I was looking at this in bestbuy yesterday comparing it to my Samsung QLED. It looks great in person just as bright and sharp as Samsung tv. Great review!!

This is my bedroom TV. we have a 2020 Series 6 and love it!! This is very comparable to series 6 2020. Series 2021/2022 Is probably worth the extra few hundred if you can afford it otherwise grab this one
Having problems getting sound from HDMI EARC to a Yamaha soundbar YAS 109. Tried all even 5 cables one is 2.0 and new. I do not game so 1.4 HDMI should be OK? send info to TCL and Yamaha. Picked up Yamha as it has Alexa, wifi network connections and built in subwoofer. We prefer low base It sounds nice. Any thoughts on which bar might work best. Initially th ebar was picked up by TCL TV and the remote activity was showing on the screen but no sound from the bar. Anyway thanks if you have time. Contacted both TCL and Yamaha, waiting for response.
I have the tcl 65 inch 8k Roku version of this tv. I’m somewhat happy with it except it has some minor bugs that I have to deal with which, if I had gone looking for it, would have changed my option of buying it. Occasionally, when i press the power button either on the remote or back of tv, it won’t turn on. TCL and other reviews told me to unplug it so it resets. You do that once no problem, but several times a week is a bit aggravating. And that seems to be a common problem with tcl tvs that UA-cam has several videos on that specific problem. But otherwise, it’s a pretty good tv for its price point.

@@cletuskasady6961 you have to unplug it as well?? Thats the only thing i dont like about my tv. When you pay as much as you do, you want it to operate correctly. I should have been paying more attention but i really wanted the 2.1 hdmi. I should have bought the lg 8k tv but it was super high at the time. Whats disheartening is that is seems to be a very well known tcl problem that is has multiple videos on it. Wish i would have seen those before i purchased. Lol
@@MrNeosoul65 I have a 70 in Skyworth and i have to unplug it and plug it back in because it freezes and the power wont turn on or off i think its a problem with google rather than the tv because when i use regular tv through an antenna it does not do that so i believe its a google bug.
How is this for watching Football and movies? Looking at picking this up over the weekend.
