Welcome to the Letterman UA-cam Channel, home to all your favorite clips from Late Night and Late Show - as well as conversations with the writers, producers and performers who helped make it all happen. And for those of you who like Miscellaneous, you may very well find some Miscellaneous here.
The Letterman UA-cam channel is quicker than Wikipedia when someone dies
Yea, but sometimes it tricks you. Oh, "they" aren't dead, "they" just made a new movie, so Letterman is promoting "actor's" new movie with a 20 year + old interview.
Stan I concur with your sentiment 100%♡.

When you have a lot of free time...
Wikipedia is a joke anyway
Hard to deny Morgan's charisma here
But he was a fraud. He ate McDonald's for 30 days but he stopped exercising and drank alcohol excessively at the same time. You can in fact find healthy choices at McDonald's
RIP Morgan.
Thank you for your documentaries.
Condolences to his family and friends.
Love and best wishes from the UK.
Rest in peace sir. Me and my classmates enjoyed your doc back in health class.
💯💯
May he rest in peace. I know Morgan Spurlock's alcoholism probably played a role in his health problems throughout that month, but no one with a brain can accurately claim that his fast food binge did not have an impact. Thank you for all of your work, Mr. Spurlock. You will be missed.
There are always many contributing factors to our health. I last had fast food of any kind in 1999, and soda too with a rare exception in 2006. But, I had my first heart attack in 2007 while sporting awesome nutrition numbers. They chalked it up to my sedentary lifestyle and genetics.
Outstanding sir, I think the heart attack were indeed the aftereffects of your past diet (+sedentary) I bet now you feel better anyway. Have you started exercising?
Hey Letterman channel, you finally got this right & then you stopped! When somebody dies, put "remembering" in the title of the video. And then there's no confusion or panic on the part of the viewer concerning the subject's current well being (or lack of).
Or viewers could just, you know, watch the news from time to time.
@@JayDeeIsMyName Thank you Mr. Snarky
@@lynnturman8157 Right… he’s the snarky one
@@JayDeeIsMyNamePeople are multitasking.
So sweet of you to be so concerned for other people scrolling the nets that they dont get "confused or panicked" as to a Letterman's guest well being. 🙄
Rest in Peace, Morgan...
Who would have thought he'd be dead almost exactly 20 years later.
Ronald.
@@DrVVVinK His cardiologist.

Well, his liver damage during his movie was due to him being a severe alcoholic, so he consciously deceived the public for his own financial gains.
oh shut up Bill
Truth.
@@jonnygibs77 Its the truth, he should not have done what he did.
FYI,“Eating at least one-fifth of total daily calories from fast food (which is true of 29% of the U.S. population!) can increase the risk of fatty liver, which can lead to cirrhosis and its complications, including liver failure and liver cancer.
@@Siamese66 Misleading. I have had "Fatty Liver since I was 22.. and 40 years later..what do I have. "Fatty Liver" no cirrhosis, no cancer, no liver failure. . It;s just another diagnosis too live with, There's no medication for fatty liver..you live with it. And eat responsibly.
Dave is gonna live to 120.
Dude, please, don't jinx him.
Poor Morgan unfortunately didn’t…
Yes, contractually, he has to outlive each one of his guests.
He played the long game against McDonald’s and lost.
Always nice to see respect on here
Not funny
Actually after the documentary they..McDonald's got rid of super size option..so...
Not sure if they brought it back because I don't eat there.
Respect to morgan
Doesn't matter if the meal is super sized, or not. It's been proven all preservatives, additives, etc before he came along. His 'fame' was his own. The movie didn't really prove much, having alcoholism.
Making me crave a McDonald’s
Strange and very sad to see someone who grew up in my neighborhood posted on here. Fellow Flying Eagle. 🦅 RIP Morgan.
wow - - RIP
sorry to hear about his drinking... that really caused the issues with his Liver.
“Eating at least one-fifth of total daily calories from fast food (which is true of 29% of the U.S. population!) can increase the risk of fatty liver, which can lead to cirrhosis and its complications, including liver failure and liver cancer.
@@Siamese66 no one said it wouldn't, but when they asked him if he drank (during the movie)... he said no, when he was drinking everyday. That's all I am referring to.
As a fan of documentary film and messrs Broomfield, Theroux and Moore I found this documentary fantastic and despite its relatively low production values showed that anyone can get out there and tell a “story”. RIP Mr Spurlock sir.
Despite his documentary & his indiscretions & whatnot from the past, there's no denying Spurlock's impact on our culture. Sad to see him go. RIP.
I must live under a rock. Never heard of him.
Woke America and media killed this guy in 2017.
He lied exaggerated and twisted facts to make himself famous. He was an alcoholic and abused women for decades. He divorced his latest wife while on his death bed. If you ask me he was kind of a charlatan

Heartfelt condolences to Mr. Spurlock's friends, family and loved ones.
How about the hundreds of women he sexually harassed over the years. Don’t you feel sorry for them
@@opticscolossalandepicvideo4879 Were they negatively affected by his death?
David Letterman UA-cam Channel Peeps: Please when possible leave movie clips in. We realized some may have copy right issues but are generally allowed if credited.
RIP, but I can't help point out (2:24) his liver was in bad shape because he (admittingly) drank heavy amounts of alcohol during this experiment. He flat out lied and said he wasn't drinking alcohol, but much later admitted he did when people doing the same experiment proved it didn't affect the liver to the degree depicted in the film. Everyone already knows fast food in high quantities without exercise is bad, but he mislead everyone to make it much worse than it was.
Haven’t eaten McDonald’s this year and I don’t think I will anymore 😵💫
I only eat The McRib..which they sadly say will never return lol
I saw Super-Size Me at a cinema in England. I loved it. Documentary film-makers need to be daring and brave and crazy. 95% of documentaries are bland vanilla crud. Why? WHY?!?
He wasn’t daring or brave. It’s not a documentary, it’s a work of fiction. If you haven’t looked in to all the lies, you might want to do so.
@@goldenretrogames Thanks but I'll live with the fantasy.
Super Size Me was/is an important film. Really opened peoples eyes to the reality of junk food
R.I.P. Mr Spurlock. There are very few documentaries that really cross over into the zeitgeist and Super Size Me is one of them.
Rest In Peace
I think the documentary opened a lot of eyes though
Reminds me of the Family Guy when Peter ate all those burgers, and wanted to sue them. But pro-left Brian calls Peter out that his stroke was his own fault, downing so much.
RIP Morgan. You did more good than most, in life.
He 'dealer' is really the one that 'super sized' it.
Never mess with a clown
Cutting out only the sugar, such as ketchup, may have been a major factor for that tall guy they had mentioned
The amount of times this guy brings up “non-alcoholic liver failure” in his interviews honestly makes me sad. Knowing this guy was battleing alcoholism basically his entire life but felt like he had to hide it is such a shame. The dude was super talented and needed people that could help him, not people to “cancel” him. We all need to take better care of each other.
He felt like he had to hide it because he lied. The whole documentary is manipulative rubbish. Nobody can duplicate the magnitude of his "results", and the key sensational charge against MacDonalds -- the "catastrophic liver failure" -- is the result of his withdrawing his alcohol addiction from the public.
McDonald’s corporate always mentions Morgan as a con artist and a serial liar. He harassed and abused women on his sets and in the work place McDonald’s spoke of his alcoholic health issues and how he lied and exaggerated in his movie. Hope Morgan finds peace in his new life. A McDonald’s spokesman mentioned He divorced his current wife whilst on his death bed which speaks volumes of his sad life and is very telling of the type of person he was according to the McDonald’s press people

RIP Morgan Spurlock😢 You are gone too soon. You ate too much McDonald's food. Life works in moderation. 😢
That was 20 years ago. He died from cancer.
Is Ronald McDonald going to his funeral?
I love McDonald's burgers
It took him 14 months to lose 25 lbs and for his body to function normally again? He must not have had much discipline to stick to a decent diet. I call bs but rest in peace
Ultra-processed foods are highly toxic, even when you don't consume them three times a day for an entire month. Plus fast foods like McDonald's are made to be craved, so kicking the fast food habit is exceptionally difficult.
@@denvergrantz2480 Everything is toxic isn’t it? My steak has chemicals, it has gmo in it. The air we breathe is full of chemicals but we still live. “Eating at least one-fifth of total daily calories from fast food (which is true of 29% of the U.S. population!) can increase the risk of FATTY LIVER, which can lead to cirrhosis and its complications, including liver failure and liver cancer.
@@opticscolossalandepicvideo4879- Where is this press release by McDonald's you're referring to? Can't locate any indication that they've had anything to say about him passing. And even if they did, it would be rather poor taste to bring up his divorce situation at the same time.
It appears he and his wife settled their divorce amicably in February, so I don't know that qualifies as literally "on his deathbed".
And even though he wasn't upfront about his own health habits during the documentary, it's kind of difficult to say there was an outright lie regarding the effects that excessive fat intake can cause. That part was already known before he ever came along.
Greg Spurlock February 8th 1968
wow he said he took him one month to put on the 25 pounds and 14 months to lose it, this is why you stay in shape people because once you get out of it , it's so much harder to get it back

I wonder if the ultra processed McD's diet he did for the movie did damage to his cells to cause his cancer later in life.
He died because he was an alcoholic Donald trump eats McDonald’s four times a week and is still healthy strong and alive

15 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
I’m saddened to see this remembrance video of Morgan Spurlock here on Dave’s channel. Spurlock openly admitted to being a sexual abuser and predator in a 2017 blog post. While it’s good to come clean it doesnt change what he did… and when you do something that’s kills, abuses or violates another person then you lose the dignity to be remembered for your good deeds and artistry. I enjoyed some of Spurlock’s work but his negative actions erase him as an artist in my eyes… He’s now only an abuser/ predator. I hope that those in charge of David Letterman’s channel (be it Dave or anyone else) would reconsider remembering people who’ve passed away but who abused, hurt, etc innocent people.
