My Spathoglottis Orchid Collection!

Hey there fellow orchid growers! Today we will take a look at the spathoglottis orchids that I have in my collection - these are a ground/terrestrial hardy orchid that can be found in most nurseries and garden centers in Florida. Maybe in a few other southern states as well.!

I found a yellow one for the first time yesterday at an Orchid Expo it was spectacular and extreamely expensive but a good deal it was with 4 spikes plenty of new shoots and mature plants but was still not afordable for me i have kids to grow Orchids.... But i will have it soon hoping it will be avaiable.

They're beautiful, what potting medium are you using for these ground orchids?

I use a mix of orchid bark and potting soil

I have the purple but they have not flowered in three years and the tips are constantly brown. I live in the tropics. What should I do?

Have you had trouble with thrips? Looks like you are in Florida.

I too have that plant but it is not at all flowering why one year over after planting but it was different colours not at all blomed . it noneed mud to grow
