    Thank you for this. Had been having trouble connecting the GoPro to the Atem Mini Pro ISO. Gave me hours of headaches.

      No problem. I was once there too and I’m happy that this video helped.

    Thanks for the video! I am using an ATEM mini pro with OBS and when I use GoPro the video quality is really low. Any thoughts on how to get better video quality? The video goes very dark when I record.

      You could flip the GoPro into manual mode and tweak settings manually for your space. Assuming that you have controlled lighting, it’ll likely be easy to nail the optimal settings.

    You mentioned a video in which you explain how to remove the information on the screen, but I can’t find the video.

    Hey, I have the GoPro10 with the Media Mod and the ATEM Mini Pro ISO but the GoPro isn’t feeding to the switcher. Are there any setting I need to switch on the GoPro? I have it set at 1080 30fps and have it plugged into HDMI 4 - but no feed. Any ideas? I currently have two other Alpha cameras connected with clean feed.

      Have you tried a different type of HDMI cable?

      Thanks for the reply. Not yet but I did try it in input 1 and it worked. Just not any of the other ports. If I figure it out then I’ll let ya know in case anyone else has the issue…

      Very cool and thanks for sharing! I’m glad that it works and hopefully your GoPro hold up. My second HERO9 Black has failed and GoPro Support has done nothing to resolve my issue.

      Sorry about your H9… ugh, that’s frustrating… wanted to let you know I replaced my 20’ micro hdmi cable with a 50’ fiber cable and my H10 works in all of the ports now. So yeah, cable issues

      Awesome! Yeah fiber HDMI has a great signal, event at a distance. I use it for my Sony Alpha that I use for my raccoon live streams.

      You can provide continuous power via USB.

    Hello, to connect a camera to the Atem mini pro the cable would be hdmi to usb c? I have a Canon r7 because I did it like this but I don't have any image Ecamm recognizes it but I don't have an image

      You’ll need the Media Mod like I have linked within this video’s description. At least with current firmware, a direct USB-C connection to the GoPro does not work.

      @@IrixGuy Good to know. Thank you! I've been trying to figure out why my Hero9 Black won't connect to my Atem Mini Pro. I guess the issue is that I'm running USB-C to HMDI from the GoPro to the Atem. I'll give it another try with the Media Mod.

    How long the battery last on this setup, without recording only using the output hdmi?

    • @IrixGuy
      @IrixGuy  2 роки тому

      I will need to test that but just keep a USB C plugged in to function as a continuous power source

    greetings, there is a way to have the gopro hero 9, with direct current power, in case the battery runs out in the middle of a recording

    • @IrixGuy
      @IrixGuy  Рік тому

      Just connect it to a USB battery bank.

    Al momento de transmitir también le sale la barra de arriba con los datos del espacio de almacenamiento o el porcentaje de batería, ¿cómo se puede quitar esa barra?

    For your outside cameras... Rather than miles of USB or similar cable - which has limits on how far you can go, you might want to consider getting a few wifi radios, antennas, and dedicated router and make yourself a mesh network feeding your media center/security devices. Ubiquiti, MicroTic and others make some great equipment that will give you good data transfer rates on your property. You can have some devices connected to either directional or omnidirectional antennas as needed and connect all sorts of devices to feed your security and/or media systems. The modern equipment uses POE - power over ethernet - capability so you don't have the antenna separated from the antenna and have to try to feed the antenna with lots of coax, and incurring line loss. With this kind of equipment you can use a good Cat7 ir Cat8 ethernet and transfer the signals AND the power using the same cable. Something to think about as you integrate your home.

      These are great tips. Thank you! I use the Ring Solar lights and cameras but will have this GoPro hard-wired with HDMI to function as a "raccoon camera" for upcoming UA-cam live streams. POE is great! One cable is so much better than multiple!

    HDMI only goes 100ft soyoull have to get a couple decimators to convert to sdi for the long run then back to hdmi

      I used a fiber uni-directional HDMI cable. Unfortunately this GoPro camera has unexpectedly died (completely unrelated to that though).
