My channel is dedicated to the Challenger / Charger R/T (RT) 5.7 liter HEMI, though we touch on the 6.4 (392, Scat Pack, and Daytona) and Hellcat (both base and Redeye trims), continually adding modifications to get the most out of it. I currently own a cammed Challenger RT 5.7 Hemi. I try to bring content that is not only informative but hopefully entertaining. I do not want others making the same mistakes I did and hopefully save you some money in the end. I am dedicated to taking my 5.7 liter Hemi in its stock form as fast as it will possibly allow me. My current list of modifications is extensive but there is plenty more to come. If you are modifying your 5.7 Hemi, this is the channel to watch. I provide unbiased, I have no ties to any business or sponsors, opinion on options that I have purchased or have done extensive research on. Sit back, relax and enjoy the video.
Gonna try to do my AFR this weekend. I bought the replacement A pillar from Speedlogix. I got it 1/2 off on eBay. Most people grabbed power and ground from the cigarette lighter, so I'm going that route. Strarck is a bit far from me or I would do it there.
Yeah, it's a good place to get it from as well. Might give you a little more freedom when it comes to wiring. 💪
Apologize for slacking a little on the videos. Just trying to keep up with good content and not just filler stuff. More content coming so stay tuned!
Clean install
Mike did an awesome job. He even cleaned everything under the dash so there is no hanging wires.
Mike is a good dude. Definitely would recommend him.
He does an awesome job for sure!
That's looks good up there!
Thanks brother! Mike definitely hooked it up!
Wow, I learned a few new terms. Rat’s nest was a new one.
LOL... that wiring was a real mess.
Is there a link you can provide to get them red trim design you have. I’ve been looking for them but white version. That would help thanks.
Search for "welt cord" on Ebay. That's how I found mine. 💪💪💪
Looks great, very similar to mine great video thanks shake and bake.
Thanks brother! Appreciate the support!
Damn this looks difficult! I want to install mine myself to save money.
The only hard part is making sure the wiring is correct. Once you get that down it's pretty easy. 😉
Wiring nightmare is right. Can he install long tube headers? I can't wait to see those gauges on Monday.
That wiring job was awful. One of the worst I've seen. Plus just having bare wire all over the place, WTF? Yes he can do headers. Just let me know when you are ready and we can coordinate it.
@@ModernRedHemi bare wires can cause fires and that's not what we want for Shake and Bake. Wouldn't be a site to witness. Headers probably first of the year especially after I get tuned.
Ouch, what a nightmare. I was always curious as to what it would take to install gauges on the pillar like that. He did a heck of job.
Mike is one awesome dude to tackle that mess. I had no idea it was that bad under there. Like I said, you just have to be careful of the air bag in the pillar, other than that it's a snap, pending any wiring nightmares. LOL
Is that your stock pillar that's been drilled
Yes, stock pillar.
@@ModernRedHemi hmm gave a idea because I did not want to buy a whole new pillar lol just to add some pods
@@aaronferguson47 I bought a general 2 pod holder on Amazon and just squished it on there. You just have to be careful not to hit the airbag with anything.
@@ModernRedHemi thought about that also lol
What gauge pod is that?
That was a generic two pod I got off Amazon. Now that I have 3 gauges, I went to Oritz Pods and have the 3 pod pillar. Here is the website: ortizcustompods.com/dodge.html Now, it's painted but if you want one with the same interior cloth, Speedlogix makes one as well. 😉
Which gauge did you buy for your challenger can you put a link please
I have AEM gauges for both AFR and Boost. Here is the one for AFR: www.amazon.com/AEM-30-0300-Wideband-Sensor-Controller/dp/B0184TSI84/ref=sr_1_4?crid=10DJG8LXHDVPF&dchild=1&keywords=aem+afr+gauge&qid=1627244182&sprefix=AEM+AF%2Caps%2C167&sr=8-4
@@ModernRedHemi thanks I meant to ask for the housing 😆
@@cammedramprocharged4927 oh, that's a generic two gauge pod of Amazon, super cheap. If you want a stock look and want to spend a little more try this one: www.ortizcustompods.com/dodge.html
@@ModernRedHemi I just bought the generic one as well and will paint it
What gauges do you have and where you purchased them from?
AEM for both my AFR and Boost gauges and both were purchased off Amazon. I have an E85 gauge getting installed soon with a triple pod A pillar coming. 💪💪💪
