Your channel is highly underrated. Thanks for sharing this x
This thing is so awesome!! I got it to replace screen mirroring to my MacBook and I love it. It’s been so so so useful for me for setting up shots from far away. I didn’t want to splurge on an Apple Watch, so this has been perfect for me!
2 problems, 1- you can not record in 4k using the iPhone camera app because it freeze, 4k using Blackmagic app is ok. 2- you can not see yourself on the monitor like seen yourself on the mirror. if you move to the right you will see your self on the screen moving to the left. would be nice if the monitor mirrors yourself.
Problem 3 which is a huge one for me is that it cannot be used with wifi. I wanted to do TikTok lives with this. I can’t just use my phone internet data
the mirror flip though is true. I'm trying to find an app now that reverses the screen orientation from right to left to mirror the image on the screen.
I think the Pocket 3 is still the best vlogging camera and no set up required. Also - you dont need to shuffle between your phone personal content with the vlogging footage. I like to keep one device for vlogging.
Brilliant! I have used my apple watch to have a «vlogging screen». This seems so much better😃
Any links for descriptions how to do this? I'd never heard of this Apple Watch capability before..?!?!
:O
@@chilecayenne You have to open the camera on your apple watch and use the apple watch as a remote. Then you see the camera on your watch.
@@StianTorp Thank you! I'll give this a try. I'm guessing this ONLY works with native Apple app, right? Not with Blackmagic Camera?
@@chilecayenne Yes, it works with the native Apple app. I dont think it'll work with the Blackmagic app.
I hope the reviewers also mention that it doesn't have a reverse flip function meaning, what you do on the right looks like your doing it on the left. super annoying. the lag is fine.
edit: there is a button for reverse image but only works on iPhone. you can however make the screen upside down but flipping it reverse is not possible on android.
I got this and it is really handy but I experienced two things. The Bluetooth trigger doesn't not work properly and if you record for a while it starts lagging really badly. And replaying the recorded video is an issue, I had to airdrop to my Ipad so I can review the footage.
Roger you can use your watch you have on your wrist for a trigger as well
Thankyou for sharing this video. It’s super helpful
Such a great piece of kit
the thing he didnt mention is that you cant rec in 4k60 this is why i returned mine when it 1st dropped
That's one of the reasons I bought samsung Z flip, external display is so useful
😀Thank you
Good but I use my secondary android phone to mirror iphone 13 screen. It works fine with 1080p but there’s a lag in 4k. I think iphone 13 is not able to send 4k airplay efficiently while also recording 4k
would have been nice to see a sample image from your recording.
Would be the same because you’re recording with your phone. It’s just a monitor
I admit that I know little about iPhone video production. Is it possible to mirror the framing with your Apple Watch?
Thank you!!
Audio when using this vlog screen goes mute, you can’t use your phone audio while duplicating screen. Or at least I haven’t been able to fix that….. annoying
first
great review
The magnet on my doesn’t connect well so I hardly use it for fear of it falling and breaking.
Only for apple products??
You can’t use wifi while using this right?
Will the rear monitor screen work eith the built in magsafe magnets? Or is the holder required?
how long the battery last? TIA
Does it compatible with camera? Only phone?
How do I get it to connect to an Iphone 16 with iOS18, in Europe?
is there anyway to flip the screen horizontally? coz I hate that what I'm doing on the right looks like I'm doing it on the left and vice versa.
Is it sold out?
Is this compatible with a Samsung Android?
Do you need WiFi to use this? I need it for vlogging but what happens when I go out where I can’t connect to WiFi?
Does it work horizontally ? Mine seems stuck in vertical then it warps the image in horizontal
How is the latency compared to the cineview nano?
Is there a way to have the monitor on and have sound come out your phone? I want to use it to record content on TikTok but while it’s on I can’t here no sound coming out my phone
Yeah haves a lot of lag I see
So you need wifi 😂 this is number one ullsht
No you don’t need WiFi. You have two options, using a WiFi network or the other option is that it creates a direct WiFi connection.
You forget its for Android also, applefanboy
I found this looking for a small monitor to shoot low angles with iPhone, this is great.
