies to do it either. You did an awesome job on your bqck splash. Hod bless you! Sue M❤️🙏👍🏻😊❌⭕️
We just had a small kitchen fire on the stove. We have the peel and stick tile from DT and though other things were damaged from the fire or destroyed and there is charring on a cabinet, the DT did not melt or change color. We were shocked they were unfazed by the high temperature and not damaged.
In my last apartment, an old building, I used that contact paper in so many places - backsplash, behind shelves in the old kitchen units with glass doors on top. Under the kitchen sink - it's waterproof, lined drawers.... It comes in so many patterns and colors and yes, it stays put!

For anyone who’s interested, you can always seal the wallpaper with Decorators Varnish to protect it from moisture.

I’ve used it in my camper with command strips on it holding decor. 7 months and going strong.
Yeah especially in the kitchen I would expect it to get splashed and more likely to come off

@@mastandstars5869 yes, it came from Dollar Tree. It is not glossy, more of a matter finish. I don't know how it will work in the kitchen.
I put some up in my bathroom closet and they didn't stay up, some fell a d some wrinkled up...but that could b due to humidity...

I used the blue on a dresser top then got some pretty blue knobs. Came out so pretty.
