Unlike you, who started knitting early, I’m 72 and didn’t start knitting until I was 64. I’m going to watch all your episodes! Thank you!
Hi there. I just found your channel and I’m binge watching all your vlogs. Your makes are beautiful. I’m from the northern part of Canada. I’m inspired by your rustic socks you made.

Hi Inga. About the Wallin sweater, i suggest you check Arne and Carlos vlogs. They have a 4 episode series of knitting a cardigan and steeking sleeves, collars, etc. Also, there are other resources in UA-cam about this. Good luck! 👍
Also, the fruity knitting podcast has an episode where she discusses how she made alterations to that very sweater in order to fit around the bust and underarms. I believe it was about 2 years ago when it aired. Looks beautiful keep up the great work!
Hi Inge, Just found your podcast, and I already love it. Your sweater and socks are very beautiful.😍 As I live in The Netherlands I have visited Stephen & Penelope several times already, it is a great shop with beautiful brands of yarn and accessories for knitting. And how nice that you started sewing. Your bags are great first projects. I sew too, it is so much fun once you know how everything works. You will be so proud when your blanket is finished.😂 Have a nice day.🙋🏼♀️
Hi Inga, I think you will find info for the sweater you are knitting on Arne & Carlos here on youtube. Look for the one about steeking , don't know if the spelling is correct, but you knit in the round all the way up to the shoulders. Then you use a sewing machine and sew down the middle then cut between the two rows of sewing if you want a cardigan then around the neck line and cut that and again for the arm holes for the sleeves I think. Any way check out their videos and they show you step by step. Thank you for your videos! Sandie

@Knittingtraditions - Continue knitting your WIP body colourwork to the arms, knit the sleaves cuff up and join (later finish the under arms with kitchener stitch) before finishing the neckline. You can take a look at (www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/ausable-3) and mash the arm section of it together with your WIP colourwork pattern - I think it should work for you, or at the very least it would get it off the needles!

Oh you are too cute! Just practice your sewing, and you will get there. I learned in school and I found just following simple tutorials teaches you how to sew. Noodle head has a couple of free sewing tutorials for knitting bags/pouches that I find to be very instructive with step by step instructions. I also know that Tilly and the buttons focuses on beginners with great step by step instructions if you ever get to sewing clothes. Charm patterns is the next step, as Gertie takes you through making advanced patterns, still with really amazing tutorials. Check them out. /Sandra
I will, thank you so much
Greetings from Luxembourg 🇱🇺
I'm a little slow🤭 I just got the winter is coming "GOT" reference 😂
hehe;)
Did you solve your colour work issue on your V neck? Believe I've got a solution for you if not!
Not yet, its resting as a UFO while im makign gifts for christmas :P
@Knittingtraditions
- Continue knitting your WIP body colourwork to the arms, knit the sleaves cuff up and join (later finish the under arms with kitchener stitch) before finishing the neckline.
You can take a look at (www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/ausable-3) and mash the arm section of it together with your WIP colourwork pattern - I think it should work for you, or at the very least it would get it off the needles!
@@silverplateddreams thank you so much😍
@@knittingtraditions No problem, hope it works out, I expect to see how it goes on a future video! :D
Loved the content and your smily struggle face but I really struggled with how quiet the recording is.
