The 49ers are not going to draft eleven players that will make their roster. It makes more sense to package some of those picks and go get one of the premier tackles.
David, If the niners had a offensive line in passing protection that's around 12 th among the NFL, how many more TDs would Brock get you think And less turn overs as well. Thoughts anyone. PROTECTION FOR MVPURDY
If they cant plug the holes in there roster with all these picks or trading picks for talent then it's on them they should be able to sure up that o-line and find some secondary guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The way we manipulate this system to ensure we have picks every year despite all of the trading we do only underscores how devastating it has been that we haven't won it all under this current regime. We have become the Bills of the 90's
I’m subscribed with notifications turned on your channel and the app yet I never get notified when you are live or post a video, working to figure it out
They need to get better on the whole right side of the o-line and Williams is no spring chicken either we have to start thinking about his heir apparent!!!!!!!!
the McKivitz signing is good! People often forget that good reliable "servicable" O-Liners don't grow on trees, they don't just fall from the sky straight into your arms, like Quaterbacks sometimes do (Brock Purdy). McKivitz isn't the best passblocker, true, but he is a solid runblocker, he is servicable and reliable, not injury prone (look at how many snaps he played), so you know what you have with this signing. If he will start or not doesn't matter, we desperatly need O-Line depth and for that alone he is very valuable. The signing actualy is under marketprice for him. So, good signing :-)
I don’t know why, but I’m still having high hopes for Belichick I got hopes and dreams that they promoted from within just to have at the last moment put in bill it would be very belichickian to keep it at the last moment, and just like the 49ers to keep all the info within the building all while not even hurting Sorenson‘s feelings being that he’d be learning from the goat himself everybody wins, especially me, helps me to deal with the everyday loss of three Super Bowl😂
LOL..".they came within a fumble" of winning the SB. ....and not running the ball second half within a superbowl. ...and receiving the ball first in OT from winning a SB, and calling a pass play on 3rd and 4 in OT, instead of 2 running plays with CMC from winning a superbowl instead taking an incomplete pass and settling for kicking a field goal from winning a SB. None of that at players fault. Not sure drafting good players will fix that? But maybe it will be enough over-compensation and we win a Super bowl this year. Trying to keep the faith Kyle. David you're a pro....love your attention to detailed and comprehensive data
Actually David, IMO, When Burford missed the block at the goal line Aiyuk was open, but Purdy couldn't find him because he had an unblocked player in his face. Go Niners.!
It depends on what Young’s contract is and how much he plays. Most people assumed that if the 49ers didn’t resign him that would be because he was too expensive therefore that would have fit the compensatory criteria.
Most likely yes, potentially even as high as a 3rd-round comp. pick for 2025. If that happens (if Young signs a big enough deal), then we didn't really even give up a pick for him - we just deferred it by a year.
"My" Priorities: 1) O-line, right side (pass pro) 2) LB (cover Dre, build run stopping; I like bringing back Azeez - paid by extending Trent) 3) resign/extend Jauan (not listing BA 'cuz that's just a given) THEN (not as urgent) 4a) DE (a star bookend for Nick would be nice, but we're OK with rotating Young, Gregory and healthy Jackson, Ferrell coming back) 4b) CB (Thomas is the weakest, but he's a break-even player - makes occasional big plays and occasional dumb costly plays, but his biggest problem is DPI's that can be trained out)
I agree with everythi g say David, but colton didnt cost the 49ers near as much as mcglinchey did in penalty yards and timing. Correct me if im weong, but i dont think colton had not 1 flag pulled on him. He stayed disciplined even when getting beat and focused on keeping his footwork... it was only his first time being the starter all year.
I remember when coach banana hands claimed he got the best quarterback in the draft back in 2017 after they drafted Beathard and he never even went to go see Patrick Mahomes throw. 🤔🤔
The comp pick this year for Demeco Ryans and Ran Carthon (the two hires get combined because we maxed out that system) went to Washington in the Chase Young trade. We'll most likely get a 3rd-round player comp. pick next year for him leaving, so we didn't really even give up a pick for him - we effectively just deferred a pick by a year.
Wait did I miss something are the Niners going to secure Jimmy G as a back up? There is no need of Niners get this many comp picks my hope is Brock gets the pass protection D-line and O-line get bulked up .
I'm concerned that with Adam Peters' voice not in the Draft Room, Kyle's gets louder. If he burns another top draft pick on a Running Back that he never plays and then cuts him half way thru the season, I think I'll start a "Trade Kyle Shanahan" Crusade. It would be really interesting to know who was the biggest advocate of each Draft Choice since 2017, because there's been a few excellent ones, but a bunch of dogs hit ones too.
Should be superbowl champion brock purdy! wtf coaching and rt. Also brock has gotten closer and closer each year he has played… there’s only one more step purdy
Nice having a full range of picks. McKivitz pass rush ranking was 42nd out of 61 qualifying tackles, in bottom 20%. He's horrible. Just cheap. Let's not celebrate that
@@henryhenderson7051 Are you talking about Moody or Mooney? Moody missed potential game winner at Cleveland. Missed XP in Super Bowl lead to OT. I guess we have a different definition of good.
“CJ Beathard walked so Brock Purdy could run” that is amazing play on words right there, and great story telling.
The right side of the OL had Purdy running a lot!
Lol
Nah bruh….after what Fred just did….Fred is crawling right now so we can run
That man basically got down on all four and said stand on my back
The 49ers are not going to draft eleven players that will make their roster. It makes more sense to package some of those picks and go get one of the premier tackles.
Said the same thing. They are win now mode. They don’t need 11 draft picks at the moment.
Dang Raiders.
Been saying since SB
PROTECTION FOR MVPURDY
David,
If the niners had a offensive line in passing protection that's around 12 th among the NFL, how many more TDs would Brock get you think
And less turn overs as well.

PROTECTION FOR MVPURDY
If they could trade two or three of them to move up high enough tor an impact player in the early second round I would think they would do it.
Love that comp story (Beathard to Purdy)!
I agree 💯 persent let's go niners 😭😁 bro 🦁👑
Excellent story David thanks
David, Thanks for the draft lesson. Appreciate your work.
Hell yeah 😭 David love your content much appreciated ❤ let's go niners 😭😁 bro 🦁👑
I hope Purdy excels and prove the haters wrong again! 🙏
Purdy will!
Cool comp pick story. Glad we got Purdy! Great job as always David, thanks!
You kill it bro ❤
Thank David. The best to ever do it!
Jimmy G letting the Niners down one last time. Seems appropriate.
😂 ok this one got me
Damn
I'm dead 😂
Wow, the Brick Purdy is something else and what a nice modest and very capable young man. A team player. No wonder that he is so popular on the team.
JIMMY G IS THE BEST #2 BACKUP!!! FOR CHEAP
Dave explained in a separate video how that bridge has already kinda burned.
If they cant plug the holes in there roster with all these picks or trading picks for talent then it's on them they should be able to sure up that o-line and find some secondary guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!
most definitely
Should trade kyle shanahan eith those picks

good luck. i don’t get half of my notifications
Turn the notifications on and off and select all. It is hit or miss, though.
Let's hope they do better this year....keep drafting TE, RB and DL....
Yeah McKivitz, thank you for watching after Jones, no matter who was covering him…
They need to get better on the whole right side of the o-line and Williams is no spring chicken either we have to start thinking about his heir apparent!!!!!!!!
I totally understand and agree with you 💯 persent let's go niners 😭😁 bro 🦁👑
Your list is missing the 3rd round comp pick #99.
Commanders own that pick in the Chase Young trade.

So is it eleven that includes the five ?or is it a total of 16? > 11 plus 5?
I hope they trade up to take an offensive lineman, hopefully a beast guard.
I don't mind mckvitz at right tackle. Now, right guard when feliciano wasn't playing was rough to watch.
That's ALOT of picks... I see depth like a motha LET'S GO and REALLY get that 6 this year...
49ers 4 life
I😂2nd that 💯 persent let's go niners 😭😁 bro 🦁👑
Mike Urtuza screwed up. He left off the 3rd round #99 comp pick. He only listed 4 comp picks.
Comps and reg. picks are on the clock...
Shame about not getting pick 262 this year 😁
Yea, those 4 pks, 3rd Rd 94 - 5th 132 look like their meat and potatoes, but they still might trade them up, anyways.
What happened to our original 5th and 6th round picks?
I don’t know why, but I’m still having high hopes for Belichick I got hopes and dreams that they promoted from within just to have at the last moment put in bill it would be very belichickian to keep it at the last moment, and just like the 49ers to keep all the info within the building all while not even hurting Sorenson‘s feelings being that he’d be learning from the goat himself everybody wins, especially me, helps me to deal with the everyday loss of three Super Bowl😂

Coach choked again plain and simple
Actually David, IMO, When Burford missed the block at the goal line Aiyuk was open, but Purdy couldn't find him because he had an unblocked player in his face. Go Niners.!
Question David, if they elect to not resign Chase Young we get a pick in return right? I swear i remember that being part of the deal

What would it take to package a bunch of picks to move up to say No 10 and draft a top OT. And don't say a bunch of 4th round picks.
Pick 31, pick 63, pick 175 and a first round in 2025.
"My" Priorities:
1) O-line, right side (pass pro)

EE HSVE TO COVER JUDTIN SIMMONS!!!!! I mean he could have a Kyle Hamilton effect on the 49ers no question!!!!!’
Chase Young wasn’t really worth a 3rd as it turned out, oh well, the 49ers get a comp pick for him.
I agree with everythi g say David, but colton didnt cost the 49ers near as much as mcglinchey did in penalty yards and timing. Jimmy G screwing us even after he’s gone 😂
Could one of the Comp picks be Jimmie Ward?
You said 5 comp picks but looks like you only listed 4.
Chase Young. Got it
Rest assured Jerry Jones is mashing his teeth because the 49ers got 5 extra picks.
No Demeco comp??
The comp pick this year for Demeco Ryans and Ran Carthon (the two hires get combined because we maxed out that system) went to Washington in the Chase Young trade.

Get jimmy garoppolo back. He needs to train on his accuracy by throwing through a tire or getting Brock Purdy’s qb coach to learn to throw better.
Can’t stay healthy
@@tabletennis1686 as backup, we don’t rely on him as much.
Get Jimmy back? What a joke😂
@@este8581 he got near superbowl as an average thrower. If he got Brock’s first trainer to throw better, he could be interesting
Jimmy g throws one more int as a 9er
Better hit on 5 of those 11 picks or, we gonna really feel the pain that bust trey lance left us with
Dis they get a comp pick for Jimmy Ward?
That's probably the other 6th David wasn't sure about.
Ninerz must win the off-season
This is the most crucial draft since they ruined themselves with lance.
The window slams shut this season or they buy themselves 2 more years
What a triple rip off for getting only a 4th round pick for T. Lance
I'm concerned that with Adam Peters' voice not in the Draft Room, Kyle's gets louder. Lol, David can't pronounce "compensatory"
Trey is never going to be a starter in Dallas. They love them some Dak way too much. His career is dwindling away.
Need to find a reliable kicker.

about the managment side. having faith in promising administrators of color is heartwarming and does pay off.
It also backfires ie Wilks.
We can do better than Colton @7mil, this is ridiculous signing, and wasted of $ spend on OL
Nothing wrong with having Jimmy GQ back...
Ship has sailed.
Jimmy blue pill. Gets the last laugh. Lol
first!
Darn! Just one 5th round pick. That's when we usually hit.
David, it looks like you're in a trailer. Maybe a boat.
