Growing up in Columbus, my home track was Brownstown. I loved watching Gene and Russ Petro, Jim Curry, Ira Bastian, Don Hobbs, Paul Crockett and so many others. Always dreamed of racing one race there but moved to Phoenix in 76 and ran for years here. But Brownstown is a must do when I visit there.
I first watched Bill Frye drive when I was fifteen, I'll never forget it. Its amazing how much the late models have changed, the rear ends don't rise up and they don't push forward.
I’m pretty sure I was there for that race and I had forgotten those “trendy” tires with the large white lettering and stripe on the tires. Love brownstown!!!!

Love watching races at Brownstown Speedway so sad we cant have them right now. Cant wait until we can get back to normal so I can enjoy some races
