Psychoghost Gaming is a multi-gaming channel.

I used to hate shotguns in this game but after learning more about how the game works, I've started to really vibe with them

Mike you've sold me on flechette rounds it's mainly the only shotgun ammo I take because I too like watching the fear in my opponents when they bleed XD also team mates when they decide to strafe in front of me KEKW

I also employ the tactic of peppering hunters with flechettes until they bleed out instead of swapping to the uppercut. Far more satisfying.
I wish I could pull off these flechette kills like you do. I never seem to make it work haha. But it's satisfying the one or two times it's happened for me, for sure!
Key is to never enter super close range < 10 meters against certain loadouts. That fanning engagement was a close example

Just tried this shotgun (my first time using shotguns in this game) after watching this video and I got 4 hunter kills and a boss kill and escaped with the bounty,I love it alot gonna run it with my lucky hand crossbow alot now 👍🏽

The difference between being skilled and being average: Mike -- leads with flechette then uses precise aim for long ammo finisher. Me -- would never use long ammo as a finisher because I will almost always panic miss the shotgun shot, so I lead with long ammo and then rely on a panic flechette hipfire to do the lucky finish. Lmao
I just stick with the shotgun because I can’t seem to kill anything with long ammo because I’m bad
@@goldfishdrowner5729 that's so ironic to me because I'm a decent shot (when I'm not panicing lol) with every gun in the game except shotguns. Hit someone in the chest with a full rival slug from 3 meters away two nights ago and still didn't kill them 🤣 and that's when I knew I was never gonna use shotguns again. I'm the same with fanning. Rng and me don't get along so the slug thing really bummed me out.. I'm a sucker for the uppercut though

I thought, at the start, custom ammo was going to ruin the game, but it seems to be working pretty well. I don't even run into it that often. Mostly slugs or high velocity rounds in a winny.

My favorite loadout lately has been Uppcut/Shotty with Flechette (your fault actually, Mike :D). It's just so viable at almost any range. Even losing the one-shot potential of the shotgun at point blank is still worth it because as long as I hit them first and duck the counter shot, the aimpunch and bleed will make them panic 99% of the time, and if you have the Terminus with Levering... Hoooooo boy... You don't even need to compensate the the recoil on that thing. It just resets right back to center as long as you're not too quick on the trigger!

Hey Mike, just watched you hardcore video from a few weeks ago. What about adding no map to the hardcore challenge? Makes you rely on darksight for all clue and boss information. Maybe look once at the start of the match to know extract locations and then you can't use it anymore?
To this moment I was a fan of Rival Flechette, but now I think I'll reconsider my preferences 🤣

Every ammo should keep the headshot=one shot below 3 or 5 meters.
That's why nobody plays dragonbreath anymore... I thought it would be my favorite ammo but you can't do anything with it.
When Mike used dragonbreath for demo video, I swear it only caught light 1 out of 3 times and with the price it's surely not worth being less than 50% reliable?!
Flechette is like playing shotgun but on a leash. You get too close you die - too far you die ^^

Love your channel, I've taken many tips for being a better hunter. Unfortunately I'm having a hard time finding a good setting for console aim. Feels a little clunky/gun fights are annoying sometimes

Sometimes the damage you take from flechette doesn't really make sense. I've had people at close range hit me for 149 damage and then I just immediately die from bleed, other times they tap me 2-3 times and I don't even go below half.
Depends a lot on how many darts hit you

You did say in your original analysis that you reserved the right to change your mind, so, Specter with flechette over Caldwell with slugs is your preferred shotgun go to? You really loved the Caldwell slugs when they first game out.
Slugs are stronger. I like flechette more :)
@@PsychoghostGaming I can see why you think the Caldwell with slugs is so strong. It's sort of like a baby Nitro. Less range, much easier to handle. Love the one shot to the chest kill potential. Helps for someone like myself who can't head shot for shit.

Man, Hunt is so fun to watch but sooooo horrible to play. Me and my buddies just get obliterated even tho we have at this point 300h in it. We always start so positive and then almost crying at the end of our Hunt sessions. T.T

He breaks the windows to close the shutters. So enemies can’t throw stuff inside and they can’t see you very easy if you are running around.

So many games get flechette so wrong they are worse than buck in pretty much every way they have less effective range due to far greater spread less stopping power due to far less coverage on hits you do get less penatration usually because they hit sideways making impact spread over bigger area

Why specter bayonet if the normal specter has more range and damage?
In trios, with skill based on, I feel like I'm getting paired with lots of new players. Either I'm worse than I thought, the game has lots of new players, lots of new people play trios, or the scaling of teams is odd.

Rmembering your vid concerning Incendiary-ammo: You got hit at 4:47 and START regaining the health at 5:22 (fully healed at 5:38) - thats alot longer then 8 seconds!

when you die in Hunt, I know you only gain 1/2 XP. but how does money found in match work? do you lose it all? 1/2?
Money from bags, cash registers and looted from hunters is lost. You keep everything else
