Who will manage the forests. Those same janitors, sweepers, drivers will be reemployed into forestation. Who will pay their salaries. The company. Earlier also company was paying for janitors, sweepers, drivers. Companies would have to give up office space and work with these people for reforestation to get tax benefits from govt. Employees will not be traveling to offices. Will be working from home, no traveling, no usage of cars, no ACs and electricity consumed in those buildings. Slowly reduce and demolish all the office spaces which do not have any public dealings or manufacturing and convert those areas to forests. Divert employment from janitors sweepers to ppl who grow and maintain forests. Ppl to work from home virtually
Skill mismatch is a retoric with no basis, I have interviewed a lot of freshers in past 3-4 years and it's very evident that there is no skill mismatch just a lot of oversupply. These people (imf chief, finance minster and others in position of financial power) only care about business and will keep on saying the same shit that favours the businesses, we the common people are getting crushed with overwork, emplyment scarcity, industry stagnation and low wages. Any person who has worked there ass off to learn these skills will expect a decent and dignified pay and will not work at Rs.20000 per month. If you don't pay the price of the work, you will not get the work, its time to leave jobs, get minimum financial security for 6 months and leave the job market for next 6 month and you will see everyone will become a skilled worker
What is true in your company, may not be true for all companies. Aome skills are having oversupply, and others having shortage.

If inflation continues to re-accelerate, don't you think they will be forced to increase interest rates? It's not like they have the option to just stand back and watch it increase and hope it comes back down. very accurate analysis by Dr. Gopinath. India has way more unemployable and unskilled laborers. While the central government is trying its best to invite FDI and manufacturing industries, there is a dearth of skilled manpower in India. There are quite a lot of graduates who can barely write in English or engineering graduates who are not as per the market demand. Unless there is a revamp in education, India will continue to produce substandard manpower who will go elsewhere for greener pastures. There are way too many institutions or religious organizations that produce quite a manpower which is useless for the competitive market.
Big corporations are not the solution for high employment. They can easily implement automation and produce with fewer employees. However, for small companies, automation is more costly. If there are many small companies, there will be a need for more employees to fill the same roles, which increases employment.
thats why the regulatory environment needs to be revamped so smaller companies feel more comfortable opening factories
Competetiveness matters, if we want to become an export power. Big companies do that.

Fill the present quota of workforce in government department and PSUs which are heavily understaffed.
Although this might create less growth figures for PSUs but on the contrary the more people have jobs the more money we are going to spend.
We can assume that almost 95% working guys save 10-20% of their income, by filling the jobs in already understaffed Departments like police/banks/doctors, govt.will get their 30% IT and then 80% of their remaining income will be spent thus govt. Will almost get their 95% of their money back in the market.
But this modi baba is all about showing off growth numbers instead of improving the ground reality.

Last time I visited Bangalore I was surprised to see that my Ola driver couldn't even figure out the way and it turned out that he had just come to Bangalore from his village and had no idea how to use Google maps. It's a true fact.
It created nearly 600-700 Civil services jobs for 1.5 Billion people and in many more areas it depends on top many factors like if the question paper doesn't leak, etc. and the mood of the state govt./ body to conduct an exam, etc. or
shortage of skilled workforce is not the main reason for unemployment.
The is not enough demand for products & services right now. Purchasing capacity of people has come down significantly after demonitisation and COVID.

If India needs to create more jobs then do the following
1) Limit tge government service to 15 years and further engagement based on online assessment competitive exams.
2) Reduce bureaucracy & modify existing rules..( example Rapido the uberised bike is banned in some states, while permitted in some other states) such disparity should be removed. Less government More governance.
3) Limit income tax and abolish the existing slab system. ( Cap at 24%) for all, without any exemptions. All Indian citizens be equal.
4) Abolish input tax credit under GST, abolish slab system. Impose GST on item specifics. Simplify the return filing and remove the 40 lakh privilege.
5) Corporate tax must be revised as Corporate Profit Tax and it shall be applied at 33%.
6) Switch the accounting system from accrual method to cash accounting method.
Many reports says 50 million cases are pending in Indian judiciary. Indian law enforcement system is very much inefficient, ineffective and biased. Madam must understand this type issues first.

I would appreciate If Gita Gopinath talking about Indian economy its projectives short term long term based on current trends is wonderful . As an IMD MD what is her reading of the cash locks in individuals with no charging on the flow of cash into the system with multiple stagnanacy due to corruption and looting atleast i see minimum 100 people in this country locking 5 lac/10 lac crores of untilised cash stock in godowns with no circulation. Wont she feel an iIMD intereference and an audit based on IMD injectiong of funds into the system which in otherwords would probably lead to the economy to grow at atleast minimum double digit with ease and comfort. I own a training and placement company and I observe that the post 2000 population are not ready to go to a job. Unemployment is being spoken about but voluntary unemployment is not being spoken of more often.

2.Only 2 universities are in the worlds top 500 universities.(remember we are 142 cr people)
3.None of India's higher educational(Post Graduation) is in the worlds top 100 universities.
4.India spends least money(negligible) on Research and Developments.
5.Republic of India don't have Nobel Prize in science since India got independence.
6.Indian education is purely theorotical while education in West is practical learning and application building.
