- The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (Irdai) recently announced a policy update, saying health insurance companies must offer products catering to all age groups.
This move was misinterpreted as the regulator removing the age cap for buying health insurance.

IRDA is sleeping and heath insurance companies are either delaying or rejecting claims in case of senior citizens.
It's better to depend on hard cash rather than paying to agents and insurance Companies.

Mam I am sorry to write that you do not reply any of my messages. Let me see if you can be helpful to me in one of the issue of mine. My claim is registered with Niva Bupa which has been around 2 years old. I have sent more than 200 mails to them to settle my claim. I have written to IRDAI, Grieviance Cell, gro, their doctors Minkle goel and so on. But they are not hearing at all. IRDAI too seems to be a puppet in the hands of insurance company. Is there any other way to get the claim settled without going to forum ? I have tagged Bimalokpal too in each of my mail. Kindly suggest what to do. But for God sake please reply.
